Victor chuckled. "Perhaps you can. I was a businessman and a king myself once. I became so wrapped up in revenge I nearly I forgot what was really important to me. And now I have to get my kingdom back." said Victoir. Victor sighed. "I guess I did." said Victor. He chuckled. "They often do. In hindsight, I wonder if I chose the wrong Storm. I mean even if he wasn't dating Loki there's too much bad blood between us. Perhaps things would have gone better for me if I'd dated him instead of his sister. But I guess I can't live in the past and what if's." said Victor. Victor nodded. "I hope so. It just won't be easy. Neither of them is going to want to speak to me anytime soon. I just need to figure out how to make this right." said Victor. |

(OCC: I love how casually victor admitted he was bisexual to aldrich. This friendship is kind of adorable. Also all that about pepper is made up I just wanted to have aldrich make more conversation)
"Don't worry man. You will. We will work this thing out. That kingdom of yours is good as saved" Aldrich promised. He knew he was a bit egotistical but he believed with all his heart he could set things right. If he did victor would probably reward him big time for it. At least he hoped. He then frowned a tad as victor still got a bit upset "Hey man, no worry, we got plenty of wine right here. Nothing like a good wine to set your mood better" He sipped his wine more and listened as victor basically wondered maybe he would be in a better position if he dated johnny. Aldrich gave a shrug "Who knows man? Girls and guys all get pissy over exes no matter how hot they are. That's one of the few things women and men have in common: Bitterness towards an ex. Believe me, this one chick pepper oh boy let me tell ya a little bit" He sipped some more wine before snickering a bit, his eyes angry but his smile evidently jovial "It's funny now but it wasn't back then. I was totally in love with pepper potts, you may know, iron man's girl. She was my intern for a while, tried to flirt with her and she was not interested. Tried to persuade her to give me a chance, she just said no cause she wasn't looking for a relationship at the time. Then she goes to stark industries not long after I asked her out. Bad timing on her part, now I'm probably gonna kill her boyfriend when I get the chance"
"Nothing in this life is easy my friend. But we'll get this fixed right up. It's all about persuasion and emotional manipulation. Anybody can be played like a fiddle. Just gotta find the right tune to play" Aldrich advised. He wanted victor to remain optimistic and not in despair at this point. They were friends and aldrich was not gonna let his friend get depressed on his behalf.

Victor sighed. "I hope so. I just don't know what to do." said Victor. He raised an eyebrow. "Haven't had wine since this whole mess started. I've missed it." said Victor. Victor chuckled. "I guess so. Then again with how Johnny was back, we might not have lasted. The only reason he and the king are so chummy is Loki basically took over the universe and being his consort. Not like he has billions of people to choose from on Earth anymore. If there are many people even left on the planet anymore." said Victor. He raised an eyebrow. "So you had a similar problem. In love with a girl who was dating a genius, superhero. And then your plans were ruined." said Victor. He nodded. "I really hope so. Maybe the start would be getting into Johnny and Susan's good graces. Once I get them on my side, Loki would have to follow. From what I heard Ben is off in the Rebellion. If I could bring Reed here that might score me some points. He's currently missing." said Victor. |

"Of course you don't. That's why I'm here. I'll figure something out" Aldrich replied back at victor's loss of what to do. He then listened as victor said he missed having wine "Who doesn't miss a good wine? Here have some more" He poured just a bit more for victor then for himself and sipped more, taking delight in it. He had a feeling this was going to be a very beneficial alliance. He just had a good feeling. Aldrich then snickered as Victor explained why johnny and loki got along "Oh well that's just peachy. No wonder johnny is living it up as he is. The king has his own reasons to help storm out but yeah, johnny is living the dream. At least somebody's dream"
"Pretty much. Tony got wise to my scheme of a virus that could enhance human strength. He figured out it was toxic, ruined me completely. Made me a fool of the scientific community. Pepper had a little help out with that. So yeah. Both of them are gonna pay. Just takes some time" Aldrich sipped his wine more, being a bit thoughtful now. He wanted his revenge. Maybe if he could get victor free maybe his royal connections could help get him to pepper, ergo get to tony stark. He then snapped his fingers at victor as he had a idea of how to placate johnny and loki "Not a bad idea! If you find someone they care about and genuinely bring them back alive, that'll sure as hell redeem you. Seems to me johnny is naïve enough to buy it"

Victor sighed. "I hope so. It's not going to happen over night." said Victor. Victor smiled taking a sip after Aldrich poured him some more. "Thank you." said Victor. Victor chuckled. "I got to admit he is quite attractive. Sometimes I wonder if I dated the wrong Storm sibling. But that's in the past. Even if he wasn't with Loki mulitple attempts of murdering him, his sister, Ben and Reed likely wouldn't win me any favors. Still got to find a way to at least get a truce somehow." said Victor. He listened to him and nodded. "Sounds like he's too smart for his own good and should have minded his own business. Reminds me a lot of Reed Richards." said Victor. He nodded. "Probably would be Reed with my luck. But I need a backup plan. Finding Reed, Sue, and Ben would take time. And with me stuck here it'd take even longer." said Victor. |

"Nah it won't but with my help I can probably get in it around a few months as opposed to you getting it back in about a few decades" Aldrich confidentally replied back. He knew he was talking a admittedly big game but he wasn't concerned, it would be worth it to gain victor's trust. He then shrugged "Can't focus on the past, like you said better focus on the present and not on the what ifs" He then pondered and replied "There's plenty of ways to get truces, like finding a close friend, basically worshipping them yknow the usually goody two shoes stuff"
He then nodded "Sounds about right. Too smart and way too moralistic. He didn't see my vision. But he will. Once I kill his pretty lady he'll regret ruining me I promise you. He's got another enemy here, obediah, he and I are working to settle our score with that bastard" He then nodded as Victor replied he needed a backup plan and that it took time to find people "That's where I can come in. I can find the resources you need so you won't have to leave this place"

Victor nodded. "I appreciate any help at this point." said Victor. He sighed. "For a while, I thought I'd have been better off forming my own army in Latveria. But since I'm stuck here I'm going to have to make the best of this." said Victor. He nodded. "I just have to find a way to get in their good graces." said Victor. He chuckled. "I'm sure he will. Although with the world in ruins down there you don't know who's left. Stark might have survived but no telling if his girlfriend did." said Victor. Victor nodded. "You know I guess with you as my master does that mean my country is in your control? I don't think it was damaged much. It'd be a great base on Earth if we could head there. Maybe that'd be enough to get my foot in the door." said Victor. |

Aldrich smiled at Victor's appreciation, enjoying the alliance they were making. He then nodded, replying "Afraid so. Like I said, joining up with the guy means playing by his rules. And we can benefit from the rules believe it or not" Aldrich nodded, replying "Trust me. If I can get into the King's good graces, then so can you" Aldrich nodded, pleased Victor supported his cause. He chuckled, shrugging "Well if the ruins got to Pepper, no skin off my nose. But part of me hope she's alive just so I can kill her myself" He drank more wine, sighing "Tony is alive. Said to be a main conspirator to commit treason. He's in charge of a rebellion or some shit"
He then sighed, admitting honestly "Temporarily, yes. But I'm trying to make it a permanent gig until you're back on your feet. But sadly, I only have so much time" Aldrich sighed, rubbing his eyes "Your kingdom is tricky. Loki is making plans to give it to his heirs, should he decide to have any. And there's rumors going around that he plans to" Aldrich moaned in annoyance "He's planning to start a family. Whether by adoption or by blood is anybody's guess at this point"
