[Detective Mike Stone]

(ooc: January 4th. Afternoon.)

Mike arrived first holding a sword in his hand. He had been trying to get used to it the past couple days. Volstagg and Fandrall had offered to train him so he was nervous about fighting either one of them. They were both very skilled. And Bruce had promised not to back off and let him train. Mike was not going to let Bruce and the others try to protect him. Mike was not going to be some damsel in distress waiting for the hero to come save him. He wanted to learn how to fight and to protect himself. He wanted to be useful in this war.

Soma walked out next with a grin. She held a sword in her hand. Archery was her normal craft but she did learn how to fight with a sword. And she was told in this war swords would be used more often than bows and arrows. So she was here to train with a sword. Maybe help one of the rookies learn how to fight.

Piotr walked out next with a grin. Meeting Darcy a few days ago had been wonderful. It had felt like he was on cloud nine. His earlier breakup with Kitty was practically forgotten now. He did want Kitty and the other X-men to be safe but he wasn't pining after his ex-girlfriend anymore. He'd finally moved on. Darcy was a special woman and very beautiful. Sometimes he felt like he didn't deserve her. But she would always correct him. It was like she was psychic or something. It was a bit scary and exciting. He decided to train with a sword as well. He knew he couldn't always rely on his armor. After all Loki had magic and so could others. He'd never come up against magic before. Magic that could possibly damage or even deactivate his armor. So he had to be prepared for anything.

Ben walked out next with a grin. He would make sure to only fight one of the Asgardians or one of the Avengers. He wanted to fight someone who could handle his strength especially if he went all out. He didn't want to hurt anyone. He still felt bad for going after the queen like that. She'd forgiven him and even the other Asgardians had come around eventually. He sighed hoping he could control his anger. He didn't want to end up hurting one of his friends in battle. If it hadn't been for Steve he wasn't sure if he could have survived the past couple days. He owed that guy a lot.

[Fandral]

"There he is, he's ready and able!" Volstagg said as he and fandral were on their way to go train. Fandral had his sword while Volstagg had his battle axe. Fandral, seeing Mike's nervousness responded as he patted the young man's back "Don't worry my boy, you'll be good as us soon enough. We'll go easy on you"

"For now" Volstagg teased, giving Mike a wink to imply he was just kidding. This caused Fandral to glare at the other man. Volstagg rolled his eyes "Oh bite me fandral, the boy knows I'm just being fun"

"If I bit you, you would taste like a old piece of bread, volstagg" Fandral snorted and volstagg was about to punch him when Fandral pointed to mike, and volstagg nodded remembering that they were training him.

Calvin didn't know why but Soma was his first pick to chit-chat and train with. Call him crazy, and you'd be right, but he wanted to get to know her above the rest. He was new just as much as she was but something about her was wise, or well-trained. He gulped, thinking to act cool and be cool. He fixed his hair, gave a big grin and went over "Heya prett--" He then saw her with a sword and realized that maybe flirting someone with a weapon made the game far, far more dangerous. So he decided to be much less flirtatious and more casual "Pretty uh sword you got there!" He said, deliberately covering himself up "I'm Calvin... Wanna train with me? Uh that is if you don't mind. I got a good sword too, I mean I'm not good AT sword yet but I can try" Oh yeah. Really smooth. Calvin blushed at the very thought of being stupid in front of this woman.

"Well you look like you just won the lottery kid" Tony said, in his iron man suit. Although Piotr said something about taking a break, Tony himself wasn't. He was one of the leaders here. He had no time to relax. But that didn't stop him from still being rather humorous with his other allies. I mean he was in charge but funny stuff was funny stuff and he wasn't a stick in the mud like Steve sometimes was. Piotr didn't have to fight with him but talking to him would give a indication and invitation to spar with the leader of the pack... Well one of them. He saw Piotr above the rest because he could make his body turn into metal. That caught interest in the engineer's mind. He remembering this "cloud nine" stage when he met pepper from his capture, it didn't lead to anything but it started it.

Bruce was unsure how to approach Ben. It would lead to a fight that would not be played for practice. He felt like to become allies for sure, Bruce did have to talk to him one way or another. Besides Mike was right, he needed to accept his other side in order to accept ben's physique. So he did his best to give a good, nice grin and went over to the rock man. He went over and said "Hi there. I don't believe we ever got a chance to officially meet" He offered his hand as a token of pleasant greeting "Bruce banner. A pleasure"

[Soma]

Mike grinned as Volstagg and Fandral joined him.

"Thank you again for agreeing to teach me. So do I need to call you sensei or something?" said Mike.

He was grinning showing he was kidding slightly but he wanted to respect his new teachers. And they had a different culture than him so he wanted to be sure he didn't offend his new "brothers." He'd said once he thought of them like brothers and he'd sort of become the unofficial fourth member of the Warriors Three. He knew he was just a temporary replacement but it was nice to train and work with these guys. He glanced at him and grinned.

"Well you two have trained for centuries. I don't think I have that long to get to you. Plus I'd probably die when I get around 100 so I'll just have to be good. Even half as great as the two of you would be good enough for me." said Mike.

He chuckled as they kept bantering.

"I thought you supposed to train me. Not fight each other." teased Mike.

Soma saw Calvin and smiled. She saw his slip up and smirked. He was kinda of cute. She was trying to figure how to approach him since he'd showed up. But he'd approached her first.

"Oh so you think my sword is pretty? Should I leave you two alone then?" asked Soma.

She chuckled and nodded when he asked if she wanted to train with him.

"Sure. Let's train." said Soma.

Piotr looked up seeing Tony and blushed realizing he'd been caught in his thoughts.

"I've been seeing Darcy. I know she's older than me but you couldn't tell by her looks. She's funny, sarcastic, and smart. I just want to know more about her." said Piotr.

He saw Tony was in his Iron Man suit. Piotr grinned as his whole body turned mettalXlic.

"Want to train together? I'm probably one of the few you'd least likely to hurt. Although you might not want to use any of your fancy guns or missiles. They'd just ricochet off me or I'd dodge them. Either way someone else could get hurt." said Piotr.

Ben paused looking up as Bruce showed up. He smiled at him and shook Bruce's hand.

"Nice to meet Bruce. I'm Ben Grimm. Or you might heard of my other name. The Thing." said Ben.

[Calvin Remen(Forest)]

"Sensei? What in the nine realms is that name?" Volstagg objected which made Fandral laugh. Volstagg was confused with certain cultures and didn't tend to study other cultures, his focuses were more on food and training.

"The midgardians from Japan, I believe it's called, call a teacher or master that name, friend. And no, mike you don't have to call us that" Fandral said, more intelligent and aware of Mike's joke. When realizing the joke, Volstagg also laughed "Ah! You will become a fine and valliant warrior young mike! Your humor will get you anywhere!" The two smiled at their new student, ready to teach as the man was ready to learn.

"Exactly volstagg, control your temper" Fandral said, which caused Volstagg to nearly punch him out of spite but decide not to. Fandral grabbed his sword and responded "Alright my young student, you will start with the offensive. You shall now be permitted to attack me"

"No I'd actually be bored with her. I prefer to talk to you" Calvin teased back, grinning automatically liking this woman. She was definitely pretty but now he found out she had a sense of humor. He liked someone who had a good sense of humor. He was also slightly relieved that she caught his slip up and wasn't upset by it. He then pondered "What's your name? You're not gonna introduce yourself? Pfft. Rude" He grinned cheekily, giving a strong hint that he was simply joking.

Then he got a sword and responded "You ever been to earth before? Heard you came from Asgard or something?"

"One word: Scheduling. Get some time with her, plan something and surprise her. Chicks tend to dig a planned event. It means that the guy gives a damn" Tony said, a smile on his face, impressed with this young man "Hey. I'm no ageist. If she's got good looks and a personality that isn't paper-thin I'm game too. But I'm taken and it's nice to see that you've got a chick you really like" He then saw the man become metallic and grinned. Oooh this was going to be fun

"Yeah that's true. I AM more impressive than a few people here" He said that for only Piotr, and made sure no one heard that. Because nobody really tended to enjoy being spat on by their leader. He then got his mask on and it glowed and in the suit tony responded "Hit me with your best shot kid" He then whispered to JARVIS "Ready there JARVIS?"

Yes sir. Piotr is on the offensive. And, as usual, you are the defense. Good luck, you may need it JARVIS replied

[Soma]

(ooc: you forgot bruce last time so i'll skip ben this time.)

Mike grinned at Volstagg's confusion and Fandral explaining it.

"Ok. Good to know." said Mike.

He blushed slightly at the praise. His relationship with his father had been rocky lately and it had been so long since someone had believed he could do anything. He wanted to impress them both and do the best he could.

"I hope so. Well with great teachers like you I'm sure I'll be good in no time." said Mike.

He chuckled as they continued bantering before the training seemedto start. He nodded as Fandral told him to attack him.

"Okay. Here I go." said Mike.

Mike charged at Fandrall swinging his sword at the Asgardian warrior.

Soma grinned at her.

"That's good to hear. Well I usually like to do a lot more than talking with a guy. Maybe we could grab a drink or something afterwards." said Soma.

She smirked at him.

"I'm Soma. One of the queen's bodyguards." said Soma.

She shook her head.

"This is my first visit to Earth. It's a shame it's been damaged so much in the takeover. I'd have loved to see more of this world but it's too late now." said Soma.

She grinned and charged at him swinging her sword at his as they clashed.

Piotr grinned.

"That's perfect. I'll do that. You certainly know your stuff Mr. Stark." said Piotr.

He grinned again as Tony didn't judge him.

"Thanks for not judging. I know there's not many people here. I guess people are going to judge us no matter what. But as long as I have Darcy to hell with the world you know." said Piotr.

He chuckled at Tony's words.

"You certainly are." said Piotr.

He smirked charging at Tony swinging a punch at his suit. Not sure how much damage the suit could take. But also grateful he could go all out and not hurt Tony personally either.

Volstagg and Fandral noticed that Mike was pleased/flattered when praised. Normally people acknowledge it or thank them, instead he blushed. The two shared a curious glance before focusing once more on fighting. Volstagg stood aside as Fandral got his sword while Mike ran towards the said fandral. Fandral, meanwhile, grabbed his sword and charged in return and both clashed swords quickly. Fandral laughed cheerfully, for he believed training should be fun as well as helpful and so he gently tried pushing Mike off with his sword. "Now you must remember, young mike, that no matter what happens, you must always keep or have a weapon! Is that clear?"

"A girl who wants to do more than talk with a guy and actually be fun? You had me at hello!" Calvin teased again, seeing the girl respond positively to his actions. He then grinned at the response of her name "Soma... Wow. That's a very pretty name" He meant it too. He never heard of such a name and he was incredibly interested in it. But maybe back on asgard it was a common name. Asgardians were weird.

"Yeah. It sucks. I think you'd like Hawaii or somethin" He then saw her charge and he was slightly shocked before quickly clashing back. He would do swordsmanship for now but he felt a temptation to show her what he could really do. Shapeshift into animals. He was really tempted. But he could wait a little

"Hey. They don't call me the playboy for nothin'. It's the least I can do, give wisdom onto you youngins" He made a fake old-man voice as he said the words "you youngins" and grinned teasingly. He then shrugged as Piotr. thanked him for his lack of judgement "Dude. I'm a very powerful man, I have a lot of people I've met throughout the years who were not the most normal of people. One of my best friends turns into a green angry machine, you really think a kid who goes all metal... Literally, can be so disturbing to be shunned? Besides, you're right. To hell with the rest of the world so long as you got someone you care about"

"Yep, yep" Tony said, chuckling under his suit. He then suddenly was punched at and the suit did bounce back. Tony grinned under the suit "Oh this is going to be fun!" He then flew and kicked Piotr, due to being someone not sure to blast him. If Piotr. could handle more than punches, blasts would be needed but he didn't want to harm Piotr despite this being training.

"I've heard of that other name and your reputation. You're a great hero, sir" Bruce said, trying to be friendly as possible. Yet he felt worried that he could say something wrong at any time. Seeing the display from their first meeting, well most heroes meeting, the man before him had a very short temper. He wasn't scared of ben, he just wanted to be on ben's good side for the sake of making the concept of being on a huge team easier. He then asked "So? Would you like to start training with me? I need a sparring partner"

[Detective Mike Stone]

Mike grinned as his sword clashed with Fandral so he was doing okay so far. He had a feeling they were holding back a lot as this was just trainnig after all.

"This isn't as bad as I thought it'd be. I mean it's not easy but I think I could get the hang of this." said Mike.

When Fandrall tried shoving his weapon Mike pulled back out of Fandral's grasp and heard his advice.

"Crystal clear." said Mike.

Soma grinned at him.

"I may be a warrior but that's not all we did up there in Asgard. We definitely knew how to party." said Soma.

She grinned as he praised her name.

"Well thank you. I've never been told that before." said Soma.

Soma looked at him curious.

"What is this Hawaii?" asked Soma.

Soma grinned as he charged back as their swords clashed. She was ipressed with him.

"Not bad for a Midgardian. I look forward to seeing what else yiou can do." said Soma.

Piotr grinned.

"Then I hope you don't mind if I come to for advice in the future. I haven't really done much dating before Darcy and I don't want to screw it up." said Piotr.

Piotr chuckled as he heard Tony's explanation.

"When you put it like that I had nothing to worry about." said Piotr.

He grinned as Tony agreed with his to hell with the rest of the world as long sa they were together. Then they were fighting as he saw Tony bounce backwards from the punch.

"You ok? I hope I didn't over do it." asked Piotr.

But then Tony flew forward and kicked him sending Piotr crashing to the ground. He chuckled getting to his feet.

"I guess your suit's tougher than I thought. I look forward to seeing what else you can do." said Piotr.

He grinned and then charged at Tony swinging a kick at his left arm this time.

Ben nodded as Bruce said he'd heard of him.

"Thanks. And I think you're a good hero too. The world sees us both as monsters at times but we both have our curses in a way. I'm stuck like this while you turn into a monster you can't control. But at least you can turn back. I envy that." said Ben.

Ben paused at the question.

"Alright but let me know if it gets too intense for you. I might be able to handle Hulk but he may not be in the training mood."said Ben.

[Fandral]

"The boy's a quick listener. He'll do great, won't he, Fandral?" Volstagg asked from the sidelines. He crossed his arms and smiled almost similarly to a proud father. He was impressed with this human. Mike was a good listener and seemed to always want to improve.

Fandral meanwhile nodded to volstagg before watching Mike for anything. Fandral then responded "Alright. Now come at me again. And this time, be a little more harder with me. We do need to get more challenging as this goes along!" He waited for Mike to come. The blond asgardian thought of how he used to be taught. His teacher was patient and therefore Fandral himself was patient.

"I'd kill to have a party up there then. Sounds like the best" Calvin smiled. He then was glad for her to take his sincere response seriously. He then pondered "Well maybe you should be told more. Cause it's a nice name. Better than Calvin. It sounds like that kid you're destined to be annoyed with" He shrugged at that. Calvin then gasped "Hawaii is like a paradise, it has pineapples, beaches and great hotels. Been there once when I was a kid, it was fun"

"Here's a question. Does anyone shapeshift into animals where you come from? Is it weird for asgardians?" He wouldn't show off his powers so soon. But he wanted to see how she would respond. That way he would know whether to ease her in or just outright show her. He clashed swords more with her and was glad he was impressing her. One way ticket to a hot warrior babe, Calvin thought to himself.

"Kid, I'd rather HAVE someone ask for advice for me on dating. What better source of dating advice than the playboy himself? Well I mean I used to be a big one but I'm changing that lifestyle. Since I have a girl of my own now" Well, that made it sting a little. He DID but the problem was he couldn't find her yet. She was either missing, captured or dead and the latter two were the worst possible outcomes for her. Pitor then made him smile as he said that with Tony's logic there was nothing to be worried about.

"This suit can handle a lot kid. Don't hold back" Tony responded. He got into a defensive stance as Pitor got up from his attack and was ready to fight. JARVIS meanwhile as he saw Pitor go for his left arm responded Left arm in range, sir. He's rather fast Tony rolled his eyes underneath the mask and shielded himself. He then shoved Pitor away. He kept hesitating to use his blast reactors.

Bruce cringed a little as Ben said he was indeed envious of him. That he could at least turn back and that bruce wasn't damned to have the same face all the time. Bruce nodded "I understand completely. I am trying to find a cure for myself but I also wanted to let you know I wish to help you in someway. I want you to keep your powers but look human again. I'm working hard on that as well as other projects. I thought you'd be interested" He hoped he didn't activate something angry in Ben. The last thing he wanted was to make Ben angry or hate him. Bruce had enough enemies and this team needed as much closeness as they could get.

Bruce nodded completely, adding a nice smile as Ben said to let him know if he got too intense. Bruce grabbed some weaponry and awaited for Ben to come attack him. He hoped if Hulk showed up, he would be nice

[Detective Mike Stone]

Mike grinned at the praise as they talked about him.

"I hope I will. But this is my first lesson so let's not get too ahead of ourselves." said Mike.

Mike nodded as Fandral told him to come at him again.

"You got it." said Mike.

He swung his sword at him aiming for his sword in a wild attempt to disarm him. After all he figured even if his opponent was stronger or more skilled in him in battle. It wouldn't do them any good if they didn't have a weapon.

Soma looked sad at that and nodded.

"Yeah. It was." said Soma.

Things had happened so fast. First the attack, then being separated from the queen and everyone else. Now they were here and she'd been focused on trying to get Saga to lighten up and to admit her feelings for Fandrall. But talking about Asgard now just made he realized how homesick she really was. And how she might not be there for a long time. And she wondered what changes Loki was doing to it. She focused back on Calvin and grinned as he spoke again.

"Thank you. And I like your name. It's unique. Just like you." said Soma.

She listened as he spoke about Hawaii.

"Hawaii sounds like Valhalla. Do people go there to die?" said Soma.

To a warrior like herself paradise meant going to the afterlife. But him saying he'd been there once confused her.

"You died and came back to life? I wasn't aware Midgardians had that power." said Soma.

Soma shook her head.

"The only one who really could shapeshift that I'm aware of was Loki. He did turn into animals sometimes." said Soma.

She grinned as their swords clashed as they fought. She was already becoming impressed with the man and part of her wanted to end this training early and have some fun with him. But she knew they needed to prepare everyone here especially those with less experience than the Asgardians or or super heroes.

Piotr grinned at Tony.

"Then I'm really glad to talk to you. Maybe you should write a book. Show off some of your moves or lines. Then again not everyone would be able to pull it off. Especially if it needs the Tony Stark charm." said Piotr.

He nodded as Tony told him to not hold back.

"Alright. Just promise me that if you fire any blasts or anything 4else at me that you have a way to destroy them. Especially if you miss or I dodge it. What would feel like nothing to us could hurt someone else. I don't want anyone else to get hurt." said Piotr.

He then charged at Tony and frowned as Tony shoved him back.

"You've got pretty good reflexes. Impressive." said Piotr.

He then charged at him again swinging a few punches at his chest.

Ben noticed Bruce cringe and he smiled.

"Hey don't feel bad. It's neither of our faults. You were trying to create another Captain America. Reed, Sue, Johnny and I were just supposed to be looking at a cloud from the safety of the base. Things went wrong. It's accidents. I don't want you to feel bad for what happened to me. I've had enough of pity and fear thrown at me since this happened. I just want to live my life and maybe one day be human again." said Ben.

Ben smiled at him as he said he was trying to find a cure for them.

"That's the problem though. Hulk and Thing aren't a disease you can cure. They're parts of us. And like it nor the world needs The Hulk and The Thing. Especially now with the world in ruins and with Loki in control." said Ben.

Ben paused as Bruce grabbed some weapons and Ben nodded.

"Alright. But if Hulk comes out I hope some part of you's in there so he doesn't try to hurt me or anyone else here." said Ben.

(ooc: heh. would be kinda amusing if hulk does come out first thing he does is like hug mike. or freak out seeing him fighting fandrall thinking fandrall was trying to hurt him. xd)

[Calvin Remen(Forest)]

(OCC: Omg. I'll definitely do something similar. I was thinking both! Like he'd try to attack Fandral under the assumption he was going to hurt mike. But mike pacifies him and Hulk calms down to hug him. So let ben accidentally push too far and Hulk will easily pop up next post or something)

"He has a point, Volstagg. He is definitely capable but don't go overboard, friend" Fandral replied. Volstagg raised his hands in defense while having a rather proud smile on his face. Then Mike actually did charge and it was a rather boastful attempt to disarm him. Fandral almost DID lose his weapon if not for his strong hand. Fandral laughed "My boy, you nearly wiped me out! Keep at it, Mike! You'll be a warrior soon enough I think" Fandral then quickly attacked, swinging his sword against Mike's, desperate to leave his friend unarmed

Calvin saw Soma's sad look and realized that she was here because her home was taken over by that Loki tyrant. He felt bad for bringing up memories to make her sad and went a little closer "Hey, I'm sorry. Didn't mean to make you miss home. We'll get it back! I promise!" He then blushed as Soma called him and his name unique. He responded cheerfully "The only unique one here is you. I mean, a warrior immortal from asgard? You're cool! Like so cool you're ice!"

Calvin then widened his eyes and sputtered shocked "What?! Die!? Oh no! They go there on vacation and some people live there. It's like here... only, hopefully, less messed up and ruined by disaster. Oh paradise.. No to midgard paradise can mean the greatest, most amazing place on earth. It doesn't always mean death and whatnot" He shrugged, understanding her confusion nonetheless of his shocked response.

"Oh so you know of shapeshifting. Well you're looking at a shapeshifter right now! If you want, I can turn into something for you!" Calvin replied as the two clashed swords once more. He was having some fun.

"Hell no I'm not writing a book with my quotes and lines. They'll steal my thunder even if they don't do well. Nobody can talk like Tony Stark like I can. But I probably will write a book about something. Maybe about a thousand ways to beat up a god who ruined your home planet. Or maybe about how a team can really make a disaster easier to handle. I'll think about it" Tony replied, his tone both amused and kind. He did like Piotr as well as enjoy himself. Yet the nagging side of him told him to get back to work.

"Don't worry, I got you covered. Physical blasts target only one direction and if anyone's in the way, I just fly to them and dodge it for them. Also for any other weapon, I'll probably not do it here, I'm saving that for Reindeer games" His tone was understanding with a hint of bitterness towards loki. He, like many, was angry at the results of his attack and takeover of earth. JARVIS responded Sir his metal is strong enough for mild to medium blasts but do not go to type 3. That can have rather painful results. Tony muttered to JARVIS "Thanks on the metal note buddy. On that"

He was rather prideful when he succeeded in his reflexes. Enough to reply to Pitor "Well thanks ki---" He was then interrupted by the other man swinging his fists at his chest. Tony at the last one flew back slightly and he laughed "Oh this is gonna be fun with you, Kid. Let's get it on!" He charged immediately, sending a very mild physical blast straight for Pitor's legs.

"Yes. I was. I was rather amazed by how they made Rogers to who he was. I just wanted to make something like that to help us. I used myself because I truly believed that it was too dangerous for anyone else. This accident really changed me, made me appreciate the small things. Like talking to a friend" He smiled towards Ben, glad that the other did not have any vices or regrets towards him. That Ben was actually not angry towards him, that he was aware that fate was cruel to certain people sometimes. He then heard Ben say he wanted to be human again and Bruce nodded "I hope that someday I can find a way to do that for you"

"I know. I'm trying to make us cope with it at least. For me to have more control and for you to at least morph into a human like me. Just to give us some independence with this type of thing. Yet you're right, it is a part of us and we can't really get rid of it" Bruce sadly responded, evident regret on his face. Despite what ben said, Bruce did feel bad for his fortune while another was suffering. He then aimed his weapon and nodded at Ben's hope that he was still in there when hulk arose "I hope so too. Sometimes I am, sometimes I'm not" He then nodded "Alright, ready"

[Detective Mike Stone]

(ooc: sounds like a plan then.)

Mike snickered as the two spoke.

"The two of you actually agreed on something. I never thought I'd ever see that." said Mike.

Mike smiled at the praise as Fandral spoke.

"I almost knocked you down already? Wow. I didn't think I'd be that good on my first try. This is paying off already." said Mike.

He knew he was just beginning his training but this did make him feel a little confident and made him desire to get stronger.

Soma sighed.

"I want to believe that but even if we win it won't be the same. Who knows what Loki will change or do? It could end up as worth as Earth is now. And the other realms who knows how he's changed them. But you shouldn't make a promise something you can't keep." said Soma.

Soma raised an eyebrow at him as the guy complimented her and said she was cool as ice and looked at him confused.

"So you're saying I'm making you cold?" asked Soma.

Soma was more confused.

"Vacations? What's that?" asked Soma.

She paused as he said paradises were the most amazing places on Earth.

"So this paradise is a place on Earth but doesn't always mean death? So many confusing things." said Soma.

She nodded as he spoke again.

"Yes I do. You can shapeshift?" said Soma.

She smiled curious about his powers.

"I'm not sure what you can turn into. Why don't you surprise me?" said Soma.

Piotr chuckled.

"I suppose that's true. Although I don't think anyone could do it as well as you. So they probably would fail. People can duplicate lines but you can't duplicate "The Stark Charm" as some people call it." said Piotr.

Piotr smirked.

"I think those other books would be very popular. I know I'd buy them." said Piotr.

Piotr nodded.

"Good. I knew you'd have everything covered. I just wanted to be sure. This is a training session after all. I didn't want any of us to get hut." said Piotr.

Piotr grinned seeing his attack had hit as Tony charged firing a blast at him that caused Piotr to stumble backwards but he kept himself standing. He then retaliated by swinging a few kiccks at Tony.

Ben smiled at him.

"Impressive. I can't wait until-"

He trailed off realizing he had no idea where Reed and Sue were or if they were alive. So he kept talking trying to distract him.

"Well perhaps you can help us both one day. I've gotten used to being The Thing really. But it would be nice to be Ben Grim again. If only there was I way I could be both." said Ben.

Ben nodded.

"I guess it doesn't help both of us have anger issues and we can't let our rage take over." said Ben.

He nodded and charged at Bruce swinging a punch at him.

[Fandral]

Volstagg and Fandral rolled their eyes at Mike's comment about them getting along. Then Fandral continued fighting Mike and kept coming more and more at him. Fandral chuckled before saying encouragingly "Keep at it my boy keep at it!" He continued, pushing Mike away from him. He was about to pretend a finishing blow when suddenly a loud roar got through his thought process and Fandral paled at the sight.

Volstagg was laughing as the brawl went on when his amusement turned to fear as the hulk appeared much faster than any of them expected. Volstagg's brotherly instincts kicked in and he raised his axe, protecting Fandral and Mike. Volstagg called out "Now now beast, calm yourself!"

"Maybe but I am going to keep this promise. We'll get Asgard back. I'll fight tooth and nail for you" Calvin replied. He meant it. He didn't like Soma so sad. Calvin laughed at her lack of understanding idioms "No its another way of saying you're good. I'm praising you. That like you're so good it's unbelievable type of deal" Calvin then patiently explained vacations "That's when people take a break from their jobs or education to have fun or do other things"

"It'll be easier once you get the hang of it" Calvin assured, understanding her lack of knowledge of a new place. Culture with asgard was different and that was fine to him. He beamed and nodded as she asked he could shape shift. He then nodded as he moved to shift into a wolf. It was a quick process and as he was done he turned to see the hulk. The newly made wolf howled in protest.

"No you certainly can't. It can't ever be replaced by the real thing" Tony smirked underneath the mask. He then pointed to Pitor "I like you kid. You have taste. And class. And some actual balls" He then began fighting more with pitor, focusing more now. As the two kept fighting, he heard a loud roar. Immediately he replied "Sorry Pitor this has to wait a minute" Tony then said "Hey bruce, take it---" With a quick swipe the iron man was thrown off and collided accidentally to pitor.

"Believe me, Ben. I'll find a way to make us both happy. I just need some time. That's all I ask" Bruce said sincerely. He then nodded with a sad smile as Ben said that their anger was something of a problem to say the least. Bruce then braced himself but the punch was so fast, it hit him hard across the cheek. He struggled to control himself but the pain got to him very quickly. The beast within HATED pain. Of any kind. Bruce gasped as he felt it happen. It was so fast. It didn't help that he had a bleeding nose, plus he was seeing Fandral apprehend Mike too. That caused the beast to cry out more.

"B-Ben. G-get everybody awa-away. I-I don't know what's going on but he..." Suddenly he let out a boisterous roar as the hulk immediately morphed and became aware. The hulk roared even louder, causing Iron man to come, out of anger the hulk threw him away to Pitor. And the hulk ignored Ben completely but sneered at the howling wolf before snarling at Fandral. He saw Fandral above Mike at the moment and roared out a protestation.

[Soma]

Mike grinned as Fandrall kept encouraging him.

"I will. Won't give up." said Mike.

He was taken by surprise hearing a roar and saw it was Hulk.

"Hulk! Stop! He's training me!" said Mike.

He paused rushing forward not wanting Hulk, Volstagg or Fandrall to get hurt.

Soma smiled at him.

"Thank you but I wouldn't want you to get hurt trying to help." said Soma.

She just looked puzzled as she spoke again.

"So you say you're cold when you try to make someone feel good? Midgard has such confusing customs." said Soma.

She raised an eyebrow as he explained vacations.

"You mean like a feasts we have on Asgard?" asked Soma, kind of understanding it.

She watched in surprised as he turned into a wolf but then Hulk showed up making his way to Fandrall and Volstagg.

"Uh oh. This could get ugly." said Soma.

Piotr grinned.

"And I don't think any one would want to duplicate you. I don't think the world can handle more than one of you. Too much of a good thing." said Piotr.

He chuckled.

"Thanks Tony." said Pitor.

Their brawl was getting pretty intense when Hulk tore through them knocking Iron man to the side making his way towards the others.

"Mike! look out!" said Piotr.

When Mike tried to stop Hulk he was concerned knowing Mike wasn't an Asgardian. Fandrall and Volstagg could protect themselves better. Maybe they should have told Bruce not to come. He rushes over to Tony.

"Tony? Are you alright?" asked Piotr.

Ben grinned.

"I believe you will. Maybe we could find a way to keep The thing and Hulk. If we could control the transformation and be in control of them we could not only still do good. But we wouldn't have to give up our human lives to do it." said Ben.

When Bruce's nose started bleeding he told him to get away then he morphed into hulk. He saw the Hulk knock Iron Man to the side and snarl at the wolf. He hadn't noticed the wolf get here realizing one of the others must have shapeshifted. He ran after Hulk not sure if he'd get there in time but wanting to try to prevent problems.

"Hulk! Bruce! Stop!" said Ben.

[Bruce Banner(The Hulk)]

Fandral was immediately protected by both Mike and Volstagg. Fandral raised his sword out, ready to fight. Volstagg got his weapon and replied "Now now fair beast. Surely we can rationalize this" The hulk responded to this nice comment by taking mike away from the two men, hugging him close and sneering at both men. Fandral came over and replied "Surely you misunderstand--" But he was interupted by a VERY angry roar, one so loud it caused both men to realize this beast was not going to listen to them. They had their weapons ready but backed up a little to pacify the beast. When confronted by Tony again, he snarled and gave him a petty shove. Which for Tony was a rough push.

"Oh come on, it's a war. Everybody needs to fight. And I'll fight for you" Calvin replied innocently. He then laughed a little as Soma misunderstood his language and replied "No no. It's lingo or made up language. Yes cool sometimes mean cold but it also means you're good or you're excellent" He then nodded at her response of similarities between vacations and feasts "Yeah pretty much like that!" He then walked over, sitting down as his wolf form and turning to Soma "You're telling me. Maybe we should get some tranquilizers or something?"

Tony would've responded to the earlier conversations. If Hulk didn't just throw him to the ground. He groaned a little in pain and asked "Jarvis? Any damage?" JARVIS immediately replied Well as one might expect from the hulk, your armor is a bit dented but it's otherwise fine. It's your back I'm worried about He turned to here Pitor express concern, and not wanting to look too weak or old, Tony immediately got up. He replied calmly "Oh I'm good I'm good. It's just the big guy acting out. He's like a really strong five year old" He turned and flew a little closer and replied "Hulk. Mike is not a toy. Put him down" He was pushed down by hulk then and tony got up and replied "Really? Honestly?"

Hulk raced towards Mike and his two asgardian friends. Hulk turned to look softly at Mike who told him to stop. He saw all the people react. Some of them telling him to stop. He was too focused on protecting mike and saw most of them as enemies. He roared at ben and the other members as if to tell them to get away. He then turned to Mike again, taking him in his arms and hugging him tightly. He walked a little bit away but got confronted twice. Once by Fandral and Volstagg, which made Hulk roar right in their faces. Then by tony, which caused the hulk to push him as if to say 'you can't tell me what to do'.

[Soma]

Mike struggled in Hulk's grasp.

"Hulk everyone's friends here. I'm training how to fight so no one can hurt me. I can't rely on you to protect me all the time. That wouldn't be fair to you." said Mike.

He paused leaning forward and kissing him hoping it would calm him down if his words didn't.

Soma chuckled.

"The only one fighting for me is me but I wouldn't deny your assistance." said Soma.

Soma looked confused trying to understand what he said.

"So cool can mean cold but it can also mean good. Your culture is very strange." said Soma.

Soma glanced at the fight seeing Mike kiss Hulk and she grinned.

"I doubt tranquilizers would work on him. Mike is seeming to do the work for us." said Soma.

Piotr ran over to Tony seeing him flung back a couple times.

"Are you ok?" asked Piotr.

He was shocked seeing Mike kiss Hulk and he grinned.

"Well I was going to suggest music but I guess that's another way to soothe the savage beast." said Piotr.

Ben followed the others ready to intervene but no one seemed to be able to get through to him. He chuckled seeing Mike kiss Hulk and the reactions and comments around it.

"These two sure know how to draw a crowd." said Ben.

[Bruce Banner(The Hulk)]

Fandral and Volstagg were pretty much at a loss for words. Then mike kissed Hulk and instantly Fandral cheered on approvingly "There's our fine lad right there! Smooth just like me!" Volstagg rolled his eyes, before seeing the beast calm down but not let Mike go. Sneering at the two warriors suspiciously. Volstagg replied calmly "Listen to mike, dear beast. We are friends. We were just training" Hulk pulled mike close, sniffing mike protectively before growling at Fandral.

Fandral and Volstagg sighed in unison. Fandral turned to Mike and replied "I don't think the beast quite cares whether or not we're training. He might need to calm down more" Volstagg then replied "Perhaps kiss him again? Or maybe pat his head?" Then they saw Tony actually convince Hulk with the help of mike to put mike down. Afterwards, both men stood there with shock as hulk started sniffing them. Fandral was pushed down, which caused Volstagg to chuckle to himself.

Calvin was a bit bummed she wasn't really into him protecting her. He kind of wanted to impress her. But he took hope in the fact Soma still appreciated his help. Calvin then noticed the drama between Hulk and the warriors. Calvin in his wolf form watched the display of kissing seem to work, only for Hulk to want to keep Mike. Calvin called out a suggestion "Somebody get some oil for Mike to slip out" He then proceeded to turn to Soma and reply "Looks like hulk's not convinced yet" Calvin proceeded to sniff before morphing into a cat "Welp. Might as well just take a nap. This is gonna take a while" He then saw Hulk put mike down and Calvin rose up and turned into a human "Wow. That was easy"

Tony immediately got up, dusting his suit off "Oh I'm fine. He's just being a brat as always" Tony then chuckled in amusement as Mike kissed Hulk. Only for hulk to still be unsure and distrustful. When hearing someone say for mike to kiss Hulk again, Tony replied with amusement "Hah. The same formula only works once" He then flew over to Hulk and replied "Come on big guy. We go way back. Don't you trust me?" When hulk nodded, Tony replied "Don't you trust mike?" When hulk nodded again, tony replied "Great. So he told you and I'm telling you, he's fine. You're so good at protecting mike, but you need to put him down. He needs to continue training. Put him down big boy" He then saw Hulk finally put mike down and then turn his attention to the warrior two. Tony replied to the two "Stay still. Let him sniff you. Again, think of him as a mixture of a dog and a kid. He wants to make sure you're ok" He then saw hulk sniff ben and replied to ben "Just stay still ben"

Hulk was angry. Until Mike started talking to him and kissing him. Hulk was stubborn so his words didn't really soothe him. Yet a tender kiss from Mike did. Ignoring the others, he kissed back just as tenderly. Then he turned to the warrior two with a suspicious sneer. Hulk proceeded to back up just a little more, pulling mike close to him. He replied, being a tad bratty "No. Mine. Hulk don't like you touching nice boy" He then turned to Tony and listened to him with a nod. When asked about trusting mike, hulk nodded again. Realizing Tony had a point, he put mike down near Tony. He then growled to the warrior two and sniffed them. After a small while, he pushed Fandral down as if to say Don't let me catch you again then left to ben. He started sniffing ben up and down before giving a solid nod of approval. He then turned to mike and tony to say Okay. All good. The hulk then turned to see everyone look at him and get a bit antsy again and started getting nervous. He gave a unsure whine, looking right at mike for approval.

[Detective Mike Stone]

Mike blushed at the encouragement from Fandral and Volstagg. It felt odd kissing in front of them. They'd become like big brothers to him and it just felt weird.

"They're my friends Hulk. No. They're more than that. They're like the big brothers I always wanted. Don't hurt them. Please." said Mike.

Mike raised an eyebrow as Calvin suggested oil.

"I'm not a salad!" said Mike.

He watched as Tony convinced Hulk to put him down. He watched Hulk sniff Fandral and Ben but when he shoved Fandral down he sighed in annoyance.

"I appreciate you care for me Hulk but I came here to learn how to fight. Please let me. Everyone is friends here. Don't you trust them? Don't you trust me?" asked Mike.

He then looked at him smiled sadly at him.

"You're my favorite super hero. I was in love with you before we even met. You and Bruce. But I don't want a bodyguard. I can turn invisible Hulk. I was a cop before this nightmare happened fighting criminals and arresting them. Mostly non powered ones but I did fight crime. I want a boyfriend. You can't protect me from everything all the time." said Mike.

He sighed hoping he was reaching Hulk. If Hulk didn't calm down and stop being so overprotective he feared that they may end up getting into a fight. Maybe not today but some day. And he didn't want to end up fighting Hulk. But he glanced at Tony in frustration.

"Maybe you can have better luck at convincing him. I'm getting a drink." said Mike.

He walked off in a huff annoyed at the situation and how overprotective Hulk was being. He headed inside and grabbed a water bottle taking a few sips.

(ooc: he's not mad. just mostly annoyed. and wants to cool down before he says something he regrets. feel free to have someone else try to talk to him and maybe tony tries to calm hulk down. figure mike might stay in the kitchen for a few posts then come back.)

"I suppose not. You're right. This may take awhile." said Soma.

She raised an eyebrow as Calvin spoke again.

"You call that easy?" asked Soma.

When Mike got annoyed at Hulk and stormed off Soma looked on in surprise and was slightly impressed.

"I didn't know the boy had it in him. Not many have the courage to stand up to Hulk the way he did"

Piotr and Ben remained silent not sure what to do and hoped Mike and Tony could convince Hulk to calm down. When Hulk sniffed him Ben stayed still. He sighed in relief as Hulk signed his approval and let out a chuckle as he pushed Fandral down. Then Mike eventually stormed off leaving Piotr and Ben both stunned.

"Remind me not to get him angry." said Ben.

Piotr just nodded silently.

Kitchen: Fandral and Mike

Fandral wasn't too surprised Mike had more confidence in standing up to the hulk then the rest of them. The bond between him and the beast was stronger than the other heroes were with the beast, hence the protectiveness of the beast. Although hulk didn't like him, he was glad hulk was protective of mike and would rather the beast be nasty to him then be unattentive to mike. He nodded as Mike insisted that he cared about hulk but didn't want hulk to be constantly over him and wanted a boyfriend, not a bodyguard before storming off for a break. Fandral decided to follow "Volstagg, you train some more, I think I should speak with mike" He followed mike over and sat with mike and replied "I understand your frustration with the beast, dear mike. But I have no hard feelings. He clearly cares about you. He will eventually get over it. It just takes patience"

Hulk eventually started to calm down, taking a liking to ben and a few others, listening to tony and mike finally. He nodded as Hulk was asked if he trusted mike "Of course hulk trust mike" Then mike got snappy and eventually confessed he had been in love with him even before they met. Both him and bruce. That mike was not a piece of glass and needed to take care of himself. That he was a cop. That he had been in many fights and was going to continue being in fights. After mike eventually ranted about wanting a boyfriend and not a bodyguard, he stormed off, Hulk went to follow but tony stopped him. Hulk sighed softly listening to tony placate the masses before telling hulk to calm down and start training. Hulk meekly nodded before rubbing his head in embarrassment. Hulk sighed softly before announcing thanks to Tony's prompt "Hulk is sorry. Hulk will not explode at team again" Then after prompting from tony he went over to ben and replied "Hulk sorry. Hulk only wanted nice boy safe" Hulk then held his hand out for ben to shake "Hulk wish to be friend"

Tony kept everyone at bay before seeing that hulk was calming down. He then turned to see Mike step up for himself and lay down the law on hulk. Although not exactly angry, he wasn't exactly happy. He told that he cared about both bruce and hulk deeply but that did not mean mike was going to allow hulk to control how mike did things in the war. That hulk wasn't going to take control of how the war was handled just because mike was in it. Then Tony nodded as Mike stormed off, demanding that tony handle it. Tony gave a thumbs up then pushed hulk back "Whoa whoa now, let Stone cool off, you my friend need to let him do his own thing. You are not his mom. He's a big boy and you have other people to worry about" He pulled hulk to the center of the training field. He pointed to the rest of the team "Now what do we say?" After hulk apologized he replied "Good boy. Now you're going to behave, pick a partner and play nicely. If you don't hulk is gonna get a time out and not train for the rest of the day"

With a annoyed sigh he turned to the rest of the team and replied "Everyone. The hulk will take it easy now. He's still gonna train because we got a rebellion to run but if he's playing too rough I'll be the first to see it and will handle it. So no need to panic. Go back to your sessions with your partners and continue training. Thank you" With that he returned to pitor and replied "There. All settled. You ok kid?"

Volstagg now alone decided to go train with the weapons and aimed with the target practices. Meanwhile Calvin shrugged to soma and replied "Hey I thought it was since Hulk was calming down. Didn't think they'd get through to the big guy" He then saw the whole drama and turned to soma and replied again "Wow. It's like a high school drama all over again" He then nodded about mike being courageous enough to stand up to hulk "Mike's got the guts to stand up to anybody. I'm glad he's on our side"

[Detective Mike Stone]

Kitchen:

Mike had heard Hulk say he trusted him and he did try to apologize but Mike was still upset and was now drinking water in the kitchne. Mike saw Fandrall come in after him and he sighed.

"I know but sometimes he just makes me so mad. I may not be strong as him but I want to help. I didn't join this army to have others protect me or hide away like coward. I just hope he gets it." said Mike.

Backyard:

Ben smiled.

"Your boyfriend can be scary." said Ben.

He nodded.

"It's ok. I can understand being protective of your loved ones. My girlfriend's blind and has no powers at all. I don't even know if she's alive. Or my team." said Ben.

Ben's smiled faded as he sighed.

"Don't waste time arguing with him. Or trying to protect him. Treasure your time with him. You don't know if it'll be your last." said Ben.

He grinned and shook Hulk's hand.

"I'd like to be friends too." said Ben.

Piotr grinned.

"I'm good. I'm glad you were here. Between you and Mike I think we can help keep Hulk calm. Although I kind of feel bad for the guy. His heart was in the right place. He just overdid it a bit." said Piotr.

"Well looks like things are back to normal. Well as normal as they can get around here." said Soma.

She nodded.

"So guess we should get back to training then/" asked Soma.

[Bruce Banner(The Hulk)]

Kitchen

Fandral listened to mike as he complained about the overprotectiveness at the hulk. Fandral sighed and patted the younger man's shoulder "He will understand. It is not meant to make you feel weak, mike. I believe it is his way of showing he cares. You have to understand he is an aggressive creature and has been this way no doubt for his whole life. He's not used to having to control himself. Give it time and he will change" Fandral was mostly talking out of his butt but from the way he saw the creature behaved, he knew overall the creature was a well meaning creature. It wasn't like he couldn't be tamed. If anything it was quite the opposite.

Backyard

Hulk blushed and shrugged at the comment towards mike. He didn't mind that mike talked to him. In a way hulk knew he was asking for it. Mike could only be patient for so long. Hulk then listened to ben explain that he understood but that didn't mean hulk was doing it right. If anything it would only cause him and mike to argue, and that time shouldn't be wasted on that. Hulk replied assuringly "Metal man find girl for strong man. Strong man just wait. Girl will be found" He then smiled softly as ben accepted his friendship "Hulk sorry for scaring you. Just got angry. Hulk usually is angry"

"Again hulk's like a kid. He means well but doesn't have the right mindset. Just gotta treat him like a bit of a five year old sometimes. Other times you just gotta let him do his thing" Tony replied. Pitor was right, hulk had a good heart, the problem was he was very bad at controlling his temper. His temper was really his achille's heel. He had massive strength he just had to control it and he'd be a machine. Tony then replied "Now about me kicking your ass?" He joked and got himself armed and ready for a new fight

Calvin nodded at soma and couldn't help but realize how beautiful she was. But he kept that part to himself. He then replied "Yeah. You start. I'll go after your go" Calvin prepared himself, ready to shift into anything to help soma get back on track.
