John smiled at Loki. "I'm starting to believe that. Before you and Johnny I didn't really have much a family. I guess part of me is afraid of losing it." said John. John's grin grew as Loki hugged him and John returned it perhaps a little too tightly. "Sometimes I think I grew up too fast. I never had much of a childhood." said John. John relaxed as Loki said punishments would be chores and grounding and John chuckled. "I never thought I'd be ever be grounded. Seems almost normal." said John. John grinned. "That'd be good. Although I hope that day never comes. I don't want to lose you." said John. John nodded. "We just have to remember not to eat too fast either. Or you'll get an ice cream headache." said John. |

"I understand that, but I will continue to help you believe that you are loved by both Johnny and myself" Loki insisted. He was glad he was gaining the boy's trust. He truly did care for the young man. He wasn't ever going to abandon John or Johnny because he truly cared about them like his own family. He then allowed the boy to hug him again, he didn't really mind the tightness of it. He then sighed softly, feeling bad for the young man "Well hopefully we can make up for it"
"Well that is if you misbehave, John" Loki chuckled, amused by the boy's comments about punishment. He then gave a affectionate look before patting the boy's shoulder "That will not happen. You will not lose me. Do not worry about that, my son" He did have a slight fear of getting hurt, if only for John's sake, but he doubted it. Only a stupid person would try to kill him when his back was turned. He laughed a little as John told him not to eat so fast or he'd get a headache "I believe that is good advice, my boy. Perhaps you could be my advisor someday" He then ate some more

John smiled. "I hope so. I really wanted a family for so long. A real family. Part of me's afraid to wake up and this will all be a dream." said John. John chuckled. "Well I guess I was kind of a troublemaker back at school. Pulling pranks and all. But I'll try to do better." said John. He really wanted his new parents to be proud of him. Johnny had barely known him before he'd taken him under his wing. And now Loki wanted to be his parent as well. "Maybe I could. There classes or books I could learn about that stuff?" asked John. |
