A Place To Hide (Arion)

[Eugene "Flash" Thompson]

Eugene and Hogun had been nearby cleaning when they'd heard what's going on. They rushed over to Johnny and Arion overhearing the end of it.

"Is Prince John really missing?" asked Eugene.

"We have to find him." said Hogun.

Johnny frowned.

"That bastard won't live to regret this. No one hurts my family and gets away with it." said Johnny.

He nodded and saw Arion held onto him. Johnny held him close as Arion tried to locate him.

"So he's still in castle. At least that's some good news. Damn. Jacob's a magician then. Or at least has access to spell books." said Johnny.

He smiled as people began to arrive. He paused as Eugene and Hogun joined them and he motioned for them to follow them.

"Come with us. I want to find my son but... I can't use my powers." said Johnny.

He held his stomach still trying to adjust to being pregnant. And using his powers could hurt his children so he'd refrained from using them.

"On the way we need to stop by the armory and grab some swords or something. And perhaps find Loki as well." said Johnny.

He paused turning to Arion and smiled.

"I'm sorry you and Loki have had to deal with too much recently. First Evan's attack and now John getting kidnapped. No one should be treated that way. well aside from jacob." said Johnny.

Johnny nodded as he walked alongside with Arion, Eugene and Hogun. They stopped by the armor each equipping them all with swords.

"Let's go. I trust both of you. If anyone says anything later they'll have me to answer to." said Johnny.

John was nervous as he tried to get out when he saw Jacob walked over to him and stop chanting. He then sent a blast of magic at John who realized he was feeling sleepy. He tried to stay awake but couldn't as he passed out.

Jacob smirked seeing the sleeping spell was successful. He knew asleep John wouldn't be able to fight the ritual and it would happen much sooner.

"Soon we shall be wed and then I'll just have to arrange an accident for Loki, his consort and their future children. Can't have someone else trying to steal the throne once I take care of Loki." said Jacob.

He chuckled and returned to his spell book.

[Arion]

(OCC: After this post I'll bring Loki in)

Arion was glad to be getting some help. Hogun and Eugene were of great help. He gave a soft sad look as Johnny expressed, due to his pregnancy, couldn't use his powers. He then paled at the thought that Jacob was a magician "Oh god than who knows what he might be doing to jacob. We need to hurry!" He raced to the weapons room and grabbed a large sword and a couple knives. He then replied "We may need to find Loki for sure now if this bastard is a magician. Maybe Loki's magic will help us!" He then began worrying some more "I'm a blasted idiot, I should've known better, so stupid"

[Eugene "Flash" Thompson]

Search Party:

(ooc: couldn't resist throwing a little humor into this. and start a ticking clock of the spell counting down. xD)

Johnny clutched his fingers in anger.

"Just wait till I get my hands on that bastard. No one hurts my family and gets away with it." said Johnny.

Johnny frowned and shouted out to Loki hoping he could hear him.

"LOKI! You come here this minute! Our son is missing and you will help me find him. If I have to find him on my own then.... you'll be sleeping in the servant's quarters for a week!" said Johnny.

He knew the threat was weak at best. As it'd be hard to keep Loki away for that long. But he was secretly hoping the threat alone might be enough to make him come quicker if he heard it.

Eugene stepped back nervously at Johnny's threats. Even without using his powers Johnny could still seem intimidating and scary when he wanted to be. He was glad to not be on his bad side.

"Don't worry we'll find him my liege." said Eugene.

Hogun nodded as well.

"Yes we will. And make him pay for what he's done." said Hogun.

He frowned.

"Looking for Loki may justt be hard as looking for John. We don't have time to search every froom for either of them." said Hogun.

Hidden Altar Room:

John lay asleep unable to defend himself any further.

Jacob finished his chanting as he slipped John's shirt up revealing his chest and abs and wrote a mystical symbol on John's chest while placing a golden collar around John's neck.

"Soon my pet we will be married and you will be under my complete control. Then the real fun begins." whispered Jacob.

The collar and symbol that were now on John began to glow a strange green glow as Jacob's eyes starting to glow green as well as the magic started to begin.

[Loki]

(OCC: Can't wait for the confrontation. I was just curious, remind me how we break the spell? True love's kiss right? lol. Also, hope the staff beacon is ok. Best I could come up with)

Arion's heart raced and raced. The clock was ticking. Arion could feel it in his bones. His john. His prince. Missing and in danger. And it was his clumsy ass that got him there. Arion was relieved Eugene, Johnny and Hogun were here to help him. He couldn't do this by himself. Jacob clearly was up to no good to pull this shit off. Arion teared up as Johnny swore to make Jacob pay "This is all my fault. I should've kept a closer eye. Jacob threatened that nobody would believe me or the prince if we told anyone. He knows we would've told you. He knew that the prince didn't want him" He sniffed, worried "I'm so stupid. I should've been smarter"

Arion's worry changed into slight concern for Loki as Johnny screamed for him. Arion nodded in agreement to both Hogun and Eugene's words. He then saw the king race quickly. He listened as Loki demanded what happened "Lord Jacob was trying to force the prince's hand in marriage. We were talking about each other and were having some fun when he disappeared. All that was left was this" He then showed Loki the lighter he had.

Loki was writing some royal bills when Johnny's voice echoed through the halls. Loki's heart flinched with nervousness but then filled with dread as he heard John, his son, was missing. Hearing Johnny's threats would've been amusing, if not for the fact John disappeared. Loki immediately raced with his staff and helmet at hand, finding the small group eventually in the middle of the halls. Loki replied with evident determination "This palace is on immediate shutdown until Prince John returns home to us safely" He growled angrily "Whoever did this will be put on public execution display. No, public exile, no public humiliation and execution" He then turned to Johnny "My dear, what happened?" Then he turned to Arion who explained pretty much everything. Then showed John's lighter. Almost gingerly, Loki affectionately took it and sighed "Gods. John never leaves without his lighter"

Loki then snapped his fingers and got the staff to glow a blue light and replied "In the name of vahalla, search for John, lead us to him!" Immediately the blue light glowed brighter and the staff moved straight "He's up ahead. Quickly. Time is slipping by" With haste he allowed the staff to lead them to John.

[Eugene "Flash" Thompson]

Eugene and Hogun were both quiet letting Loki and Johnny speak and followed them once Loki cast a spell to find him. It wasn't long before they found the site but both stopped Johnny before he could go further.

"Wait. We don't know if he's booby-trapped this place. It could harm us or John. If we interrupt him he may not hesitate to kill the prince or vanish with him again. If he can't finish his plans the prince may not be of use to him. Or worse this could be a plan to lure you and King Loki into a trap where he can kill you and use a forced marriage to John to take the throne." whispered Hogun.

Eugene nodded.

"Hogun may be right. We should be cautious." whispered Eugene.

He paused turning to Loki.

"My king do you know of any magic that can detect traps that could have been placed? We're no help to Prince John if we're dead or imprisoned." said Eugene.

Johnny smiled.

"This is not your fault any more than it is mine or my husband's. The blame likes with Lord Jacob. Although perhaps we do share some of the blame. By believing we had loyal subjects. We will need to make sure all of the guards, nobles and other Asgardians here are really loyal to you.

We don't need repeats of this. Someone out for their own power. Or allied with the Jotuns or the Rebellion. We have enough troubles without fighting within." said Johnny.

He grinned at Arion's next words.

"So you and John were having fun? I'd ask for your intentions but I can see you care for my son. But if you hurt him what happens to Lord Jacob will look like a vacation. Am I clear?" said Johnny.

He kept following the torch and soon he heard a voice and familiar laughter. As he got close he saw John and Jacob. He was about to rush forward but Hogun and Eugene stopped him. He sighed hearing Eugene and Hogun's protests.

"You are right. I wasn't thinking clearly. But how can we stop Jacob and save John?" said Johnny.

Lord Jacob grinned as he kept chanting as he walked up to John.

"Soon my prince we shall be together. And not even the king and his toy will stop me." said Jacob.

He paused as some of his alarms went off and he chuckled realizing some of the search parties had fallen into some of his traps.

"Perfect. That will buy me the time I need." said Jacob.

Unaware he was discovered he continued with his preparations.

John remained asleep as the magic coursed through him. He was unaware his love and parents were so close to him.

[Arion]

(OCC: So I'm assuming Arion will give true love's kiss to break Jacob's spell during the confrontation right? Then Loki gets to publically murder Jacob's ass)

Loki nodded to Johnny as he encouraged Arion then nodded to Johnny about finding out about loyal people "I suppose something like a assessment test might be in order. It is unfortunate to go to places like this. Thankfully I know quite a lot who ARE loyal. But there must be measures to be taken in my ranks to be sure loyalty is in check" He then eventually got to the room where jacob and john were. Loki listened to Hogun and Eugene and turned to Johnny "The two have a point I'm afraid. We must be cautious. This bastard might have everything planned out. For all we know he intended to do this a while ago" He sneered angrily as Jacob cackled "The minute I get my hands on this man, his head will be put on a silver platter" He then silently pondered. He then turned to Hogun with a smile "Jacob isn't the only trickster around here" He then silently made a spell to check on the hallway to see if there was a hallway trap and it turned out there was. So eugene and Hogun's suspicions were correct. Loki then sighed "Damn. There is a trap here"

He then turned to arion and shook his head "No if he sees you then he will know we're coming. We need to be less obvious. As brave as you are, we need to be smarter than that"

Arion turned to Johnny and was relieved the man didn't blame him for the events. He then gulped a little as Johnny somewhat threatened him. Arion nodded "I have no negative intentions your majesty. I do care about your son. I'd do anything for him. Even give my life" He then followed the group and saw the hallway was indeed a trap. He sighed "The trap must be pulled for us to go through" He then bravely replied "I shall do it. It's the only way between us" He then got a little frustrated "But we're running out of time my lord, who knows what he's doing to John!"

[Eugene "Flash" Thompson]

(ooc: yep. tlk between arion and john. as for loki that's only if johnny doesn't get to him first. or can do it together. Bonding Exercise? xD)

Johnny sighed.

"Good. This will not happen again. This time was my son. Next time what if they took me? My powers don't always work right lately and as long as I'm pregnant I'm more vulnerable.

Suddnely he saw Jacob coming out with John. When he heard his words his whole body ignited.

"That's it. He's dead." said Johnny.

Unfortunately the lfames set off some alarms.

"I'll be the distraction. Save our son." said Johnny.

He turned and flew out of the room luring out a few guards Jacob had taken control of.

Hogun and Eugene both nodded.

"Let me go. Stealth is one of my specialties. If he has any alarms set off he may know Loki or Johnny is here. But I might be able to sneak up on him or at least get us more information. If necessary perhaps Eugene and I could also be a diversion to lure Jacob away. Or distract him while the rest of you make a move for John." said Hogun.

"Whatever you guys need I'll help." said Eugene.

John meanwhile was asleep and silent.

Jacob grinned.

"Very Good. The ritual is working. Soon we shall be wed and all the nine realms will be mine. Although kepeing you around as my own consort. Only I'll probably just keep you tied to my bed." said Jacob.

The alarms rang.

"I was followed? Take them out!" said Jacob.

He snapped his fingers summoning some guards he'd hypnotized earlier.

"Destroy the intruder!" said Jacob.

[Loki]

(OCC: The couple that kills together stays together. Also this is the best I can do I'm so sorry)

Loki nodded to johnny's words then heard Jacob comment about making John just his sex slave tied to his bed. Anger and hate filled him up just as fast as it did johnny. Forget torture, this man was going to die right here right now. Loki turned to Hogun and Eugene seeing Johnny volunteered himself to handle the guards which left jacob thankfully in the open. Loki replied "Hogun you and eugene shall distract jacob and attack him at all points we do not have much time the spell is in effect. Arion and I shall go try to release John and get him out of here. Quickly. We're running out of time" He then deliberately put a spell up to help arion and himself not be seen and as they left he turned to hogun and replied "Do whatever you can to make sure he does not look at john, fight him, kill him if you must. The end goal is to get john out of here safely and let him be set free" With that he and arion went off.

Arion was terrified for John's safety and tears of anxiety spread as jacob made a note to keep john tied forever to his bed. That was no life for his loved one. He couldn't lose john to this disgusting creep. Arion was a bit shocked at the fast pace everyone was going but he made no objections to what loki suggested. It seemed like a great idea plus arion had some tricks up his sleeve to help john. Arion got a bit impulsive and went a bit faster than loki, he thought to himself worriedly Please. Please let this all work. I gotta save him I gotta save him

[Eugene "Flash" Thompson]

Johnny flew back in sure the noisse would alert him and then froze seeing the kiss as his whole body went ablaze forgetting they were in stealth.

"Get off my son!" said Johnny.

He flew into the air lunging at Jacob but was taken by surprise as John threw chains around him. To his surprise ice flew out of them like it was a fire extingquisher as Johnny fell to the ground, shivering and depowered.

"What have you done to me?" asked Johnny.

He gasped as the dome surrounded him and he shivered again.

"Loki. Save him. Save our boy." said Johnny.

He passed out unable to stand the cold.

(ooc: Don't worry he's ok. just wanted to find a way to write him out of the fight for a little and increase the stakes. loki's probably going to snap with john and johnny in danger. don't envy jacob xD)

Hogun and Eugene nodded. They only watched in shock as Johnny snapped and went after Jacob. They both ran to bakc him up firing blasters but froze at what happened to Johnny. They rushed forward trying to free Johnny when a dome surrounded Johnny blocking them from getting in.

"Hang on sire. We'll get you out." said Hogun.

Hogun paused hearing everyone else and grinned.

"Eugene is right. You screwed up the moment you took Prince John. Capturing King Johnny only makes it worse. There's no way out for you." sad Hogun.

Eugene turned to Jacob and chuckled.

"You think not killing Johnny is going to earn you any favors? You kidnapped two members of the royal family and brainwashed one of them. You're going to die. I'd pity you but you brought this on yourself. The only question is do you want it long and painful or short and painful? Because the longer you drag this out the more likely it will be long and painful." said Eugene.

Jacob grinned as he walked up to John.

"Excellent. It's complete. How do you feel my love?" asked Jacob.

Jacob grinned returning the kiss.

"Good. I'm glad you slept well. Our wedding is going to start soon." said Jacob.

Jacob grinned as he'd already altered John's memories to a degree so the recent ones were more foggy but he'd believe whatever Jacob told him.

"They wouldn't approve but we will show them our love and they will only have to accept." said Jacob.

He paused seeing Johnny arrive.

"I told you they would try to stop us. All you can really count on is me." said Jacob.

Jacob chuckled.

"My new invention ice chains. Will keep you cool so you can't flame on. Although if I turn it down too low you'll become a popsicile." said Jacob.

When John protested he grabbed him pulling him into his arms.

"You dare defy me! Seems you need some more sleep." said Jacob.

Jacob turned the heat up on the dome a little.

"Don't worry. I won't let him die. At least not yet. No good as a hostage if he's dead." said Jacob.

Jacob laughed.

"You think you can stop me? I've just taken out the two pyromaniacs of your army. What can the rest of you possibly do?" asked Jacob.

He turned to John.

"Come. We need to go. Time to get to that wedding." said Jacob.

John sat up as his eyes glowed blue.

"Good. You were right. I did need some sleep." said John.

John stood up stretching his body. He walked up kissing Jacob on the lips. John pulled back and nodded.

"You're right. The wedding. I wish my fathers could be there." said John.

John nodded.

"All I can count on you is you Jacob. I can't trust anyone else." said John.

He grabbed some chains and threw them as they wrapped around Johnny.

John's eyes flickered as Jacob threatened Johnny.

"Don't hurt him!" said John.

He gasped as Jacob grabbed him. John's eyes returned to blue as he nodded.

"You're right. The wedding." said John.

[Loki]

(OCC: Couldn't resist replying immediately. I couldn't resist starting the process of leading to arion and john's kiss. After a post or two imma do the kiss of spell breaking if ya want lmao. Also yeah, papa loki is pissed, hope this is written okay. I just want jacob and loki to fight and jacob to shit himself)

Loki was horrified to see he was too late as his son acted completely under jacob's power. A icy rage filled him up and just as he was about to charge he saw johnny, the fiance and mother of his children, trapped in a dome. And it was cold. He was trapped. Everything seemed to be falling apart. His family was being taken from him without actually being taken from him completely. Forget the kingdom. His son and love were all that mattered.

Loki. Save him. Save our boy

Rage unlike any other filled the god. It reminded him of back in the days where he first discovered Thor betrayed him for Jane Foster. But this was a thousand times worse. Worse than anything he's felt before. Eugene, Arion, Hogun, even johnny were fiddle compared to his anger. Loki grabbed his staff and the room was surrounded by his magic, locking any escape routes for jacob and john. Loki growled at Jacob as he grabbed his son and Loki charged as jacob mentioned the wedding, doing his damn hardest to punch the ever loving shit out of jacob. He shoved John out of the way and shouted "ARION! Keep him away from Jacob you hear me?" Loki then grabbed his best sword and aimed it right at jacob's neck "You dare tell my son what to do? You dare tell my son to not speak on behalf of his father johnny? You dare harm King Johnny?! You dare kidnap and harm MY SON?! You will die a thousand deaths. You will die a million deaths before you will be sent to hell for what you did"

To put it lightly. Loki was angry. Hell half no fury to say the least. Loki, one way or another, was going to kill this man.

Arion was a bit frozen in horror. Like loki it felt like the world just crumbled as John brainlessly kissed Jacob. It wasn't his fault but it still hurt like a thousands suns burned him. Jacob was evil. Taking his love away from him like this. He was so frozen stiff he didn't know what to do. Arion couldn't help but finally remember where he was when jacob grabbed him and told him off for daring to come to johnny's defense "Leave him alone you bastard! Don't you dare tell him what to do! I won't take this anymore---" Suddenly as arion went to attack loki did it first, grabbing john and giving him to arion. Arion pulled john away and replied, tears streaming down his face replying "John please listen to us. That man is lying to you. He's trying to take you away and hurt you. Please my love. Please listen to reason. Don't listen to his lies!"

[Eugene "Flash" Thompson]

Hogun and Eugene ran with Arion over to John after Loki separated him from Jacob.

"Eugene, Arion. Get John out of here. Loki can handle the traitor. I'm going to try to free Johnny. Don't let John out of your site. No matter what." said Hogun.

He charged towards the cage swinging his sword at it trying to break it. It did open for a moment but Johnny was moving too slowly. So he jumped in pushing Johnny out but it sealed around him as he realized in his haste he'd dropped the sword. He pounded on it as he felt himself shiver not sure how long he'd last.

He turned to Eugene and Arion.

"Get him out of here!" said Hogun.

He turned back to Loki.

"It was an honor to fight by your side my king." said Hogun, before he passed out.

He turned at the others.

Eugene reacted in horror as Hogun shoved Johnny out of the cate getting trapped himself.

"HOGUN! NO!" said Eugene.

He paused with a frown realizing he was right. He glared at Jacob.

"If Hogun dies, no realm will save you from me." said Eugene.

He tossed John over his shoulder as he carried him away hoping Arion would follow as tears went down his cheek. Hogun had been one of the few friends he'd had here and now he might be gone.

"Damn you Jacob." said Eugene.

He was taken by surprise as the walls grew hands and grabbed Eugene pulling him to the wall as he dropped John and it felt like he was being choked.

"What's going on?" gasped Eugene.

John was more confused as he was separated from Jacob as his head felt a little funny. The further away from Jacob the weaker his hold became as he glanced at Arion confused.

"Do I know you?" asked John.

He paused at his words.

"Your love? But I'm marrying Jacob." said John.

He was taken by surprise as he heard a crack seeing Hogun shove Johnny out before it closed behind him.

"DAD!" said John, seeing an unconscious Johnny lying on the floor.

He was taken by surprise as Eugene tossed him over the shoulder.

"Let me go. I have to finish my wedding. No. I have to help my fathers." said John.

His head began hurting and then suddenly he was on the ground as he the walls grabbing Eugene.

"Eugene! Hang on!" said John.

He searched for his lighter finding it in his pocket as he threw it at the hands blowing them up sending them both crashing to the ground.

"Oh my head." said John.

He paused looking at Arion.

"You feel familiar to me but we've never met. Right?" said John, still feeling confused.

Jacob frowned as John was pulled away from him.

"No one takes what's mine!" said Jacob.

His eyes glowed blue creating some wall arms to try to stop them from getting away. He was surprised though that Hogun had freed Johnny.

"How quaint. You may lose your fiance and your friend. The friend you tossed aside years ago and then enslaved. Guess people are just dying to get away from you. "said Jacob.

He knew Loki was angry but he wasn't even a real Asgardian. He was just a Frost Giant. A monster that needed to be destroyed in his eyes.

"Time to finish what your brother started all those years ago. First you and your weakling of a brother and my competition Arion. Then the rest of those Jotun scum wiped away leaving only Asgardians in this realm. I'll banish the mortals back to Earth. They don't belong here. Well except John. He'll make a fun trophy." said Jacob.

He was a bit overconfident but surely no one could defeat him.

(ooc: Jacob's still a tad overconfident at first but once loki really shows off his powers jacob might get scared. and couldn't help raise the stakes of both johnny, hogun and john all in danger to a degree. and then threatening evan to boot. he's pushing loki's buttons and isn't going to realize it until it's too late.

[Arion]

(OCC: No problem. Hope you don't mind arion and loki successfully keeping john away. It'll lead to the kiss. Also hope you don't mind I cause loki to laugh and go with this routine. I want loki to be scary looking and start of jacob getting pretty aware that he fucked up. Big time)

Loki used a protection spell on himself to prevent jacob from hurting him while simultaneously keeping a low barrier on john and arion. He couldn't keep up with everyone but he had enough power to primarily at least keep John away from the influence jacob put on him. He turned to see hogun passed out and widened his eyes in horror as both he and johnny seemed to pass out, their lives hanging in the balance. He chanted a bit to make the barrier for john and arion to be even stronger and it overall succeeded. Thankfully eugene was distracting it long enough so that the barrier for arion and john could be stronger. And it was. Jacob would learn this eventually. Loki then growled "Yours? Last time I checked, my son is no prize. Especially not to be won by someone as slimy and lecherous as you!" Loki's rage was flowing like a river. It was only a matter of time that it would proceed with another burst. A burst that would flood the whole room, killing anyone and anything in it's path.

Then it happened. Jacob said the right things to push loki overboard. It was overboard before but now it was too far. Far too late to beg for forgiveness or even have a minute of prayer. Loki started to smile darkly at the dark and rude pun jacob made about how people were 'dying' to get away. Then jacob had the gall to mention his past, about his brother. Claiming he was going to finish what he started and take the kingdom as his, along with kill anyone who stopped him including Evan, arion and of course Loki. Then he would banish the mortals away, which meant johnny would be lost to him. He froze a bit, a tad lost in what to do. Then he laughed, laughed harder and louder than he laughed in his life. But it wasn't true laughter. It wasn't even happy. It was murderous. Angry. Insane. The madness of loki was hidden underneath the love he had for his family and friends. All it took was a idiot to poke it.

And Jacob poked it. Loki grabbed his staff and spoke old norse, older than odin himself. Odin tended to forget that Loki was a person who craved knowledge beyond his years. Particularly in magic. And loki was a amazing learner. As he chanted, a protective wall came and practically rose to a temperature safe for hogun and johnny, preventing them from dying or getting really sick. Then a loud rumble came into play, causing the hands to most likely let go of eugene's throat. Then he stopped chanting, his eyes glowing a very dark red, almost blood-like and his teeth were somewhat demonic, they looked similar to lion's teeth. But this was a illusion, it was to intimidate the enemy a bit, to give them a warning that the enemy better surrender or perish. Or at least show them a nightmare image. Loki's voice was different also, it was similar to before but it had a very sinister edge to it, almost demonic in nature. He replied, his voice low and oppressive "You say you are going to finish what my brother started? Well you forget that the incident was years ago. He has changed. And so have I. I am not some little boy you can scare anymore. But you may be right about one thing. I'm just a monster. Let me show you how monsters deal with other monsters" Loki then stepped forward, racing to grab Jacob, then threw him across the wall, he then raised his hand, a power ball of dark red energy coming to aim right at jacob.

Arion was worried about hogun himself but he was too focused on John's safety to focus. But he understood eugene's concern. He ran alongside eugene, getting behind eugene in case jacob had funny ideas. But it seemed jacob was always one step ahead. As eugene was grabbed and hands were grabbing at the boy. Arion panicked, pulling john away and saw that the spell was started to fade away. The farther he was from jacob the weaker the spell was. Arion knew that john needed to be away from jacob, now more than ever. It explained quite a lot of why jacob was so nervous that john was away from him physically. Arion turned to john and saw the poor boy grasp for straws, his memory shattered by the spell. Arion held his hands tightly and replied softly "No my love. We have met. You just don't remember. Jacob has poisoned your mind. Making you believe things that are false" He pulled john further away, relieved that loki had a barrier around them. He then noticed jacob threaten him and pulled john close to him, feeling a bit of his own anger boil up. Arion held john protectively and snapped "You will do no such thing! I will NEVER let you touch him again! Ever!"

He then saw loki laugh and display his powers in great detail. This was quite amazing, it would've been at least were it not a dangerous and scary way loki did it. However, arion pulled john's attention away from that, wanting to somewhat protect loki's reputation from john and replied to him "Listen to me john. I'm Arion. Your real fiance. I know he told you things but they aren't true. You did not want to marry him and he captured you just now to make you his forced bride. But I'm here for you and I won't let you get hurt by that man. I love you too much to let him hurt you" Arion held his hands tightly replying "You'll be safe soon my love. Just try to remember. I know the memories are there" He then looked to john's eyes seeing nothing but confusion and struggle. Arion pondered on what exactly to do.

[Eugene "Flash" Thompson]

Hogun and Johnny both lay unconscious unable to do anything. They were safe from immediate danger at the mo ment.

Eugene kept fighting the walls as a barrier surrounded John and Arion.

"At least the prince is safe." said Eugene.

He felt tbe walls stop as he saw the attack strike Jacob. He had to focus completely on Loki or he wasn't going to make it. This freed Eugene. He rushed over checking on Hogun and Johnny as he knew Arion would take care of John. He dragged Hogun over to the unconscious king checking their pulses. He called out to both John and Loki.

"They are still alive just unconscious. Please finish this quickly my king. Your family has suffered enough today. The only one who should suffer is him!" said Eugene.

He paused grabbing a dagger and tossing itg at Jacob.

Then suddenly the spell was broken and John was storming over to Jacob. He heard his shouting as he began throwing fire at him.

"Memo to myself. Don't make the royal family mad. They're all pretty scary." said Eugene, thinking out loud.

Jacob was a little nervous at Loki's reaction. He frowned seeing Arion was protected but Eugene was free but distracted. As the dagger came towards him Eugene deflected it with a blsat of magic.

"You think you can defeat me with dagger tossing?" mocked Jacob.

He focused back on Loki.

"Well, you know what they say about monsters. They need to be put down." said Jacob.

He saw the ball of dark red energy aimed at him.

"Oh dear. Looks like you've got the upper hand. Or have you ...." said Jacob.

He smirked waving his hand showing images of Thor, guards, and others searching for the prince.

"Seems good help is so hard to find. They'll be lucky if they survive my traps. I guess you're going to lose a member of your family. Your children, your living furnace boy toy.... or the brother you discared like trash. Oh wait. I almost forgot Prince Evan. After all, I'm the one who arranged his poisoning. It's only a shame he survived it." said Jacob.

He gasped as he turned in horror to hear John.

"They're twisting everything. We're in love!" said Jacob.

He watched in horror as the couple kissed breaking the last of his spells as John broke the barrier and charged at him throwing fireballs at him. Jacob gasped dodging them as John was aiming them at his feet.

John was looking at Arion confused.

"Love? But I love...."

He clutched his head as he was having flashes of both Jacob and Arion as he held his head.

"My head. Things are so confusing." said Jacob.

He then heard Eugene cry out that Johnny was okay.

"Dad's okay. And my siblings and Hogun!" said John, feeling relieved.

His attention turned to see Loki fight Jacob as Jacob's words reached him.

"You poisoned Uncle Evan? But that doesn't make any sense. We...."

He paused turning to Arion.

"My real fiance? I'm a prisoner?" asked John.

He paused as the thought occurred to him. Spells were broken by kisses in the fairy tales. If he was under something maybe a kiss couldn't hurt. He wasn't sure he wanted to be near someone who'd hurt his family. He glared at Jacob feeling hatred for him which felt oddly familiar and comforting.

"The wedding's off you monster! I'd never marry anyone who hurt and threatened my family!" said John.

He paused turning back to Arion.

"If you are really my fiance and he's done something to me by magic. Maybe a kiss would help? On Earth or Midgard, there are stories of true love's kiss breaking spells and curses. You feel familiar and I'm having flashes of things that happened but I don't remember it at the same time. I just need to know." said John.

As he reached forward he kissed Arion on the lips. As he did so the spell on him broke as all his memories came flooding back as he wrapped his arms around Arion with a grin. He pulled away lowering his eyes as he felt guilty.

"You are my fiance. Arion. .I can't believe I forgot you." said John.

He was now in tears as he pulled a lighter out of his face tossing a fireball breaking the barrier in that moment as he stormed over to Jacob. and Loki.

"HOW DARE YOU DO THIS TO ME AND MY FAMILY?!" shouted John.

He kept forming fireballs and throwing them at Jacob pushing him to and away from Loki's own attack.

"Let's see if you can dance!" said John.

(ooc: couldn't resist John getting a little ticked off. Loki can have the final kill/attacks. John just needs to vent. xd)

(OCC: John has every damn right to vent lmao but I hope this type of magical death is ok/cool, I kind of want Jacob to suffer myself)

Loki smirked right back, not concerned whether or not Jacob was scared now. If he wasn't now, he would be. Very soon. Loki cackled "I agree. Monsters need to be put down" He grabbed his spear and twirled it a bit, his demon blood red eyes looking right at Jacob "So let's put you out of your pathetic existance" He then listened, a bit irritated and enraged that Jacob somehow didn't get his hints that he was not going to live. But as Jacob explained that not only was he responsible for john's capture, he was responsible for his brother evan's poisoning and that he was now trying to kill his servants and adopted brother. It made him feel a lot of regret for thor. Once this was over he was going to change his mindset on thor. He was still going to have many servants but thor was most likely going to have his status returned once he and loki had a chance to reconcile. Loki realized that in order to fix all his wrongdoings, he had to fix this. Now.

Jacob was his personal test to prove once and for all that he was meant to be king. And more important meant to be the husband, parent and family member he was supposed to be. He would destroy his demon. Literally. Loki heard Eugene's words, as if to snap him out of his thoughtful mood. Loki rearranged some attacks and replied to Jacob "Be silent you bastard. Be silent. You will pay for every single wrong doing you have done or are attempting to do. Eugene is right. The only one who deserves to suffer is you!" He then turned to see his son snap out of Jacob's spell and assist him by aiming fireballs at him. He allowed his son to have his fun before grabbing Jacob while he was distracted.

He put Jacob to a wall and grabbed his more personal dagger, one with many runes, including the one of thor, it was his more personal favorite dagger Frigga gave to him when he was a teen. It was to show Jacob this was personal. That this was the last straw, with his lion like teeth and demon eyes, loki chuckled darkly "It is over Jacob. You have lost. And now you will pay for every crime that you have done against my family. More importantly my son" He chanted a bit and the dagger glowed a bright red, and he said in a low tone, his voice a bit otherworldly "Lord Jacob. Now. You will die, and your soul will now commence in eternal torment"

He stabbed Jacob a few times after he said this, he held Jacob's body still, wanting the man to feel the pain and not touch anyone or anything any longer. As he did one more stab, loki's face resumed to normal and he sneered at Jacob "It is one thing to try to kill me, I understand that, but taking my son and hurting those I love is unacceptable. I hope you die a thousand deaths. Rot in hell bastard"

Arion meanwhile was focused mostly on john. He held him away from Jacob and saw how confused, and how scared, john was. Arion nodded as john tried to make sense of it all "John. You know the truth. It is Jacob's magic that is making you confused. Try to fight it my love" He then listened as John confronted Jacob and he sneered as Jacob desperately tried to keep him "You monster! You do not love him! If you did you would have never poisoned Evan or try to kill us all you blasted fool!" Arion snapped finally, his anger seeping out some more. He then turned to eugene, relieved that he was overall safe and freed he replied to him "Thank goodness. We must get king johnny and hogun away from here!"

He then turned to john who said that perhaps a kiss would set things right. That there were stories of true love's kiss and that he had memories that he just couldn't reach. Arion was willing to try anything, so he replied "Than kiss me. Kiss me. I am yours" He allowed john to take his face and kiss him, smiling into the kiss, hoping that it would indeed help. With much joy and relief, the kiss definitely worked. John's eyes looked far clearer and far less confused. Arion hugged back, he then noticed john begin to cry, arion could tell john was going to beat himself up and he pulled john close to him "No. You did not forget me. You knew. You just needed to fight the magic and you did, my love" He then smirked as john went to attack Jacob. He got up and went to eugene as eugene made his comment. Arion laughed "Indeed. Like father like son I suppose" He then turned to john and cried out "Destroy him john! Make him pay!"

[Eugene "Flash" Thompson]

Jacob gasped as Loki stabbed him.

"Damn you. If I'm going down I won't go down alone." said Jacob.

His eyes glowed knowing he was no match for Loki but the others. He laughed throwing several balls of energy towards Hogun, Johnny, and John. Then more at Arion and Eugene.

"Maybe if you'll fast enough you'll save most of them." said Jacob.

He chuckled and breathed his final breath before collapsing to the ground.

Eugene gasped running towards Hogun and Johnny not having a shield of his own as he deflected two of the blasts with his sword but the third struck him in the chest as Eugene collapsed to th e ground next to them.

John looked back at Arion grateful to remember but still feeling guilty.

"I should have been stronger. I let him take you away from me and almost married the wrong man. I'm so sorry Arion." said John.

But it seemed Jacob had other plans. As Loki gave him a fatal blow Jacob gave his final speech and attack. John gasped seeing Eugene get hit protecting his family.

"Eugene! No!" said John.

He rushed forward just as a blast came flying at him. He threw a fireball at it destroying the blast but sent him flying backwards into a wall and to the ground as he groaned.

"Even in death he tries to hurt my family." said John.

He staggered to his feet as the dust and smoke settles as he looked around.

"Please let everyone be okay." whispered john.

Hogun sat up just as Eugene fell to the ground.

"Eugene!" said Hogun.

He rushed forward tearing his own shirt to try to patch up the wounds on Eugene's chest. It didn't look too bad but he wasn't a healer. Hopefully the medics or someone here could help him more.

Johnny groaned getting up and in the confusion the first think he saw was Loki and ran over to him giving him a kiss.

"Loki! You're okay. Where's John?" asked Johnny.

[Arion]

"Do not be sorry my love" Arion replied assuredly "It is not your fault. It was Jacob's magic" Arion then noticed Jacob aim blasts at everyone minus loki. He cried out "John wait!" Arion panicked and proceeded to race to john. He then saw a blast aim right at him and arion quickly jumped to deflect it, and he succeeded but he was thrown back by the force like john and fell hard to the ground. He shook his head and helped john up as the dust and whatnot cleared. He held john close, protectively "John it is alright, everything is going to be alright" He then helped john to the entire group and he replied to johnny's question despite it not being directed at him "He's with me your majesty! He's safe now sire!" He held john close and protectively

Loki snarled as Jacob attempted one last dirty trick and tried to stop it but he failed and he gasped as it aimed at his family. He cried out in horror as he then saw eugene manage to save his friend and love, but got the third one hard in the chest. He dropped Jacob's lifeless body and rushed out but then saw johnny awaken and run to him. Loki, relieved at johnny being alive, hugged and kissed him back. Loki was about to answer when arion answered johnny for him. He held johnny close and replied warmly "John is saved. As are the rest of us. Thanks to arion, hogun, you and...." He then widened his eyes and replied "Eugene!" He then pulled johnny with him as he went to eugene and saw hogun desperately trying to help.

Eugene was lucky, the blast did indeed prevent itself from getting to serious places, but it was still a serious injury. It wasn't horrible but it was bad. Loki replied to hogun "Hogun, friend, I need you to get me a healer. I shall use some of my magic to help eugene in the meantime" He then muttered some words, he had some healing powers to definitely help but eugene still would need some healer afterwards to be absolutely safe. He then replied softly to eugene "Eugene, I do not know if you can hear me, but you are a hero this day. And you will be saved and rewarded for it. This I promise as king" He then muttered some more and his magic managed to help his chest area a lot. He hoped his efforts did manage to help out.
