New Master (slaves in army)

(ooc: January 7th. Morning.)

Evan grinned as he sat up. The slaves would be arriving today. He'd used his magic to expand his room and the slaves room into one big room. The slaves would be sharing his room. He didn't need anything fancy and he wanted to keep them safe. He had insisted he sleep in his own room and he didn't want Richard, Arion, or Loki to share his bedroom. He wanted to be left alone to deal with his emotions. He and Richard were now dating which was still a shock to him. He was also shocked to learn Arion was now engaged to the prince. He had teased Arion that he'd be his nephew-in-law if they got married since John was Loki and Johnny's adopted son. The thought of Arion actually being family was cool. He'd once considered Arion family before Arion had abandoned him. He hoped he could feel that way again some day.

Donald was escorted in by soldiers surprised at learning they now had new bedrooms. He was shocked to see it was Prince Evan's room. The shackles were removed from him but his collar remained. He looked speechless especially as the guards said all the slaves with no masters would be moving here. He didn't know what to make of Evan. He was Loki's brother so in a way Evan was his brother too. He remained silent not wanting to get Evan mad. Even though he felt like Evan wouldn't get very mad at him.

[Gerdy]

Gerdy was terrified for a lack of a better word. New masters normally meant big, strong, brutal men who beat at you if you did something bad. Gerdy knew about this a majority of her life. Despite that, she still was able to have that irish stubbornness in her to glare at her guards who dragged her to Prince Evan's room. Gerdy only had her collar once the shackles were off but she immediately glared at Evan, not saying anything. She was scared and her eyes showed that while the rest of her looked like she was going to hit him. But she stayed. She knew beating the king's little brother was NOT a good idea. She then turned to relief that she saw Jane, Donald and Rene with her. But she was unsure, this master didn't look like a brutal man, he actually looked far kinder than expected. But looks weren't everything. She turned to Rene who had the courage to speak up and that motivated her to speak "Yeah, what do ye want with us? What brought on this kindness?!"

Jane too was scared but she was just glad she wasn't being sent as Loki's trophy like some people were rumoring. Besides, he already had a consort, he didn't need a female trophy. She then was released from shackles and smiled softly at Evan. The prince was kind enough to take them as his and yet something about him made her believe he wasn't going to harm them. Much to Jane's pleasure. She saw Donald/Thor and grinned but then looked to evan to see what he would say or do.

Unlike the other two women, Rene was actually happy. It meant not having such tiny beds or being so far away from everyone. And maybe the master, prince evan, was nice to them. She always had this naive, positive look to any situation even one that meant forced labor. A bit dumb but Rene was rather cheerful because of this naive outlook on life. She then saw her new master and immediately bowed in respect, as was taught to her when she had a life back in france. "Hello sir. If I may be so bold, can you tell us why you decided to choose us?" She then jumped noticeably at Gerdy's far harsher tone and retort to evan.

[Rowan/Evan Thompson]

Evan smiled as they began asking question. So curious. He guessed the guards hadn't told them much. Well he'd fix that.

"I brought you here to keep you safe. I know personally how rough the guards can be. You see I started out here as a slave just like you. Only a few days ago did Loki and I learn we were brothers. Thanks to one of Loki's spells. He freed me and appointed me Prince. But I couldn't let the rest of you be treated so badly. I only wish I'd acted sooner to save more of you." said Evan.

He sighed feeling guilty about that before continuing.

"I'm also still recovering from an attack placed on me a couple days ago. I can't really do much right now. My new boyfriend Richard might drop by to check on me but he won't harm you guys. He encouraged my idea to bring you here. I wish I could free you but I can't. But I will make your lives as happy as I can." said Evan.

He heard Donald's request and shook his head.

"Any slaves that have owners belong to them now I'm afraid. But that also means none of you will be taken from me. You're safe here." said Evan.

He paused turning to Donald.

"And Loki's let me return your original name. You are Thor once more. You don't have to go by Donald anymore." said Evan.

Evan grinned glad Thor was happy. He winced clutching his chest as he sat down on his bed.

"I guess I don't want to overdo it today. They tried healing me but something about that dagger is weakening any healing attempts. They work but not completely." said Evan.

Evan shook his head at Thor.

"No. I had to do this now. To save you." said Evan.

Donald listened in shock.

"You were a slave like us? And now you wish to keep us safe. I know Hogun has a good master in Trigger. Victor I could care less about. But I've heard rumors of the Chitauri taking a male slave to punish. Is there anything you can do for him?" said Donald.

He sighed at that. If it was an Earthling that man was in trouble. At least an Asgardian or a Jotun would have stronger bodies. He looked in surprised as Evan said he could call himself Thor again.

"Thank you your highness. You definitely are compassionate. You could have let us rot in our old quarters. Instead you had your own quarters modified to fit all of us. You saved my friends especially Jane. I won't forget that kindness." said Donald.

Donald frowned as Evan sat down wincing in pain. He rushed over to him immediately.

"Can I get you anything? You should have waited to bring us here until you were feeling better." said Thor.

Thor looked at him in shock. Evan was a lot like Loki and yet he was different too. He cared so much about them even risking his own health to make sure they were brought here.

"Then you shall rest and let us take care of things. You helped us now it's our turn to help take care of you." said Thor.

[Gerdy]

(OCC: I apologize for my bitter gerdy. She's not angry at evan, just at herself rather. She's probably unsure how trustworthy he is lol)

So it appeared Gerdy had the luck of the irish after all. Gerdy saw Evan explain himself gently that he came in peace and kept them in custody because he was once a slave just like them. This made her angry. Evan seemed to only care because he just so happened to be in the same position once. Gerdy believed that empathy meant that the person only care because they felt the need to be. That empathy didn't mean anything remotely important. That you just so happened to need to do this and not just, you know, be nice and want to help simply because you wanted to help. Gerdy had a very complex belief when it came to what kindness was. She was not entirely sure yet. Even though everyone else was. "Oh tis is because ya feel sorry for us?! Ya probably wouldn't give a damn if ya didn't know who the guards were or what they did. If anythin', you probably wouldn't tink this up in the first place" Gerdy demanded despite herself, after both thor and evan chit-chatted. She meant no harm, she was just angry, very angry. At loki, at her life, at everything really. "Ya better watch your mouth, french-lass, or your pretty face will be less pretty" She muttered, but it was so low that not anyone would hear it or hear it well.

She then felt bad as she saw evan injured and respond to them that, from thor's insistence that he should've waited to heal, he didn't want to be too late. That he wanted to safe them. Gerdy instantly realized that evan really was serious. Immediately, Gerdy went over to him and responded "Look love, thor here is right. Ya are hurt" She then blushed "I know I just got snippy but... I thought you were not committed to us. But I was wrong. Your injuries prove it mate. I'm sorry. Let me make it up to ye"

"Hey you are getting us away from those small beds. And those horrible guards. That's enough for me to be happy for sure" Jane said with a grateful smile. Evan seemed pretty nice. She just met him but something about this man expressed humility and kindness for others. It was hard to see such compassion. She then frowned at thor's comment "Hogun and John are safe but th-I mean donald's right that kid escapes me" She then frowned as evan confirmed that whoever that kid was, he was screwed now but smiled widely as Evan said thor would be called thor again "Oh thank god" She muttered, relieved she didn't have to worry about two names.

She then went over alongside thor to go see evan's injuries "Maybe I can find some soothing lotions to make the pain lessen. It might not heal it but I can help somehow" She turned to gerdy who at first was mad but then saw evan's vulnerability and also volunteered to help. Jane then looked evan's injuries over and sighed "Damnit. I'm sorry your highness, you were right about it being strange when it comes to healing. I'll try to find something though, rene! Come with me! Let's go find something in the bathroom or something" She and rene both had that in common. The craving to fix things emotionally or physically

"Your majesty is so compassionate and kind. I humbly thank you also. I am forever in your debt" Rene bowed with the utmost valor. As if she was worshiping a hero. She then saw Gerdy get upset and Rene had to stand up "What? Would you prefer to suffer back in the cells? He's not thinking anything, you are thinking the worst of this situation. Please show some gratitude and a little self-control" She then softly bowed again to evan "Beg your pardon your royal majesty. I just do not like it when kindness is not appreciated" She then heard thor and jane express gratitude and then go over to help Evan with his injuries. "Oh my goodness!" Rene said as evan expressed he was so quick to save them because he wanted to be. He risked his health to help them. Rene could nearly cry she was so touched. She then heard jane tell her to go help find something to sooth evan's pains. Quickly and willingly, rene went right to the bathroom

[Thor]

Evan smiled at Gerdy understanding her anger until she calmed down.

"It's quite alright. I've been through worse in my life even before I was a slave. It's pretty common knowledge at this point that I'm Laufey's son and Loki's brother. Laufey decided I was weak and starved me, beat me, trained me. Whatever it took to try to make me a good leader. It just made me resent him and I fled to Earth. Where people just used me and hurt me as well. I guess you'd say I've had a bad life. I have my best friend Arion, my brother Loki, and my boyfriend Richard to help me now. But I just didn't want anyone to go through any more pain. Or go what I went through." said Evan.

He saw Jane and Rene leave to get supplies while Gerdy apologized.

"It's alright Gerdy. I don't blame any of you. It was your right to be angry." said Evan.

He smiled at their concern.

"I might need some extra help with getting food. I probably won't be wearing much shirts though as it's too much of a hassle to put on right now." said Evan.

Thor watched as Evan explained some of his past and he felt pity for this boy.

"I'm sorry Prince Evan. You've been through a lot. You don't have to talk to it with us. But I hope you talk about it with Loki and the others. You shouldn't keep stuff like that bottled up." said Thor.

He turned to Jane and Rene.

"Have you found anything that can help?" asked Thor.

[Gerdy]

As Gerdy listened to Evan's personal story, she felt even more ashamed. The man was very serious. One who suffered so much, normally, would not be so kind. But learning that his abused past made him learn that he should treat people fairly made Gerdy's outburst look worse in hindsight. Gerdy sighed softly "God. I did not realize all tat stuff happened to ye. Ya handled a lot, love. I didn't realize. I'm sorry about tat mate"

She then turned to see Rene and Jane return with soothing lotion, rubbing alcohol and bandages. Gerdy allowed them and Thor to do the work, because Gerdy felt ashamed to even move. Now that gerdy saw his actions more, she believed he was a kind man and not just someone who felt sorry for them. "Yeah but not at you. I should be angry at the people who kidnapped me, not the one who saved me from more cruelty here. I'll still try to make it up to ye"

"There's not a lot of things but it should stabilize it more for you, Prince Evan" Jane replied with the supplies while Rene went over to see his chest. Both girls gasped slightly, seeing how deep the wound was. Rene and Jane worked on it before listening to Evan's story. Jane frowned, feeling very sorry for Evan while Rene's face shattered with horror.

"Thor's right, your highness. You should probably not hide this anymore. I mean, you have your brother and a lot of us. You should probably talk about it or get some therapy. After you handle these wounds" Jane responded. Rene nodded silently, unsure what to say other than try to help Evan.

(OCC: Maybe Richard can make a slight appearance?)

[Rowan/Evan Thompson]

(ooc: Sure richard can show up.)

Evan smiled at Gerdy.

"It's ok. I probably would have felt the same way in your shoes. I just feel so bad I couldn't save Flash. I made sure to remember all of your names so I could ask for you freedom. But I was too late to save him. Loki did tell me he'd ask the Chitauri went easy on him and to no kill him but that's all he could do. It was more like a favor to me really. I just hope that's enough." said Evan.

He shrugged at her.

"Well you may have been treated her badly before but not anymore. Being free isn't exactly a good thing either. I mean there's hardly any shelters or food or water down there. With so much of the Earth destroyed there's not much left for the survivors to live on. It's probably chaos down there." said Evan.

He turned to Jane and Rene who brought some lotion.

"If it can help please try it." said Evan.

He sighed. He knew they were trying to help.

"Talking about it doesn't help. I just want to forget it all." said Evan.

Thor smiled relieved to using his real name again. He listened as Evan and Gardy talked. He shook his head as Evan felt bad for Flash.

"I feel bad for him too Prince Evan. But he did speak out against our brother. Loki does act rashly when he's angry. But you couldn't have helped him for Loki had already given him away. Do not blame yourself for your brother's actions or what this Flash did. You're not to blame for either of them anymore than what anyone else does including all of us. I'm just grateful you managed to save us when you did. Or we could have shared that same fate. I would have been alright but I would never want Jane to suffer like that." said Thor.

He smiled at her as she and Rene brought the lotions. He paused as he spoke again saying he didn't want to talk about his past.

"Alright if that's how you feel. I believe you should talk with someone but we won't push you." said Thor.

[Rene Hullan]

(OCC: It'll be for a couple posts or so, don't worry)

"I hope so too, sir. Knowing the kid's reputation, he's a fighter though. He might make it, mate" Gerdy said assuringly to Evan. He then nodded and even smiled as Evan promised that although she was treated bad before, it wouldn't be with him. He then noted that freedom on earth was just as shitty "Yeah but at least we have lives down there. We have ta behave like good little pets for the king, yeah it's hard on earth but I'd rather starve than be forced to someone's will" She had a very passionate and stubborn side when it came to free will. She hated this. She wanted to be home. But she didn't hate Evan by a long shot. In fact, she liked him far more than anyone here.

"He should but it's his choice. Let the man decide for himself. If he prefers to forget than to bring it up, I don't blame em. Not at all. I too would rather forget than talk" Gerdy said softly. She then saw Rene and Jane help him up and rub lotions on him as well as help with bandages. She then saw Richard come in quickly and try to help and she smiled at him "Ya must be Richard. Prince evan spoke that you'd might come by for a visit"

"Yes sir!" Rene said with no question as Evan quickly stated to help him with the lotions. She and Jane quickly picked him up and while Jane handled the bandages, Rene got the lotions and rubbed all over his wounds. "It might sting, Evan. Just relax a bit" She then heard him talk to thor and jane about talking about the past. She nodded and ignored that part, trying to help heal the one who saved them. She then saw Richard come in and responded "Prince evan is still suffering his wounds from his attack" She then saw Richard get right to work on helping and she smiled

Jane nodded "Alright. Sorry. We're just trying to help but thor is right. Your decision is your decision. We won't force you" Jane then helped with bandages while Rene helped with lotions. She growled "Damn that dagger did a number on you. The wounds are at a snail's pace to heal. Thankfully the lotions are helping them, they seem less irritated" Jane then saw Richard come in, both concerned and calm. She responded quickly "Hi. I'm Jane, this is rene, gerdy and my boyfriend thor. He's having some irritation with his wounds"

Richard was living in his own room still yet he always visited Evan, some of it was because of evan's injuries, some of it had to do with just wanting to be near the man's company. He knew he loved the man. Evan was still cynical but thankfully Evan was opening up, slowly but surely. Richard knew the man would trust him completely through time, sure the man trusted him but not enough to have faith in a promising life. It would come eventually. He came today to check 'cause he heard about the new slaves coming today and wanted to see how the introductions were going. What he saw didn't surprise him but definitely made him worry.

"Evan!" He said, he heard one of them(Jane) introduce themselves and her along with Rene say it was his wounds. Quickly, almost as if expecting, he politely took one of the lotion bottles and while rene focused on his back, Richard carefully took away some bad bandages and replaced them. "Well I'm glad to meet everyone. Thank you all so much for trying to help Evan. I should've been here faster. Is there anything else you want me to do, evan?" He asked this with sincerity. He gave a smile and a small, quick peck on the forehead for evan. Sure Evan was probably focused on other things, but Richard wanted him to know he still cared.

[Rowan/Evan Thompson]

Evan smiled grateful for everyone's help.

"I'm glad I was able to help you. You'll be a big help to me while I recover as well." said Evan.

He sighed expecting people to want to talk to him.

"I don't want to talk about it. I want to forget but to do so I'd have to practically erase all of my memories. And while my memories were mostly bad I don't want to lose my good ones either." said Mike.

He hissed at the pain but eventually sighed in relief as they rubbed lotions on him. He looked up with a grin seeing Richard come.

"Richard!" said Evan.

He tried to sit up and hissed at the pain laying back down and pouted.

"I hate being injured." said Evan.

Evan smiled as Richard helped rub the lotion onto him and change his bandages. He paused at Richard's question and grinned.

"Well yes but we'd have to wait till I'm healed and we're alone." said Evan.

He chuckled seeing Thor

Thor nodded.

"I understand your highness. We all have things we wish we could forget about." said Thor.

He smiled at Richard as Jane introduced them to him. He looked in surprise as Evan tried to get up and fail. He felt bad for Evan as he said he hated getting injured. Thor laughed at Evan's response to Richard.

"With that attitude you'll be healthy in no time." said Thor.

He paused turning to Rene, Jane and Gerdy.

"Why don't we tidy up a bit? Perhaps our room. I think the bathroom could use some sweeping." said Donald.

He was trying to be subtle to give the couple some alone time as he headed to the bathroom hoping they'd follow.

[Gerdy]

"You'll be right as rain in no time, mate" Gerdy said, actually smiling. It had been a while that she actually liked someone or have been treated with kindness. She was beginning to like this guy. Of course she still had to serve him but Gerdy didn't mind it. She didn't mind labor, she minded how she was treated. She felt more like a person here. A servant instead of a slave. She then nodded "I understand ya mate. Ya don't have to explain yourself to me. Ya can keep to your own as much as ye like"

"Your body seem to hate it too" Gerdy said light-heartedly as she could. She watched Richard, Rene and Jane work on Evan. Then she snorted at Evan's joke while Jane resisted laughter, Richard blushed and Rene just looked confused. Gerdy then took Thor's bait first and responded "Yeah. The bathroom is pretty big. It needs all da cleanin' it gets" Normally she hated cleaning bathrooms but she wanted Richard and evan to have some alone time. She took Rene while Jane followed thor

Jane nodded, not bothering to convince Evan anymore about talking. She then helped him down and responded softly "Yeah, being hurt doesn't seem like a fun time" She helped out with more lotion before eventually stopping. Allowing Richard to help out. She then turned to see Evan and Richard interact and she smiled, feeing a similar bond between thor and her when the two men interacted. She then held in her laughter as Evan made Richard blush with his statement to Richard's question. She then nodded, knowing why Thor was trying to drag them to clean "Yeah. I need to wash my hands anyway. This lotion sticks" She followed Thor to the bathroom.

Rene just was silent for the moment. She was confused with Evan's response to Richard but seeing him blush made her feel like it was best she didn't know. She saw the other three laugh or at least try to so she smiled for her own sake. Seeing Thor try to drag them out she had a feeling why but she didn't question it. She immediately went up and responded "I too need to wash my hands, Jane is right. It sticks to you" She then went with Gerdy out.

Richard meanwhile winced slightly as Evan tried to force himself to sit up but only to have the pain come for him. "I don't like that you're injured either" Richard did indeed do more of the work on Evan's body but took some time to actually feel his body. Sure it had some cuts but Evan was very physically fit despite himself. Richard began taking care of it more but got a bit too slow. He snapped out of it as Evan began talking to him again. Only to make a response about them having to be alone and Evan healthy. That comment made Richard blush but he replied "Alright then. Good to note" He beamed. He then saw Thor take the three girls out and Richard looked happily at Thor in thanks. "I like your servants. They're nice people" He then kissed Evan's head "I think you did a good thing for them"

[Rowan/Evan Thompson]

Evan smiled at Gerdy.

"I hope so. I hate having to be cooped up like this. And waited on hand and foot." said Evan.

He nodded.

"I hope we can all be good friends. I can't free you or the others like I'd wish. But I can make your lives the happiest I can." said Evan.

He grinned seeing the others leave them alone.

"We'll have to work on their subtlety. I'm glad I still can have that affect on you. You're as red as a tomato." said Evan, teasing him.

Thor grinned glad the others followed him into the bathroom to give them time alone.

"You know I'm glad Loki granted Evan so many of us. It was a blessing with his injuries. I just wish we could break whatever curse is blocking him from healing better." said Thor.

He paused looking at Jane.

"You like reading don't you? You should go with Richard and look up curses in the next couple days. Take Rene or Gredy with you. The quicker we find out how to heal Evan the happier all of us will be." said Thor.

He paused amused couldn't help overhearing parts of Richard and Evan's conversation.

"We will need to work on them being discreet. Won't we?" said Thor.

[Rene Hullan]

"Ah don't worry, you seem pretty tough. We'll have you up and at em soon" Gerdy said, softening up easily to Evan. This man was actually compassionate and understanding. He seemed pretty nice, so Gerdy was more than happy to be kind in return. She wished though that his supposed brother was just as kind. She then beamed as he swore to make their lives as happy as possible. "You know? It's been a while since I've actually had a friend. I think you're a good start to having one"

Then she was alone with her slave allies. She then nodded, thinking about what caused Loki to become kinder. Was it his brother's influence? It was most likely. "We're lucky, mates. We should find a way to help" Gerdy then nodded as thor suggested Jane and Richard do research with Gerdy helping them out. Rene nodded but gerdy replied with a boastful grin "Anythin' to get out of the kitchen every once in a while" She then smirked as Thor peeped a bit on evan and Richard chatting.

"I do. I can look for spell books easily if I can just get to it. Richard obviously will have to take me because I can't really go by myself. Slave policies and all that" Jane said, admittedly bummed she couldn't go anywhere she wanted by herself. Her independence was increased but it was completely given. She still had to depend on others. She was used to more or less doing things her own way. She then chuckled as thor pointed out on their lack of being discreet "Yeah, we have time to practice on that"

"I do want to help. It is a shame the prince has to go through such vices" Rene said sadly as Thor brought evan's injuries up. She then nodded with a smile as Thor suggested jane, she, and gerdy help Richard research on the curse upon him. She then giggled as Thor pointed out on their lack of being discreet.

"Hey you're the one who made the not-so-sutble jab! I can't help myself!" Richard laughed, covering his face. He then gave a slight pout "Do I? Man, am I such a nervous nancy. Jeez. They probably think of me as this huge dork" Richard then sighed as he saw Evan's bandages and responded with some determination "I'm going to find out how to make this process go faster. I'm gonna do some research on this curse or whatever" He scratched his head "This is a pickle to solve"

[Thor]

Thor chuckled.

"I will stay here and tend to him. I don't have most of my Asgardian abilities but I can still fetch him food and keep the place clean. We will probably be treated a bit better being the prince's slaves. No one would dare get Prince Evan or King Loki angry. So this was the best option we could get aside from freedom. We're better protected this way." said Thor.

He sighed thinking back to Evan.

"He's had such a hard life and he hasn't even told much of it. I fear if I told the whole story I probably wouldn't have much pity for the Midgardians on Earth. At least the ones who hurt him." said Thor.

He smiled turning to the three women.

"Gerdy, Rene. Perhaps you should take turns going with Jane. That way there's at least two of us here to tend to Evan if he needs us. I'm sure Richard would help you find this curse. And no doubt Loki and others will be looking into it as well." said Thor.

He paused turning back to Jane.

"The quicker we get this done the more time you could possibly have in the library. I'm sure Evan would bring you along every day if you wished. He did want us to be as happy as we could after all." said Thor.

Evan chuckled.

"I can't help it. You set me up for it." said Evan.

"But you're my dork and I love you for it." said Evan.

He reached forward giving Richard a kiss. He winced at the pain but fought through it as he wrapped his arms around Richard. He let go reluctantly as he lay back down hissing slightly at the pain.

"Damn it. I can't wait till I'm healed." said Evan.

He smiled.

"Take some of the others with you if you search the library. I just hope the answers are there. That is if my brother hasn't already torn it apart trying to find an answer." said Evan.
