Mike sighed.

"I guess so. It's just so frustrating. I fight enough with my dad who he was worried about me being a cop. I guess arguging with Bruce just made me think about those fights. Sometimes I felt like I could never make my dad happy and now I don't even know if he or my mom are even alive." said Mike.

Ben smiled.

"I hope so. And you were a little scary I got to admit. But your boyfriend can be scary too. He reminds me a lot of Sue sometimes. He even has her power from what I've heard. If he ever got into a problem he couldn't fight his way out of on his own he could always turn invisible and get away. I get where you're coming from. I want to protect Alicia with everything I got but there's a difference between loving someone and controlling them. If you dod that you'd push them away and not have them alt all.

Although I doubt you could push Mike away. The guy's like some super fan who was in love with you before he even met you. Not everyone can find someone liike that. So don't take him for granted alright?" said Ben.

"I guess so. I'm just glad you're here to help calm him down. He can be a little scary when he's mad." said Piotr.

Pior raised an eyebrow.

"Are you sure it won't be the other way around?" asked Piotr, with a confident grin.

"Alright. Ladies first huh? Well you may regret that." Said Soma.

She grinned and charged at Calvin swinging her weapon at him.

Fandral listened as mike explained it reminded him too much of his fights with his dad. Fandral patted his shoulder and replied "I know you're frustrated but the creature means nothing by it. Hulk and bruce both love you. And I know your father loved you also. I am sure this was only out of a misguided attempt to protect you. The beast needs time to come around. Give it time" Fandral tried to be reasonable and be kind to mike's needs. He wanted to understand but also wanted to convince mike not to be so mad. He hoped mike would not be so frustrated

"Oh he's terrifying. He just needs someone to parent him. All that uncontrolled anger leads to trouble for sure" Tony replied, nodding in understanding to pitor. He got why people were intimdated but hulk didn't always mean anything by it. The hulk wasn't a monster by any means. Just a massively large creature who needed someone to look out for him. He then got into a better defensive stance as pitor sassed him back "Ooooooh JARVIS you hear that? Looks like the kid has got a sense of humor. Let's see what we deal with funny people" He then aimed but replied to pitor "Better put your money where your mouth is, kid!"

Calvin frowned a bit as soma quickly charged, surprising him. Still calvin dodged her weapon, using his in retaliation. He dodged and fought her and replied "I feel like I said this before but dang, you're good" He kept going with her. He hoped praising her would lower her defenses so he could get the upper hand. He was aiming to try and trip her then pin her as a big animal without hurting her.

Hulk turned to ben as he spoke about how hulk should appreciate him. That hulk shouldn't screw this chance up. That while protecting him was one thing, constantly controlling what he did was entirely another. Hulk nodded insistently "Strong man right. Hulk needs to behave for nice boy. Hulk loves nice boy and wants to be good boyfriend" He nodded more and more "Hulk not control. Hulk be appreciative of nice boy" Hulk then turned to try to shake ben's hand without hurting it "Thank you strong man" He then got into a playful stance and asked "Hulk train with you?"

[Detective Mike Stone]

Kitchen:

Mike nodded.

"I know he didn't mean any harm. But being overprotective isn't going to help either. If he's too busy focused on me he could get hurt. Or someone who really needs his help won't get it." said Mike.

He smiled at Fandral's words.

"You're right. I can't make up with my dad right now. Hopefully, he'll show up. But I can make things right with Hulk and Bruce." said Mike.

He smiled before he gave Fandrall a quick hug.

"Thanks for being there and talking me down. I know we haven't known each other long but you and Volstagg feel like the big brothers I never had. So it feels like I still have family here even if I don't see my parents again." said Mike.

Piotr chuckled.

"I guess it's good he has you then. I guess we all are. You're probably one of the few who can calm him down before he goes on a rampage." said Piotr.

Piotr grinned.

"I've got more than that. Just don't hold back too much. I'd like to test my skills to get better in future fights. I will try to do the same. I don't want either of us to end up in a hospital bed for weeks. That won't be much fun." said Piotr.

He smirked and charged at Tony swinging a punch right at his chest while sweeping a kick at his feet.

Soma chuckled.

"Well, I have to be. To keep up with my sister, Sif and the others. Can't have too many mistakes out on the battlefield. Too many could lead to injuries or death. And I've seen enough of comrades fall so I try to keep that number as low as I can." said Soma.

She smirked swinging a punch at him while swinging her weapon with the other hand.

Ben smiled.

"Right. Be nice. Maybe next time you get upset just count to like 5 or 10. And then talk to Mike. Or any of us. People will be less mad or scared if you try to tell them what's wrong. I admit I've lost my own temper a few times. Mostly at Johnny and his pranks." said Ben.

He nodded.

"I'd like that. We're both pretty strong. So this should be fun. Although I do suggest no throwing. At least not while others are around. Maybe we could fight for fun just the two of us later. That way we don't have to hold back as much. But for now, let's stick to just punching and kicking." said Ben.

He smiled.

"How about you go first?" asked Ben.

[Fandral]

Kitchen

"I understand. He'll get out of the overprotectiveness eventually. Just needs some patience I suppose" Fandral lightly suggested. He knew mike was hateful of being caged in, he was a independent free-minded spirit. If he was going to be tied down, it would be his choice and no one elses. It reminded fandral of a younger him. It made him a bit nostalgic and also a bit fonder of mike than he already was. He then nodded as mike said he was right, he may not make up with his dad but he could with bruce "The both of you are going to make mistakes with each other. What's best is to not let it ruin your relationship. Make things right with him is all I say" He then smiled and hugged Mike back as he thanked him.

He then softly smiled as mike replied he found himself looking to fandral and volstagg as brothers "Well, mike. I quite find you to be the brother I always wanted also. To me, you are family just as much as volstagg is"

"Hulk needs structure and a reasonable person. I'm reasonable enough to keep him down. But at the same time his strength is what we need now. Just gonna have to have him get used to us and soon he'll get that anger thing down pat" Tony replied. Tony was convinced that hulk just needed understanding. Maybe with time he'd be able to control him temper and massively improve. He then got punched by pitor, much to tony's own amusement. He then smirked as Pitor said to not hold too much back "Oh don't worry kid. I won't. JARVIS, make this fun for us"

Of course sir. Should I attempt the whip attack? JARVIS asked

"Eh sure why not. Not too much though, just enough to keep pitor on his toes" Tony then aimed his arm and a whip proceeded to come out and grab pitor's feet to pin him down.

Calvin was a bit frustrated he couldn't really successfully pin down soma but he knew he had to keep trying. He then nodded to her explainations to why she was as good as she was. He then replied "Yeah. I wanna be sure I don't mess up either. You seem to work quite hard with battles. You do it often obviously. Guess I just gotta keep up with you" He tried to flatter her even more now. He then made himself into a snake to try to wrap her up and get her to hold still.

"Strong man lose temper too? Hulk not only one?" Hulk was kind of happy someone else also had a anger problem. It made the beast feel less lonely. He felt like people could genuinely understand him besides mike now. Maybe he could make a friend at last? He then nodded at ben's solid advice "Count to calm down? Sounds fun. Hulk likes to count" He then nodded as ben suggested it was best to train without throwing, that kicking and punching alone seemed best for them. Hulk nodded "Okay. Hulk likes to punch more anyway. It fun" He then nodded replying "Hulk train with strong man! Hulk have fun!" He then charged and proceeded to aim a punch.

[Detective Mike Stone]

Kitchen:

Mike sighed.

"I guess so." said Mike.

Mike nodded.

"I know. I guess we just need to talk things out more. It's so easy to talk to Bruce but Hulk I know it's so easy for him to get angry." said Mike.

Mike smiled.

"Tom, you, and Volstagg are my brothers in everything but blood. And I've fallen for both Bruce and Hulk. My parents may be gone. You guys may be all I have left. So I do need to try to make this right." said Mike.

He paused walking back out to the backyard.

Piotr grinned. This was a day he was going to always remember getting to train and fight with one of his heroes. He was taken by surprise as Tony pulled out a whip and grabbed his feet. Piotr tried to break it not sure what it was made of.

"Whips? Didn't expect that." said Piotr.

Soma smiled.

"Besides if you took me down so easily I'd be disappointed because it meant I had lost my touch. This is training for both of us." said Soma.

She smiled.

"I think you've got what it takes. Not many can shapeshift into animals so make sure to use that. Choose stronger animals if possible like lions, tigers, and elephants. Bigger and tougher the animal the better. Smaller ones might really only be useful for spying, to get away from a strong attack, or to retreat. But those are my suggestions. Maybe you'll surprise me." said Soma.

She was surprised as he turned into a snake and tried to wrap around her. She jumped backwards narrowlly with a grin.

"Not bad." said Soma, with a grin.

Ben nodded.

"Yeah. Everyone does. Although when you have super strength you have to be careful. Most people can get hurt very easily. As much as I get annoyed by Johnny I'd feel really bad if I did hurt him when I lost my temper." said Ben.

Ben nodded.

"It helps me out sometimes. If it's easier you can use pretend to count things or count things nearby like sheep or whatever." said Ben.

Ben grinned.

"Punching it is then." said Ben.

He paused looking up to see they were interrupted as he smiled seeing Mike.

Mike walks out pulling Hulk into a hug.

"I'm sorry I got so mad. I know you're just looking out for me but you can't be there all the time. If you spend all your time protecting me you may not be able to help one of the others who could need your help." said Mike.

He paused giving Hulk a kiss.

"I don't like fighting with you. I think we just need to talk more." said Mike.

[Fandral]

"Well if hulk loves you, which I believe he does, he will try to speak. He seems more intelligent than we give him credit for" Fandral was being honest. Despite the childish and angry side, there seemed to be enough emotional intelligence within. Hulk just needed to be talked to. Not feared. It seemed fear only made him angrier, mike just yelling at him humbled the beast a lot. He then smiled as mike expressed that he, volstagg and his friend tom were brothers to him too "I know that I will be here for you regardless. Go to the hulk, speak with him" He then nodded approvingly as mike went to hulk. He then walked to volstagg and replied as volstagg greeted him "Give the boy a minute, I think he might train with us again soon"

Volstagg was training when he saw fandral and mike come back. He turned to greet fandral "About time brother. I was getting bored training all by myself" He then nodded as fandral said to give mike a second to talk to hulk because he might decide to train with them once again.

Tony smirked and replied "Like them? They're brand new. Better get out of them quick or you're gonna lose this round" He kept pulling on pitor. He kept pulling despite pitor trying to get out. Tony smirked amusedly as the boy did attempt to leave them. Tony replied "I'd pull harder, these whips are limited edition and are tough to beat" He chuckled, somewhat amused but also competitive to win.

Calvin nodded as soma wisely pointed out that if he beat her so quickly it wouldn't benefit her either. They both had to train to get stronger. He then smiled as soma expressed he had what it took, he just needed to use his power to his advantage. Like using large animals for battle while using smaller animals to spy or investigate. He then smirked amusedly as she commented he might surprise her "You know something soma, I just might. I might surprise you. And maybe I can hopefully surprise the enemy too" He then slithered away a bit to give himself a chance to find out how to grab soma as she flipped away "Yeah not bad. But I can do better I think" He then morphed into a gorilla before soma could have a chance to think about it and attempted to grab her in a hug.

"Yeah. Hulk not wanna hurt friends. Hulk just get angry. Hulk like fire" Hulk looked somewhat defeated. He didn't mean to hurt people he cared about, he just had a lot of anger. But ben was right. If he didn't control it he'd get in immense trouble for it. He then nodded at ben's suggestion to count "Hulk try counting. Hulk can count good" He smiled proudly, he wasn't bruce level intelligent but he was proud that he was good at counting. He then went to charge and punch at ben to train but he stopped running when he saw mike and he obediently relaxed his body at the sight of him. He hugged mike back as mike apologized for losing patience "Hulk sorry too. Nice boy right. Hulk try to control himself better" Hulk replied he then kissed mike back and nodded "Hulk try to talk better too. Hulk wanna be good"

[Detective Mike Stone]

Mike grinned at Hulk as he returned his kiss.

"I know you will. This will take practice. And if I really need your help in a battle you'll be the first person I call. But if they find out we're dating they could also use me as bait to lure you into a trap to capture you or kill you. You are one of the strongest members of the rebellion. If something happened to you because of me...."

He trailed off pulling him into a hug.

"I'd never be able to forgive myself. That's why I have to get stronger." said Mike.

He let go of him and rejoined Volstagg and Fandral.

"Sorry about the interruption. Now where were we?" said Mike.

Piotr chuckled.

"Very confident. I like that." said Piotr.

He paused grinning as he said to pull harder.

"If you insist. I hope you can fix these." said Piotr.

He paused yanking on them trying to break them or at least pull them off Tony's grip. He paused with a grin.

"I do want to say thank you. I never expected to get to fight my favorite superhero today. Before this craziness happened I never thought I'd meet you. And now not only do I know you but I get your advice and to fight you. This is one of the best days of my life." said Piotr.

He smiled and hoping it was a distraction enough as he managed to break the whips off him as they fell to the ground.

"Oops. I think I overdid it. Sorry." said Piotr.

Soma grinned.

"Good. And if necessary make sure to flexible. If one animal doesn't work don't hesitate to switch to another. Even if it means you have to abandon a fight temporarily. No good at being an elephant if you're fighting someone who's faster than you so you might need a quicker animal." said Soma.

She paused as he turned into a gorilla and gave her a hug.

"That's definitely better. Well done." said Soma.

She paused with a grin.

"But if you think you can hold me..."

She grinned as she needs him in the stomach and grabbed his arms attempting to pull him off her and toss him over her shoulder.

Ben smiled.

"I'm sure you'll get better at this. Maybe we can help each other. I get mad too. But if one of us gets mad maybe we can take it out on each other. Not many people here can handle getting hurt. And the worst happens we blow of some steam and maybe destroy some rocks or some training dummies." said Ben.

He smiled watching the couple reunite as he grinned. As Mike left to train again he smiled.

"Good. Now let's get started." said Ben.

He paused swinging a punch at Hulk.

[Fandral]

Hulk listened to Mike's words with a softer expression. The beast did understand that all Mike wanted was the people close to him safe. Hulk also understood that he wanted freedom and independance to do right by others. Hulk held the man close, murmuring softly "Hulk will never let Nice Boy get hurt. And if Hulk gets hurt, it will never be nice boy's fault" Hulk nodded, realizing for Mike's own sanity he needed to let go more. Hulk nodded, replying gently "Hulk wants to keep staying strong too. Nice boy wants to be strong and hulk supports it" He then paid attention to Ben as Mike went off to train with the two warriors. Hulk turned to Ben, listening to his suggestions with a agreeing look. Hulk replied optimistically "Strong man smart. Strong man has really good ideas" Hulk looked apprehensive as he replied "We work together? Like friends?" Hulk then nodded as Ben suggested to start training and allowed Ben to swing a punch. Hulk did get hit but he took a breath before charging at Ben, hoping to pounce on the rock man.

Fandral and Volstagg watched, supportively allowing Mike and Hulk to settle their disagreement. When Mike came over, Volstagg beamed bright "That's our boy! Focused and ready to fight!" Volstagg turned to Fandral playfully "Now if we won't have interruptions, we shall finally see the boy actually beat you" Volstagg laughed as Fandral teased him back. The larger man stayed put, waiting to see when it was his turn "Lose quickly, Fandral, I want to give the boy an actual challenge" After Fandral teased him more, Volstagg just polished his axe, laughing amusedly

Fandral smiled warmly as Mike finally went over. He then rolled his eyes as Volstagg teased him. Fandral retorted "The boy is incredible but he has a long way to go in order to beat me" He got his sword and turned to Mike, replying calmly "Just grab your weapon and let's resume our battle. Remember to make sure your hits are firm" He then retorted again to Volstagg's teasing "The only challenge you pose is how long you can eat and drink. Let me focus, brother" Fandral turned to Mike, waiting for him to attack "Don't hold back, Mike, make sure you strike"

Tony meanwhile was focused on sparring with Pitor. He smirked amusedly as Pitor praised his confidence and pulled at his whips. Thankfully they didn't break but they were out of his grip and gave Pitor control. As Tony firmly planted his feet to the ground, trying to avoid falling down, he listened as Pitor thanked him and expressed that Tony was one of his idols. Tony smiled from under the mask, replying genuinely "Well, honestly, I'm glad. I don't think I deserve fans for what I do but I do appreciate the love. I should thank you for the support. I just want to do the right thing, especially with my work" Tony then felt the whips actually break thanks to him sticking firmly to the ground. Tony sighed, replying "JARVIS will help me fix it"

Always happy to clean things up, sir JARVIS commented

Tony turned to Pitor, amused as he beckoned Pitor "Alright kid, let's redo. You attack me first now and I'll try to defend myself"

Calvin nodded as Soma gave him strategic advice, he replied sheepishly "I mean, it's easy for me to switch animals but if I go too fast, I sometimes stay as a certain animal for a longer period of time. So I need to still be careful of how many times I switch. But I'll keep that in mind" He then tried to hold onto Soma as a gorilla only for Soma to knee him in the stomach. Before Calvin could recover, he felt her pull him off and throw him off her shoulder. With a almost cartoony yelp, he fell to the ground and turned human again. He groaned in utter agony, murmuring softly "My pride and strength, gone in one single swoop" Calvin comically put his hand out, coughing over-dramatically "Soma, soma it's getting dark, I'll need CPR"
