(ooc: January 2nd. Morning.) Ororo stood outside the base lost in her own thoughts. She was grateful Piotr Rasputin was here. One of her students was safe. But she missed Scott, Jean, Logan, Xavier, and the rest of her friends and students. She hoped they were all okay. She frowned as a big storm was brewing above them. She sighed closing her eyes breathing slowly not wanting to cause a big storm right now. The world had enough damage right now. It didn't need more from her. She was able to calm herself down to a light rain storm as she stood in the rain. She couldn't help but laugh as it had been a very long time since she's seen and felt rain. "At least nature hasn't changed." said Ororo. She added a slight breeze as well. So she felt the rain and breeze on her face as she grinned pleased with her work. She took a seat on the porch and relaxed feeling a bit happier now that she'd vented out her anger in a storm even just a weak one. She paused looking up as she heard footsteps come in. She wasn't sure who it was but just called out to them anyway. "Hello. Sorry about the storm. I just need to vent. It'll blow over soon enough."said Ororo.

"Ah it's ok. I'm used to the rain!" Steve responded back, seeing Storm using her powers for a lesser angry purpose. So it turned out she did indeed control the weather. He then went over and saw that this happened for a reason relating to Storm. He could immediately tell that she needed to let stuff out of her mind. Despite being a bit wet, Steve sat on the porch and responded "Ms. Storm. Would you like to have a seat and talk about it?" He then blushed "Sorry. I know it might be none of my business why you need to vent but I'm just trying to be helpful I suppose"

Ororo looked up seeing Steve and smiled. She took a seat and sighed. "There's not much to really talk about. My friends, my colleagues, my students are all missing or dead. Except Piotr Rasputin. He's a good kid. I just wish more of the others survived." said Ororo. She smiled at him. "I thank you for trying to help me but talking's not going to help much. There's nothing I could do until they're found. Hopefully alive. I'm just taking out my frustrations with the weather. I chose water even though I was tempted to use snow or hail but I didn't want anyone to get hurt." said Ororo.

"Well how do you feel about it? That's something to talk about. Sure it's obvious but it's still something to dwell on and progress" Steve objected, trying to help Storm see his point in trying to help her. He knew a lot about her was obvious but he wanted to befriend these people. If you knew these people well and trusted them, the better chance of getting along. He learned this the hard way thanks to his fights with stark in the past.
"I see. Well at least I'm being supportive. Or at least trying to be" Steve said, disappointment in his voice. He felt bummed that he wasn't really doing much. "We'll find them, ororo, I promise. I'm one of the leaders, I'll make sure your living students and friends are found alive and safe" He then nodded as Ororo said she took it out by making it rain "Thanks. I hate snow. It just really bothers me. And hail hits your head way too hard" He smiled, trying to seem friendly. He was just being friendly because he didn't really have anyone else right now.

Ororo listened to him and smiled. "I miss them Steve. I grew up with some of them in that school. Some of them I've watched grow up when I became a teacher there. It breaks my heart that even one of them could be hurt or worse out there. Only two of us survived that I know of. They could all be dead or hurt somewhere. Or worse as Loki's prisoners." said Ororo. She smiled at him. "I appreciate that Steve. I'm not the person who usually bottles things up. But releasing my anger, my sadness, and frustration on this storm has helped me a lot.My powers are affected by my emotions so if I didn't do this now then something could have gone wrong in training or in a battle." said Ororo. Ororo nodded. "I hope we do Steve. I'm trying to be optimistic but many of us have friends and family out there. I don't know which would be worse. Finding out they're dead. Or live the rest of my life never knowing if they're alive or dead.." said Ororo. She paused at him and smiled. "Is that because of how you were frozen for years? Or do you just have bad experience with winter?" asked Ororo, curious. She nodded. "Yes. Hail I'd only reserve for my enemies but even then if nothing else failed. Hail can be lethal or severely hurt someone if you're caught in a storm." said Ororo.

"That I can understand. I lost a lot of friends during... well my time. It's odd sometimes to say that something I remember like yesterday happened so many years ago for you. I'm really sorry about some of your students. I'm hoping they're alive but in hiding. Not with Loki. Heavens know what he's capable of" Steve said, trying not to be disrespectful but also opinionated in his own right.
"Yeah good thing. It's best to let it out. However you can. It's no trouble to me.. Just so long as it's not snow or hail" Steve said with a calm grin. He then nodded about the troubles of being optimistic in this war "I understand completely. It's not easy. I'm not saying don't be worried. Just have faith is all" He then snorted slightly, having a slight sense of humor with Ororo's words "Good question. It's both. I was a pretty sickly kid and winter was a pain. Now it just reminds me of the past in a bad sense"
"I don't care what you do with your enemies. Just don't aim at me" Steve said, his smile and tone implying he was just kidding.

Ororo nodded. "I'm sorry to hear that. I guess we're all in the same boat now. Friends and family dead or missing. At this point even being Loki's captives might be better as they might have a bette chance of surviving. It's chaos out there." said Ororo. Ororo chuckled as he suggested no snow or hail. "I won't. I just wish I'd saved more of my students and friends. I feel like I let them down." said Ororo. Ororo grinned listening to Steve's words. "I'm not giving up. Even if it's just one of my students of friends that is still alive I'm not going to give up till I bring them home. Even if I have to go to Asgard to do it." said Ororo. She paused listening to him and nodded. "Sorry to hear that. I'll make sure to keep you away from winter weather when I can." said Ororo. Ororo chuckled again. "Believe me I try not to show too much mercy on my enemies but I rarely use hail. It can be uncontrollable and could severely hurt or kill someone if it's too rough. But snow and water and ice can't harm someone too badly." said Ororo. Steve Rogers(Captain America)

"Perhaps it is best to be a captive then around here. Living anywhere is better than death I suppose" Steve replied. He had his own thoughts but he did agree with her. Alive meant a chance of getting them back. Steve sighed softly, worried about the innocent people both on earth and on asgard. Loki did a hell of a lot of damage. He didn't know what to do or think.
"Don't blame yourself, Ororo. Your students surely won't. We'll find who we can. I swear it" Steve promised her. He then smiled, pleased to see she was not going to give up, even if it was just one student she would fight to the death for them. He nodded "It's nice to see that you care about every student you have or had. You are a very good teacher"
"I appreciate that, thank you" Steve said. It wasn't her fault but his past haunted him sometimes with the snow. The frozen winter. He shuddered at the thought of being frozen alive. Many years of some forced hibernation. He then nodded "I do believe you. Hail is a pain" He chuckled at that

Ororo nodded. "I wish we could build something like a safe haven for any survivors. But we barely have enough food and supplies for ourselves. Not enough to build a city or even a couple houses." said Oror. She smiled at him. "You're right. Blaming ourselves won't change anything. I just hope we can find them." said Ororo. Ororo nodded again. "I'm a teacher but some of them were my friends. I care about all of them. I want them all here where it's safe." said Ororo. Ororo chuckled at his reply. "It certainly can be. It's one of the most destructive forces of nature that doesn't need a ton of it to cause a lot of damage. I'll save it for Loki." said Ororo. Steve Rogers(Captain America)

"We will get more supplies eventually. This is just a start to this rebellion. It may take a very long time and hopefully things will change" Steve said, hopefully. He was a hopeful person but maybe that it was denial in of itself because of all the disaster thus far. He then held her shoulder in a friendly manner with a kind grin "We will find them. I promise. I won't rest until your students, my friends and my allies' families are found safe"
"Of course you do and I will do everything I can to help you reach that goal" Steve said cheerfully. He understood how Ororo felt. She was loyal and Steve was very aware about the concept about loyalty. He had it himself. He then laughed goodheartedly "Good. Loki of all people deserves a cloudy day"

Ororo shrugged. "The problem is we're in an apocalypse, Steve. Where are the supplies going to come from Steve? Most of them have been stolen or destroyed. I mean I suppose if we could find some seeds we could plant a garden and trees for fruits and vegetables. But those will take months to grow. And we can't survive on just that alone." said Ororo. She sighed as she ended the storm no longer feeling angry anymore. She was just worried about everyone here. "I doubt most of the animals survived. What is alive is probably been taken by survivors. Also we will likely continually have people come to join us. Or worse try to steal food or supplies from us. Everyone's going to fighting to stay alive. People will do crazy and unthinkable things when they're desperate enough. Especially to save their lives or someone else they care about. I also worry about medicine and technology. Tony's suit gets damaged up enough he won't be able to use it anymore." said Ororo. She smiled at him. "I hope some of them are out there somewhere. We may have to consider leaving New York though. Some of them if they survived may have gone to check on their families. The school was a boarding school so they came from all over the world." said Ororo. Ororo chuckled. "He deserves more than that. I will make him pay for what he's done." said Ororo. Steve Rogers(Captain America)

"I... Well" Steve hesitated, looking downward at the logic storm provided for him. She wasn't wrong. They were limited. They had little things so far. He sighed, finally coming to a idea "Push comes to shove, we will find sources. This is never going to be the same world but humans figured it out before and we can figure it out again. We'll find sources, we'll find supplies and if it does take months for our plants then it does. I was thinking of going out myself with a bunch of people to find supply areas"
"Tony can take care of that thing. That suit has been damaged way worse before and he managed to fix it so well it barely has a scratch. As for new people, we always take precautions to prevent thieves from coming here. As for animals, well we can worry about getting that type of food later. What we have is what we have" Steve said patiently, not so frustrated with the lack of material but frustrated with the fact it was so sudden.
"We can't leave just yet to pack up for wherever your students are, I'm afraid. If we pack up and start travelling, Loki's men might spot us easier. It's best we stay in one place until further notice" Steve reasoned. He then nodded at the prospect of storm making Loki pay. He nodded, a firm look on his face "We all will, ororo. I promise he'll be put to justice"

Ororo nodded. "I pray that you're right. We can't even steal supplies from Loki because his palace is in another dimension. Or at least off world. I'm sure he and his army are living like kings off food and riches from Earth, Asgard and who knows what else is out there." said Ororo. Ororo listened to him intrigued. "Maybe I'm worrying too much but I'm had to help run a school for super powered teens and kids. I was a teacher, a mentor. A friend. Worrying about others was part of the job. But now it's more than just that. We have a whole world to save. And I thought fighting for mutants rights was a hard job. This is so much worse." said Ororo. Ororo paused with a frown. "I know that. But if there are survivors out there we can't warn them either or Loki's men will come after us. I just prey they aren't being attacked or captured by Loki's army. I do not want to have to fight my old friends and students because Loki forced them to work for him somehow." said Ororo. She nodded and sighed. "I guess some would see that as revenge. There's a fine line between justice and revenge. I just hope we don't cross it. We don't need to become as bad as him to stop him." said Ororo. Steve Rogers(Captain America)
