A Place To Fall And Constantly Screw Up

[Beron]

(OCC: Same time/date as "A Place To Hide", and the title is literally a parody of the other thread. Couldn't resist. Open to all characters but definitely guard and minor characters)

Beron watched with nervous eyes as Torian gathered up the volunteers and spoke with passion. He wished he was as boastful as his co-workers were but he just wasn't. It was hard being a guard with the type of personality he had. But have it he did and he couldn't change it. But he did have loyalty like the rest of them. And out of all the members of the family, Beron did have motivation and concern for John. He was just a kid. Well more of a young adult but to Beron he was a kid. And Lord Jacob was definitely somebody who didn't understand that John had emotions like everyone else. So finding him was needed. He wasn't angry. He was too worried to be.

Kalin, on the other hand, had no such problem in being angry. He was outraged. How dare this arrogant Jacob take one of the most precious people the kingdom had. John was a good lad. To Kalin, John was the least spoiled thing his eyes saw. Kalin knew the dangers of a forced marriage. Especially for one such as young as John. His blood boiled and he cried in agreement when Torian kept telling about needed detail. Kalin grabbed his weapon and growled "Let's take Jacob into the ground where his poor excuse of a behind belongs!"

"My friends. This is a important task. We must find Prince John. He is in danger and possibly being forced to a place where he must not be. I ask for your full cooperation. Now Beron has wisely given me the location where Arion, the first witness to this heinous crime, has found at least a very good lead" Torian then turned to see hesitant faces and shouted "The fear in your eyes should not be about whether we get in danger. It should be about whether our prince is safe. We are guards are we not? We guard our majesty and his family. We go and we attack at his will!"

He spoke with passion. He too, like the other men, wished to find John. He was determined. And he was willing.

Jason was shocked that he was quick to join the scene in the search party. Then again he volunteered out of the hearing that a young man was missing. He knew that from his youth, young men were impressionable to torture. So god knew what was happening to that prince. He struggled to keep his anger under check but that was proving difficult considering the victim was the prince. He couldn't help but feel a loyalty for the prince. He didn't know the kid personally but he knew him enough to see that he wasn't a bad kid. If Jason found out where Jacob was hiding, well, it wasn't his fault if he happened to 'accidentally' snap his neck.

"Then let's cut the talking" Moran Karen said, smiling wickedly "And kick some ass. Come on, how bad can this stupid Lord Jacob be? Did he really think he'd get away with this crap?"

[Darius]

Darius was furious that the new prince had been kidnapped. And he knew how upset it had made the royal couple. Jake would be lucky to stay alive if Loki or Johnny found him. He caught up with the others and smirked at Kalin's words.

"I think that honor should belong to the kings. Or John himself. But I wouldn't be opposed to roughing him up a bit." said Darius.

He shrugged.

Darius looked at Thor and gave a slight bow. He knew Thor was a slave now but he didn't forget he was once a Prince of Asgard. And he wanted to show his respect.

"Hello Thor." said Darius.

He frowned as Thor spoke.

"That's not good. If John is forced to love Jacob if one of us harms or kills him it could make John hate us. Or try to seek revenge. That poor boy's been through enough." said Darius.

Darius paused at Thor's question and shook his head.

"Splitting up may not be wise. We don't know if Jacob set up traps or has powers of his own. Or allies." said Darius.

He sighed in frustration and paused looking down the hall to see a painting crooked. He reached forward putting it right but activated a trap door and plummeted into the ground below knocking a torch down in the process darkening the area as well as taking anyone nearby with him.

Thor smiled as he followed the other. Evan had sent him in his place while he was still recovering from his wounds. He also knew the palace very well so he was glad to help. He knew John a little and didn't want him to be forced into a marriage.

"We should hurry. Who knows what Jacob will do to him. I hope he doesn't try to force him to love him by magic or something. Then we could have a real problem." said Thor.

He smiled in surprise as Darius bowed to him briefly.

"I've lost my status and I'm okay with that. I'm now Evan's slave with a few others. I'm not sure if you heard but yesterday he was attacked by one of the Frost Giants. and he's still recovering. First that and now John's disappearance. I think my brother Loki will take out all his anger on Jacob." said Thor.

He smiled glad everyone was in agreement.

"The time for talking is over. We have a lost prince and a monster to find." said Thor.

He paused glancing around at the small group.

"Should we split up to cover more ground? Or stick together?" asked Thor.

He gasps in shock as a trap door opens. He narrowly avoids it but realizes Darius had fallen through. He lights a torch and looks around to see who's left.

"Anyone still here?" asked Thor.

He frowned seeing the trapdoor was closed. He wasn't sure if he wanted to reopen it especially if it was a one way trip.

"Damn. Jacob must have booby-trapped the palace." said Thor.

(ooc: couldn't resist a little hijinks. choose who you want to fall with darius and stay up with thor. they can reunite a bit later but gives us some fun to do as well.)

[Jason Lichon(Seeker)]

(OCC: Sure! No problem! This will be hilarious, especially when Jason accidentally gets so pissed he beats people up as the seeker)

Jason, Moran Karen and Beron crashed down alongside Darius while Kalin and Torian stuck by Thor

Darius' Team

Beron gave a shy smile to Darius. He always had high respect for Darius ever since the two started working together. He thought of Darius as a best friend also. But there was always something more every time Beron saw Darius. He was shy to admit it though, besides Darius deserved so much better than him. He listened to Darius' words and replied as Thor demanded to go find him "Yes. We must hurry. There is no time to lose. Darius is right, John needs us and doesn't deserve this. That poor boy" He didn't mind splitting up but other people were speaking for him. He noticed Darius fix a painting and before he could say anything, Beron suddenly felt the floor disappear and he shouted in shock as he was fallen to the ground. He landed with a loud 'oof!' and got up just as quickly "Booby traps. I swear by the norns, this monster really is ridiculous" He was consumed by the darkness and replied "Is anyone down here? Anyone alright?" He got responses and even was assisted in lighting a torch thanks to Moran's lighter.

"Darius has got a point, Thor. It's safer to stay together. Who knows what that man is getting up to. For all we know he could be hiding near us and try to attack us one by one" Jason replied, evident worry in his tone. He was worried about the prince. Again, as a warrior of the king, he couldn't help but feel loyal. He turned around and replied "Let's just start over... HERE!" As he said the last word, he shouted it out as he, Beron and Moran Karen joined Darius down the booby trap. He collided and cried out in pain. He heard Beron and replied "I guess so. But I can't see!" He then turned to see Moran Karen bring her lighter and give it to beron who allowed her to light the torch.

"Finally let's find the son of a bitch. I say split up though, more ground can be covered that way" Moran replied as Thor said enough talk and to start looking. She was about to grab her gun when suddenly she was falling down. She screamed at the top of her lungs, shocked out of her mind. She landed on the floor among with her three male allies and screamed "What the fuck was that?" She then heard Beron and snapped "Alright?! We just fell down the fucking floor! Of course we're not alright!" She then heard Jason exclaim he couldn't see. So she commented "Good thing I smoke sometimes" She then lit her lighter and gave it to Beron to light the torch.

Thor's Team

"Very true, Darius. But still, let us find that monster and punish him!" Kalin replied. He heard the commotion about splitting up vs. staying together. Kalin agreed with Moran Karen but got out of the way as he saw a trapdoor activate. "You nearly joined them, my friend. Good thinking! Blast that villian!" Kalin saw the trapdoor and was tempted to touch it, but he didn't want to trigger anything. He then shrugged "Well I guess splitting up it is. Let's go!" He then proceeded to start walking to find the prince

Torian turned and nodded at the debate between splitting up and staying together. He replied along with Kalin "I say split up. More ground coverage" He then turned to see a trapdoor and replied "Friends, wait!" He then was too late, seeing the other members fall to the trapdoor to god knew where. He then turned to see Kalin start to go and grabbed his shirt "Not so fast, Kalin. We need to figure out exactly where to go first. And to be careful. There can be much more booby traps or the like!"

[Darius]

Darius's team:

Darius groaned as he got up and staggered to his feet. He saw Beron, Moran and Jason relaxing a little.

"I feel grateful I'm not alone down here. Whatever Jacob set here has to be more than just a trapdoor. We should be prepared for anything." said Darius.

He glanced at the others. He paused lingering on Beron. His friend and crush that he'd never acted on. He'd tried to deny his feelings but they would never go away. And when a lady tried to flirt with him he wasn't interested. But when he saw someone flirting with Beron he always felt jealous even though he knew he shouldn't be. Beron would only be a friend and if he acted like a jealous idiot he might not even have that. And the thought of losing him completely kept him quiet. He focused back on the situation.

"Is everyone in one piece? Nothing broken or sprained?" asked Darius.

Thor's Team:

Thor glanced at Kalin and Torian glad he wasn't alone.

"I fear for them. That trapdoor wasn't designed by my father and I doubt Loki or the guards set it up. Which means Lord Jacob must have been planning this for awhile. We don't know where that trapdoor leads and we must find the prince. Once we do then we should begin searching for the others. I only hope they survive whatever that monster left for them. If even one of them including the prince comes to harm I will make him pay." said Thor.

He gripped his sword following alongside the others hoping to find John or at least their missing comrades. He heard Torian's warning and sighed.

"But how exactly can we figure that out? If we go too slow that monster could do whatever he wants to my nephew. And who knows what he's done to the others? If there's another trap we'll have to take the risk. I'll go first. If I fall into another trap you two can still complete our mission." said Thor.

[Beron]

Darius' Team

"It seems nobody was harmed thank norns. We should be prepared but let's be quick also" Beron was anxious to find John. The fear within him increased thanks to these traps. Beron got in front of everybody and looked across the path of seemingly harmless walls. Beron turned to the other three "I shall test the walls to see if there are any other traps. If I get injured, keep moving. The prince must be found" He sacrificed himself because the last thing he wanted was Darius to get hurt. He would never risk Darius' life over his own. As for Moran and Jason, the two had better abilities than he did. So if they found Jacob, they'd have a better chance then him. He started to walk but got pulled back by Jason as a spear was thrown across the wall

Jason shook his head as Darius asked for injuries. Then Jason was shocked to see Beron be so quick as to risk his life for their sake. Being on edge, he followed Beron but then heard a cocking sound as if something was going to fire. Jason panicked and cried out "Beron, back up!" Then he pulled beron just in time to miss the spear that aimed for his head. Jason turned to see a device that released spears. He couldn't help but get more anxious. He hoped he wouldn't get mad enough to release the seeker.

"I'm fine. Just got upset cause we just fell down a floor. What the fuck is wrong with this guy? He's psycho!" Moran Karen commented about Jacob. She admired Beron's later sacrifice but gasped in shock as a spear barely missed Beron's head. She grabbed her light to point out the device and she nodded "Looks like darius wasn't wrong in saying we needed to be prepared. This guy knows we're coming. And he wants to make sure we don't catch up to him"

Thor's Team

Torian nodded to Thor's plans, immediately looking upon him as a leader more than anything. Mostly cause there was no one else to lead them. Sure Torian could've been leader but he only acted more as a logical person than anything else. Torian then listened to Thor object to his cautiousness, saying the slower they were the less time they had. Torian sighed, eventually realizing they had to risk a lot just to save John. He then turned to see Kalin agree with thor and reply that his courage was admired. Torian replied "Very well, Thor. Lead the way. Let's go straight and see where it leads"

"Then that means he always intended to take John and force his hand. He planned for the crown all this time. And we didn't even know. Curse him!" Kalin angrily replied, banging the wall. He was ashamed as a guard that his prince was in danger without anyone knowing. He was ashamed as a guard that his prince and his friends were all in danger because of his lack of foresight. Kalin then nodded at Thor's objections "He's right Torian! Now's not the time to be cautious! We must hurry! John is in danger!" He then turned to Thor and replied "Your courage is admirable sir. I go where you go"

[Darius]

(ooc: couldn't resist darius being put under a spell. up to you if beron breaks it with a kiss. or they just knock him out. i figure either will snap him out of it eventually. if you want you could do something similar to torian or kalin and have the other fight thor to stop them. or something else can happen to thor's group. xd)

Darius nodded.

"Thank goodness" said Darius.

He nodded.

"You're right. We must find John and Jacob quickly. We don't have time to search for Thor and the others. We just have to hope they are ok." said Darius.

He paused and shook his head.

"I will not leave any of you behind Beron. So don't ask me too." said Darius.

As he spoke Jason cried look out. He saw Jason pulled Beron to safety as Darius ducked missing the spears. But he gasped feeling something hit his side. It seemed spears weren't the only things that had flown. There was a dart. He pulled it out as his eyes suddenly flashed blue.

"You will go no further. My master must not be interrupted," said Darius in a robotic tone.

He pulled out his sword charging at Jason, Beron and Moran. His eyes were still glowing blue showing he was under some dark curse but still a threat.

Thor nodded leading the way.

"I failed my brother. I won't fail my nephew. Even if I have to give my life to do it." said Thor.

He frowned at Kalin's words.

"We must hurry. I'm sure Beron and the others will find the prince or join up with us later. We can't waste time searching for them. That must be what Lord Jacob is planning. To split us up and keep us distracted by his traps and trying to find each other." said Thor.

Thor paused kept going when he stepped on a tile. As it did he felt something wrap around his feet as he was yanked off his feet. He dropped his sword as it hit the floor with a clank as he was pulled up into the air by magical chains which held him upside down holding his wrists and ankles.

"This magic is strong. If you can't free me go and find the prince." said Thor.

He struggled trying to break free from the chains.

[Beron]

OCC: Nah it's fine. True love's kiss baby. Also yeah, I want thor to kick some ass so I'm having someone hypnotized. Here we go)

Darius' Team

Jason moved to turn to see little darts and managed to miss them as did some of the others. Darius however wasn't so lucky and it turned out to do something to him. When Moran asked what was up with him, Jason carefully picked one up and sniffed it "It's a potion of some kind. The darts are filled to the brim with it. Whatever it is looks like it was meant to either kill us or... Oh my god!" Darius charging at him made Jason lose his focus and Jason dodged it but barely. One second more and Jason could've gotten hurt. Moran managed to spar with him a little but Jason struggled to think of a plan. He saw Darius' eyes and realized something. He turned to Beron and replied "Beron, darius got hit by those darts. They're filled with a mind control potion! You know him better than the rest of us. That mind control spell can be stopped I think if somebody talks him out of it. You are the only one that can talk sense into him. Make him fight it" Jason then saw Beron do just that, along with kiss him. Jason then replied "Okay. I wasn't really expecting that route but you do you, man. The fastest way to get to john the better"

Moran Karen turned to see some darts and dodged easily and replied "Jesus, this guy is prepared. I swear Loki better cut his head off. Or something because he's too creepy to live" Suddenly she listened to Jason talk about the darts before seeing Darius talk then charge at them. Moran went into panic mode and sparred with them to get the other two safely away but darius was easily over-powering her. He just was a better fighter. She turned to Jason and Beron and replied "Guys! A little help? Seriously!" She then saw Beron get in her way, spar and talk. Then suddenly started confessing things then, without warning, kissed him.

Beron nodded as Darius told him not to ask him to leave Beron, not wanting to cross Darius. He then noticed immediately that something was wrong while Jason was talking because Darius got hit with the dart. Beron immediately came over "Darius, are you alright?" He then was shocked to notice Darius' eyes glow blue. Immediate signs of witchcraft put on him. Beron was a bit concerned for Darius being forced into this position because Darius would kick himself for this. He had to think of something. Now was the time to do what he was supposed to do. But it turned out Jason had a idea for him. Jason gave him a idea. Maybe not the best idea but it was better than nothing. Beron decided to go personal. He had to. He had to get darius to fight this. He knew this wasn't Darius. He took a deep breath, deciding to face his personal fears and do what he needed to do for himself and inadvertently for his country. Beron moved Moran silently out of the way and he sparred swords with the man.

Beron took a deep breath and pushed the man out of the way. Beron replied, trying desperately to get darius to hear him "Darius, it is beron. I know you can hear me. You need to fight this. I know this is not you" He fought some more "You need to fight back. For the king. For prince john. For asgard. For me" He fought some more with Darius "Please. I want you to listen to me. I wanted to tell you this for the longest time. I cannot believe it took this moment to tell you this but it did" He finally managed to put darius' sword to the ground and pulled Darius to him "I love you Darius" With that, he gave him a long, meaningful kiss. Hoping it snapped Darius out of it.

Thor's Team

Torian admired Thor's loyalty and courage. Whereever this man lead them, Torian would follow. At this point, Thor earned Torian's respect. Even though torian was more or less a cautious man, this was no cautious manner. They had to be quick. Torian listened to thor's words about Jacob's plan to trap them and seperate them to avoid getting to John. Suddenly Thor got trapped by chains and Torian and Kalin saw him struggle. Torian replied "No we can pull these off, hold on" Torian managed to use a knife that had enough strength to cut through those chains. He was about to be finished when suddenly Kalin pulled him off and threw him across the floor. He snapped "Kalin what in the hell are you doing?!" He then got punched again and forced down and he then saw Kalin's eyes be a deep blue and kalin speak in a voice that was not his own "Thor, quick, the chains are broken. Go on without me, I'll hold kalin off. His mind is not his own!"

Kalin saw Thor get trapped and was at a loss what to do. Just as he was about to help torian release him, he pressed a tile by accident that pressed a dart into his neck. Kalin cursed in pain before pulling it off and was about to help when he moaned as if something was happening to him. And something was, he was controlled by Jacob's spell, the same one that controlled Darius. Kalin rose up a new man, his eyes glowing blue and he turned to torian and pulled him away from Thor. He punched Torian, ignoring him and replied in a hypnotized voice "You will go no where. Neither of you will. My master has business to take care of. And you two will not get in the way" He then proceeded to fight torian

[Darius]

Darius's Team:

Darius was ready to fight them all to defend his master when Beron stepped in front of the others stopping his attack.

"Stand aside unless you wish to be my first victim." said Darius.

He paused as Beron spoke to me as the lights in his eyes seem to flicker for a brief moment.

"You love me?" asked Darius, but this time it was two voices Darius's and a more metallic voice.

He was then surprised as Beron kissed him as a flash of blue light enveloped Darius as his eyes turned completely normal and he then realized he was kissing Darius. He pulled back confused.

"What just happened? The last thing I remember was something hitting me and you were kissing me. This is one weird dream." said Darius.

He paused as a flash of sadness crossed his face.

"Figures I could only have you in my dreams. You'd never want me like that. I've kept quiet for so long because I can't lose you. i want you as my friend than nothing at all." said Darius, thinking out loud.

He paused with a frown.

"Well definitely time to wake up from this." said Darius.

He pinched himself and nothing happened.

"Jacob's magic must be stronger than I thought. I have to wake up." said Darius.

He took off running down the hall.

(ooc: feel free to go after him. he mistakenly believes what hit him earlier put him to sleep. so he's trying to wake up. Beron can tell him otherwise xD)

Thor's Team:

Thor smiled as Torian was about to cut them when Kalin started fighting him.

"Kalin! What's wrong with you!? asked Thor.

When Torian cut the chains Thor fell hard onto the ground. He groaned getting up and shook his head.

"No way. No one gets left behind. I will not abandon Kalin anymore than I'd abandon you Torian." said Thor.

He then whispered to Torian.

""Look for something. An antidote, clues, anything. If necessary find something to knock him out while I distract him." said Thor.

He then turned to Kalin.

"Then come after me. I am still a Prince of Asgard. Your master no doubt wants me dead. He has to kill all the royal family except John if he wants to take over. Even though I've lost my title I could still take the throne and ruin your master's plans."said Thor.

He charged at Torian, picking up his sword from the ground hoping to become his focus of the attacks.

(ooc: I don't know if darius being freed would free torian or if we'd need another cure for torian. maybe some asgardian maguffin type thing like a fruit or potion if we have to xD)

[Jason Lichon(Seeker)]

(OCC: Kalin needs a bit more of a hit on the head. Quite literally. So yeah he's still kind of under control. As for darius don't worry beron will get him)

Darius' Team

Beron only kept kissed darius until darius saw reason. He was about to express relief only to realize darius thought of this as a dream. And that it was impossible for beron to love him. Beron tried to talk to darius "No no darius this is no dream this---" He ignored jason and moran as he chased after darius. He ignored the possible traps and grabbed darius "Darius. Please. It was no dream. You WERE under Jacob’s spell but I kissed you to return back to reality" He held darius' hands and replied "That was no dream. I kissed you. I wanted to kiss you. I wanted to kiss you for years now" He held darius close and replied "I love you. I have been in love with you. I just felt unworthy and undeserving of you. But I cannot hide my feelings anymore. I love you. I am saddened that it took so long to tell you but I was afraid"

Moran Karen facepalmed at the couple as jason tried to get them to focus and replied "It's no use lichon. Let them talk things out. We gotta find a way outta here without triggering the mind control darts again" Moran turned to see jason look at a doorway and she grabbed his arm "Hey hey hey. It could be another trap don't be stupid. Let's just get there first and check before anything" She then impatiently turned to beron and darius "Would you two just makeout again to solve your problem so we can focus on the thing at hand please?!"

"Beron, darius wait don't run off!" Jason worriedly commanded. Normally he hated being in charge but this situation kind of demanded it. Moran wasn't really commanding anybody and the team needed a leader so as of this point it was him for now. He then replied to beron "Beron be careful! The traps remember?!" He then shrugged at moran's response and replied "You're right. We should find a way outta here" He then beamed as he saw a doorway away from the traps "Finally a way out!" But then moran reminded him traps were at this point all over the place and they needed to be careful. While moran was yelling at beron and darius, jason carefully took steps forward to go near the doorway.


Thor's Team

Kalin's mind was filled with the mind control serum. He was no longer himself. Kalin was about to strike torian again when thor pushed him out of the way. It didn't matter to kalin, his orders were to terminate any opponent. So thor was the next best thing. Then he felt a strike of urgency as he saw thor. The master's serum did especially want to target members of the royal family. So thor was correct. Jason did want thor dead. He was still liable for the throne like evan and johnny were. So it was indeed a need. He raised his weapon and replied "Prince Thor of Asgard. My master does indeed require you to perish. You cannot move any further. I must fight you" With that kalin charged and grabbed thor immediately, his blue eyes piercing with a robotic urgency and a very different type of hate. Hate that was clearly not kalin's. He turned to see torian come and grabbed the metal rod and hit torian hard in retaliation. He then chuckled to thor "If this is what the king has to offer as a army, then earth is even more pathetic than originally thought"

Torian was out of the way and turned to smile a bit at thor. He reminded himself to speak in thor's favor to the king so thor could become a prince again. If not that, at least a member of the royal court. Many people were in servitude to the king, thor didn't really need to be there. Thor was a good friend and good person in torian's mind. And he always liked thor. This just gave torian more respect for him. Torian nodded immediately as thor commanded him to find a cure, or at least something hard enough to hit him. Torian raced, sneaking about in the hall to find something to cure him. He found a image in the steps that showed the darts with a equal sign to something. Torian's eyes lit up as he looked at the image. He widened his eyes. He turned to thor "Thor! The potion can only be cured by two things: Love or brute force" He then grabbed a metal rod to hit kalin hard in the head. Only for kalin to hit him hard and knock him out.

[Darius]

Darius's Team:

Darius kept running. He had to wake up. He had to get back to the others. It felt nice. Better than his other dreams. But he had to wake up and save everyone.

"Damn you Jacob. For bringing this curse on me. I'll never get to kiss the real Beron." whispered Darius.

Then suddenly Beron grabbed him and held his hands.

"I'm still under a spell. This awful dream." said Darius.

He paused as Beron said he wanted to kiss him for years and felt so unworthy of him. Darius still wasn't sure if this was real but he couldn't let any verison of Beron feel unworthy even if this might be a dream.

"Are you kidding? It is I who am unworthy of you. Even in my dreams. You are so kind, genrous, strong and so much more." said Darius.

He paused pulling Beron into a hug.

"This feel so real." said Darius.

He paused pulling back with a sigh.

"Why can't I have the courage to tell you this while I'm awake?" asked Darius.

As he stepped back he walked too fast and lost his footing falling down as he crashed to the ground. He groaned and looked at the bruises on his arm.

"I have never been in a dream I could get hurt in before. But that means....."

Realizing he was finally awake he did something totally surprising and ironic he fainted, passing out to dreamland.

(ooc: Couldn't resist him passing out for a bit. The others could catch up and/or Beron wakes him up. xD)

Thor Team:

Thor paused at him.

"You want a fight then you got it." said Thor.

He gasped as Kalin grabbed him as he knocked out Torian. But he did hear his words. He broke free staring at Kalin.

"You said your master wants me dead. Spare Torian. Your master will need more followers. The only threats to his rule are the royal family. If you wipe out everyone your master he can't rule an empty kingdom. The rest will fall in line. After all Loki took over so most of them accept it. If your master wins nothing will change for them. Just a new king." said Thor.

He hoped he could try to get through to him to at least spare Torian. The only ones who really haad to die were Evan, Johnny, Loki and himself. Jacob would marry John and rule the nine realms. But he wasn't going to go down fighting. He then did a backflip over Kalin and tried to strike his neck with a karate chop. If successful it would hopefully knock out Kalin and break him of the spell.

[Beron]

(OCC: All good. Hope this scenario works out best so darius won't be stuck down)

Darius' Team

Moran Karen and Jason allowed mostly darius and beron to work things out on their own. However jason noticed the floor start to shake then take darius down with it "Darius!" Jason cried in concern. He then noticed how deep the hole was, it was enough to get darius to pass out. Jason cursed out loud before realizing "This isn't just booby trapped. The whole itself is a trap! Everything here is set up to either kill us or seperate us. We gotta get out of the room as a whole" He then nodded as beron replied that they needed to get darius back. Jason turned to moran karen and replied "There's gotta be some secret stash of things here" Jason then took a deep breath trying not to lose his cool and consider punching walls to get out. He instead knocked bricks to see which ones were loose. He eventually found one that had not only a written logo of escape but had some rope. Granted it was old and could snap but it was rope long enough to get darius out.

"Okay. I found rope. But it's practically rotting. So only one of us can go down, grab darius and climb back up. It seems it can only handle at least two people. Beron since you're worried you go down and get him" Jason was kind of shocked at how much of a leader he seemed to be. He never was a leader with anything before. But here he was. Taking charge. What a new concept. He then helped moran karen get beron down to where darius was.

"Well no shit sherlock. Everywhere we walk there's something. That being said I got no ideas, so what do you have?" Moran Karen responded to jason's discovery with as much frustration as she could possibly give. This was more complicated than it needed to be. Especially with darius and beron handing out their issues so quickly and missing the point of what they were doing here. Then jason went about, while she looked to see darius in good but knocked out condition. She then widened her eyes at jason's plan and nodded "Hey. Not bad, Lichon. You got a good plan. Alright beron, get your boyfriend and let's get a move on. We gotta find the prince or we're all gonna die" She then got the rope down and with jason's assistance got beron down.

Beron wanted to reason with darius but didn't really have time to. As darius responded that beron was not unworthy, that if anything darius felt unworthy of his kindness and understanding. He tried insistently to reason with darius "Darius, this is no dream this is reality! This isn't part of the curse I'm telling the---" Suddenly a hole came and as darius stepped back he got himself trapped and fell to the hole's end. Beron, out of pure panic, screamed "Darius!" He then saw the man passed out and cried out "Darius! Hold on!" He then turned to jason who replied that the whole room was the trap, not just a trapped room "Well we cannot leave without darius, I refuse to. I must rescue him!" He then saw jason quickly think of a plan and beron nodded "Yes. Thank you. Excellent idea Mr. Lichon"

He then went down the rope and carefully went down it. He hesitated since the rope was a bit unsturdy but eventually he went down and saw darius not awake. He gently picked him up and replied "Darius, wake up. Please wake up" Beron began to get concerned, although it didn't seem like darius was dead it was scaring beron because if someone was passed out for too long it could mean serious damage. Beron, out of nerves, kissed darius again. After the kiss he replied "You need to wake up for me, I love you"

Thor's Team

Torian was coming to from passing out when he saw thor and kalin engaged in combat. He then saw thor successfully get kalin on the neck and get him to pass out. Torian rubbed his head and replied confidentially "Excellent work sir! Quite the hit!" He got up and then moved kalin away from any poison dart locations only to notice the walls move here and there. Fortunately torian was quick and managed to find a safe spot. Which made him realize "Damn. Thor. I don't think this is just a room with traps in it. It is literally a trap itself. It seems we need to get out of this area entirely if we wanna keep our heads" He then saw the floor crumble, taking kalin's body with it "Kalin! NO!"

Kalin hesitated immediately as thor asked for torian to be spared. Underneath the spell, kalin was still in there and he was very unwilling to kill his best friend. Torian and him had done everything together since academy days. And the spell couldn't break that bond no matter how hard it tried. Just as kalin was about to respond, thor surprised him with a backflip. Kalin was nearly successful but thor was faster than he was. Successfully knocking him out and getting kalin to pass out immediately. As he passed out torian accidentally got him near a area that could cause a second floor hole and kalin's body went down the hole and crashed down. Kalin wasn't too hurt but he wasn't going to wake any time soon

[Darius]

Darius' Team:

Darius moans hearing voices as he spots Beron. Still confused not sure what did or didn't happen he climbs up with Beron and grins seeing Jason and Moran.

"Okay, enough sleeping on the job. We have to find the others. The prince is still missing and who knows what Jacob has done to him. Prince John, Prince Evan, King Loki, Prince Thor, King Johnny, and the entire kingdom are all counting on us. We have to go." said Darius.

He glanced at Beron with a smirk.

"So it takes a near death experience to confess huh? You're better at hiding things than I thought. If I had even a smallest idea you liked me I would have said something sooner." said Darius.

He paused leaning forward and giving Beron a quick kiss on the lips.

"If we survive this I'm taking you on a date." said Darius.

He grinned and took off down the hall trying to look out for traps and way out of the area knowing the others would follow.

Thor's Team:

Thor saw he was getting through to Kalin. Torian managed to knock him out but he fell. Thor tied a rope around his waist and tied it around some rocks. He leapt down finding Kalin. He paused bringing him up. As he does he places Kalin over his shoulder and breaks the rope.

"Come. We can't wait for him to wake up. He's hurt but leaving him here could put him in more danger. Times like this I wish I had healing powers or Loki's magic in general. I could teleport Kalin to safety." said Thor.

He paused turning to Torian.

"I'll be counting on you for protection. While Kalin is out I won't be able to effectively carry him and fight." said Thor.

(ooc: feel free for the sleeping beauty Asgardian to wake up at any time. Thor's just trying to protect Kalin and also get them out of their quicker. xd)

[Beron]

(OCC: Yeah no worries lol)

Darius' Team

Not long after darius climbed, Beron followed. Jason and moran both helped them up. Beron nodded "Darius is right. The entire family is being targeted. We cannot waste time" Beron as he followed darius blushed a lot as Darius teased him a bit for confessing his feelings as they were in a crisis. He shrugged "I was afraid to tell you because I feared you would not feel the same. If I knew, I would've told you years ago" He then blushed more, kissing darius back as darius quickly kissed him. He nodded with a smile "Good. I'll hold you up to it if we live" He then followed darius, as he, Jason and moran went to a different part of the room trying to leave.

Moran Karen followed, rolling her eyes a little at the display but was otherwise indifferent. She followed and replied, hearing a very slight sound of male voices. She raised her hand up, grabbing her weapon "I hear voices. Keep yourself on guard. Could be some of Jacob's goons for all I know" She then went in front of everyone to aim her weapon in case any enemies showed up.

Jason smiled at the display, feeling relieved that darius was okay. He then listened to moran and heard the voices himself and replied "Yeah, that doesn't sound like anyone I know. Granted the voices are faint so I don't know but yeah, I hear them too" He then turned behind him and looked about "It seems like we're heading the right direction though. If there was such a huge trap near this pathway, Jacob might be close by"

Thor's Team

Torian nodded, his posture much, much more stiff now that he was put in charge of guarding both people. He was grateful thor rescued kalin but now he was aware the responsibility of their safety primarily was on him. "Then we must make haste. This place is far, far too dangerous to stay in one place" He then turned to Thor and shrugged at his comments "Perhaps if we survive this the king can give you lessons for something like this. But still you saved him from staying there" He then raced out, checking for a pathway that appeared the most safe. After a short time he managed to cut out a rather obvious trap then lead them to a safer pathway. He then saw kalin begin to wake up and he couldn't help but amusedly reply "Well about time you came back to the land of the living Kalin. I hope you enjoyed your beauty sleep"

Kalin's head was pounding. He was asleep for a small time but as time passed he awoke with a headache. He turned to see the prince carry him and he groaned "Ah. I feel like a bildgesnipe is trying to eat my brain" He then turned to torian who joked about him, kalin responded just as jokingly "Oh I was until I heard your obnoxious voice, brother. Besides, I do not need beauty sleep I am already beautiful" He then turned to thor, becoming a tad more serious "Your majesty. Not that I am ungrateful for you carrying me but I can walk now that I am awake" He then rubbed his head "What in the realms just happened? I was walking with you both when I felt something touch my neck and that's all I remember"

[Darius]

Darius nodded.

"Let's hurry. We have to find the prince but also the others. If we had to go th rough all of this who knows what Prince Thor and the others went through." said Darius.

Darius turned to Beron and grinned.

"Well I'm glad you did. I always felt better at your side. I never said anything as well out of fear. Fear of losing this friendship, losing you. I'd have rather been your friend than not have you at all." said Darius.

He grinned as Beron's words and the return kiss.

"I look forward to it." said Darius.

He paused at the voices.

"Wait. One of them is Thor. I think we've found our other group." said Darius.

He ran into the next room running smack into Thor and nearly fell over.

"My apologies your highness." said Darius.

Thor chuckled as Kalin woke up. He gently set him down.

"Are you sure you can walk? I know you were under a spell but I hurt you." said Thor.

He paused hearing voices.

"Voices! I'll distract them. You get Kalin to safety !" said Thor.

He ru shed forward only to smack into Darius.

"Ow. Darius? We found each other." said Thor.

He glanced at the others.

"Well that is good news. But my nephew needs us. Who knows what Lord Jacob has done to him by now." said Thor.

[Beron]

(OCC: Feel free to make another obstacle, or at least a guard, Jason should be able to show off his ability soon)

Beron, Jason and Moran all nodded as darius told them to get a move on. Beron meanwhile smiled softly, blushing a bit, as darius admitted the same thing. That he didn't want to destroy their friendship with selfish feelings. But now that they knew, beron intended to make the most of it "Well now we know. And hopefully we can have time together once this is over" He then smiled following the others. Beron got his sword ready though when darius and Jason confirmed voices. He then saw darius run into thor, kalin and torian. Beron gave a sigh of relief "Your majesty, kalin, torian. I am glad to see you three" He then nodded as thor told them again to get a move on. He was then surprised to see torian and kalin volunteer to start the reunited team in a direction. He then replied "Perhaps we should all go straight now and avoid rushing into things"

Jason was nervous as he heard more noises but his nervousness settled when it turned out to be none other than thor, torian and kalin. He replied insistently "Thor's right. We have no time to waste. Not that I'm not happy we're all together again but best we get a move on" He then saw torian and kalin both volunteer to step forward to the straight direction neither teams took. Jason took a deep breath, remembering to keep calm. He couldn't risk the seeker. Not just yet.

Moran Karen followed the team and was relieved to see it was more friends, she got her weapon out and replied "Yeah yeah hellos all around. Let's find the kid and get the hell out of here. This is giving me the creeps" She then allowed kalin and torian to move ahead and nodded as they volunteered "Hey you don't need to twist my arm. I'm all for avoiding the traps here" She then looked ahead and narrowed her eyes as she could've sworn she saw shadows. But she felt it was simply this place playing tricks on her.

Kalin nodded "Oh I've handled worse your highness. I can walk trust me" He then was shocked to hear voices and was about to protest before thor charged into the next direction, colliding into darius. Kalin forced torian to let him walk and he rushed over "Ah! Darius, beron! Old friends! And good to see the migardians alive and well also. This place is definitely a strange trap we must be careful" He then noticed torian talk about stepping forward and leading the team to a comfortable path until further orders and kalin replied "Wait for me brother, I'll come with you" He felt a tad guilty for being under a spell and felt bravery would clear his guilt.

Torian grabbed kalin but protested "Thor, your majesty wait!" Torian and Kalin both still considered thor their prince regardless of lost title and torian felt personally responsible for thor. He admired thor's courage but didn't want him to get hurt in the process. He worriedly followed, hesitating to let kalin go due to possible injury but eventually did due to kalin forcefully removing himself from torian's grasp. He sighed relief before replying "There is a pathway right here. We must go straight I think that is our best bet. I shall walk forward to check for traps" He then nodded as kalin followed him
