(OCC: January 11th. Early afternoon. Hogun/Loki talking thread to start patching up their relationship and start off Hogun's path to freedom)
Trigger was rather insistent for having Hogun and him have words and to be honest, the god himself felt their was unneeded tension between the two. So with preperation, Loki sent out guards to retrieve Hogun to speak to him personally. The god didn't know what to do with himself with the rather quiet, softspoken warrior. He was the only one who failed to escape besides Thor. Saga and her sister Soma escaped, Fandral and Volstagg he learned were part of the rebellion. Sif was still wanted and missing in action. Loki looked down at his throne and remembered the last time he was announced king that Hogun was the only one who didn't seem to hesitate in bowing to him. The last one to rebel against him. The only one who seemed to truly like him.
How he treated Hogun was out of resentment. Resentment he still felt. Maybe talking with him would relieve him of that resentment. And keep the mute telepath out of his hair for not being fair to Hogun. How he put up with Trigger was beyond him, either it was because the mute was so respectful and likeable or it was because Trigger knew his place. Either way he accepted this despite himself. He saw the doors open and guards bring in a seemingly nervous Hogun. Loki tried to seem indifferent but there was a tense look in his eye "You can leave us" He said to the guards who bowed and left. "It has been a while, hogun" He replied, a bit regretfully.

"Yes it has." said Hogun. He rushed forward and pulled Loki into a hug before he could react. "I asked for this meeting because I wanted to beg for your forgiveness. I failed in my duties to you. As your friend and as your servant. I let you push me away when you were hurting. I should have pulled you closer. I should have stood by you when you took over Asgard the first time. My duty was to defend the throne of Asgard and you were the current prince at the time. My people nearly killed me when they found out. My father said I dishonored my family and he almost disowned me. My mother was able to talk him out of it. But now I see I failed you and the throne of Asgard. This is my punishment. Being a slave instead of a warrior. That I could handle. I failed my duty. But failing you. You were my best friend. Part of me still considers you my friend. I wish I could have done it over and protected you. From Thor, Laufey, Odin and everything. And yet I'm still here." said Hogun. He then dropped to his knees. "I ask for your mercy, your forgiveness and your friendship. I know I don't deserve it but I'm still here begging for it. Because I yearn for the old days. Hugging you, playing with you, and laughing with you. I miss that. I miss you. But if all we had was just a memory that can't be fixed then tell me now. I'll return to my new master and I won't trouble you any longer. You won't have to hear or see me again if that's what you wish." said Hogun. He then looked at the ground feeling too ashamed to look at Loki. He knew it was all in Loki's hands now. Would he return to Trigger? Would Loki want to give him another chance? Or would Loki decide to punish him another way? He wasn't sure what Loki was thinking and waited for the king to make his move. Loki

Loki was immediately on edge as he was surprised with a hug. But he didn't pull or shove the other away. Instead he listened. He listened with regret and sadness as his former friend explain himself. Begging for forgiveness for all that he done. Admitting he should've been there more in the past. That in the present he was unloyal and unfair to Loki. That he nearly was disowned from his family and killed for what he had done by his people. Loki was horrified, remembering that Hogun's culture took loyalty very highly there. Even if it was wrong to be so to a friend, loyalty was important in Hogun's culture. He listened as Hogun admitted that maybe he deserved this. That this punishment was for his disloyalty. That he wished to do it differently, that he considered Loki as his friend still and wanted the good times back.
Then Hogun dropped to his knees and even though Loki knew he was sincere before, this humble display showed him just as well as his words did. Once Hogun stopped Loki took some minutes to ponder. He then sighed softly, Loki bent down and held Hogun's shoulder "Hogun. I thought about this for some time and I have many regrets. One of them is leaving you to be enslaved" He sighed again "I have been changing far more than I had in years. I have a family that I need to be better for. A kingdom to take care of. But also, a friend to reconcile with"
He helped Hogun up and continued talking "We were best friends and we can continue to be so again. Your actions and words does more flattery to me than you think it does. I remember since we were boys that you would always include me into the group. That you would always defend me against Sif and Thor if I made a mistake or got the majority of us into trouble. That you, out of everyone, would always think highly of me"
He laughed sadly "Even when thor was banished, you never spoke disrespectfully to me. Sif blamed me, Volstagg mocked me, Fandral doubted me. You were the first to bow for me without question when I declared myself king before" He rubbed his face, sad at the memories of that admittedly rough time. He then replied "Before I truly decide your fate, I must ask you a question" He came closer and his face turned a bit accusing and cold "When I was pronounced dead, did you mourn?"

Hogun watched and listened as Loki bent down and touched Hogun's shoulder. "You regret enslaving me?" asked Hogun, trying not to sound too hopeful. He nodded hearing Loki talk about his family and wanting to make amends. Then Loki helped him to his feet. "You really mean that? You still want me as a friend?" asked Hogun. He felt like a weight had been lifted as he hugged Loki again. Perhaps too tightly but he was very happy. He let go blushing. "Sorry." said Hogun. He grinned as Loki kept going. "I still think highly of you. I used to think you lost your way but people stopped listening to you when I defended you. And I let them lead me down the wrong path. But you giving me another chance means more to me than you'll ev er know." said Hogun. Hogun nodded. "You were the king. I will always show respect to the royalty of Asgard especially the king. I forgot my duties as a friend and a soldier but not anymore." said Hogun. He paused at Loki's words as Hogun felt tears come to his eyes hearing Loki's question. "I mourned you every day. I even built you a shrine in my headquarters so I could pray for you. For your soul to find peace. And for your forgiveness. Your mother was the only I told. I feared Odin or Thor might be upset by it or tear it down. So it was just me and the queen. I don't think my old room's being used. I could show you it you don't believe me." said Hogun.

"Yes. I do" Loki didn't notice Hogun's hopeful tone, if he did he wouldn't mind it. He sighed "I do not want to ask for forgiveness. I wish to earn it. I have harmed a majority of those I loved all because of my anger. I wish to repay that in full" He nodded as Hogun asked that he really wanted to be friends. At Hogun's hug Loki was shocked once again but this time Loki smiled, gently patting the other, unsure what to do still. He shook his head at Hogun's apology "No it is alright. I haven't had a embrace like that in a while"
"Perhaps I did lose my way. But that is no longer the case. I will prove to the naysayers that I was meant to be a king. Even if I have to work hard to do so" Loki swore as Hogun told him he still thought highly of him. At the hearing of the fact Hogun felt like he was betraying his duty, Loki felt some sort of guilt. Hogun, like him, was just trying to do the right thing in his own way.
"You... You built me a shrine?" Loki was shocked. He believed Hogun mourned for him but not to that extent. Loki's eyes watered with tears of his own and he gave a soft, awkward cough "It is not that I do not believe you but... may we see it?" Loki's eyes looked mournful in his own way. Of the past. When he and hogun were much younger and didn't have all these stupid problems and changes. If only the present was just as good as the past.

Hogun smiled at him. "You can make things right sire. We should start with the Jotuns. You may have been raised here but you were born a Jotun. If you don't find a way to make peace with that kingdom they will fight you. You have a rebellion on Midgard correct? If the Jotuns rebel or word spreads then others could rebel. You can't fight too many enemies at once? It'd spread the army too thin." said Hogun. Hogun smiled at him. "I'm glad. I've missed that. Missed our friendship and everything about it." said Hogun. Hogun nodded. "Yes. I let you push me away. For so long I thought you hated me. But I still cared about you. You're one of my best friends and that will never change. At least not to me." said Hogun. He saw Loki tear up as Hogun looked at him sadly and hugged him again. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you upset." said Hogun. He nodded and let go of his friend. "Of course." said Hogun. He paused for a moment. "I understand you probably can't free me. Just don't take me away from Trigger. He's good to me. I'm like him and he likes me back. I think I'm falling for him. No one's ever wanted me before. It was always Thor, Fandrall or Volstagg. I even saw some wanting to be with you. I finally found someone who wants to be with me. It may not have happened if you hadn't punished me like this so I thank you." said Hogun. He then looked around remembering the guards were outside. "So will the guards escort us? I am still a slave after all." said Hogun. Trigger

"I can make a alliance with them, yes, that is what many people in my council suggested" Loki replied. He then cringed at the midgardian rebellion "The midguardian rebellion is my primary concern. Mostly because there are people in the rebellion that are of important interest alive" He sighed "You're right. Even Gods need more friends than enemies"
"I missed it also. As sentimental as it may be, I do miss when we both could enjoy each other. I wish it to be like that again" Loki confessed, looking down, ashamed at how hard he tried to keep his emotions down. But they were coming up again. First romantically, now it was all relationships. His reunion with his brother made him more sympathetic, caring and understanding. If it weren't for Evan and his advice, he probably wouldn't have realized how important he needed to keep his bonds.
"No I am reacting out of humility, hogun. I.. I just didn't believe anyone would be so committed in my honor" Loki was always second best. Everyone always paid attentions to his friends or his brother Thor. Loki was treated like garbage by peers because magic was more of a woman's job. Loki was one of the few men to take the practice at the cost of bullying. It was only when Hogun protected him and Thor saw what was going on, was when people started seeing Loki as a advantage.
Loki listened to Hogun as he stood up for his master, also lover it seemed, and begging him to not be taken by him. Little did Hogun know was that the other man was convincing Loki more and more to free him. Trigger was the reason Loki called him in the first place. And the man was right. Loki was unfair to Hogun. Loki smiled softly, affectionately "You are never going to be taken away from Trigger as long as he, you and I live. The mute master of yours actually came today. He spoke in your favor. Saying I was too cruel to you. That you loved this kingdom and it's king" He smiled wider "Your master is a good man. He's right about you. All of it"
"No. It is alright. I think I want to see this just by myself. It is a shrine after all" Loki calmly replied. He was going to set Hogun free. His mind was starting to be set. He looked at Hogun and replied "Just take me to it. Please"

Hogun nodded. "I'm sure you can work something out." said Hogun. He nodded again. "I'm guessing some Asgardians ended up there. I haven't heard word of Queen Frigga, Sif, Fandrall, Volstagg, Saga, or Soma. Do you know if they live? Are they hiding somewhere? Did they join this rebellion?" askeD Hogun, curious. Hogun grinned. "I remember we did have a lot of fun. I even took the blame for you a few times. I may have ended up cleaning this place a lot but it was worth it. I did help you with a lot of your pranks and jokes so it felt right taking the fall for you." said Hogun. It went unspoken how Hogun felt about the king. While he had been loyal to Odin when he was on the throne he hated how he treated Loki and Thor over the years. He was often more harsher on Loki and yet treated Thor like "the golden child" at times. He should have treated them both equally as his sons and in a way screwed them both up. "Well you believe it. I would swear a magical vow of loyalty to you if you wished it." said Hogun. Hogun sighed in relief as Loki said he wasn't going to be taken from him and he blushed as Loki said he was talking with Trigger about him. "You both spoke about me?" asked Hogun, a bit stunned. Hogun nodded. "Then we'll leave right away." said Hogun. He paused for a moment. "I think you should lead the way. I am still a slave. My former rank means nothing right now." said Hogun. Trigger

Loki was glad Hogun was so confident in his abilities. It boosted his ego and confidence. Then when asked about asgardians possibly being on earth, in particular to Sif and Frigga. He gave a soft, disappointed sigh "They must be in hiding because neither of them were found here. They may have taken secret refuge on earth. Yet the rebellion was harder to find than I expected. Perhaps they were not as foolish as I previously thought. Still, I do not know exactly where they are. For curiosity sake mostly I'm trying to find them" He didn't really care about Sif nearly as much as Hogun or Thor. Sif was especially not kind. So he had no other thoughts than to put the bratty warrior in a cell. His adopted mother on the other hand was a different story. Due to her loyalty to her birth son and husband, it would be no doubt she'd try to go against him, if to 'reason' with him. But Loki still felt primarily concerned for her safety. She was going to be sentenced to be his advisor but she escaped due to fear of being captured like Odin was. If only he could explain to her...
"Yes. You always did. Much to my surprise" Loki smiled, remembering all the memories of their younger selves. Loki felt a pang of regret then. Why must the past always be better than the future? He looked to Hogun and replied "Underneath my royal rough exterior, I still remember all those good memories, Hogun" Loki then widened his eyes as Hogun exclaimed that he'd do a magical oath if he had to for Loki's sake. This brought up the unspoken topic "Might I ask what is your honest opinion on Odin then? Surely you must have one. If you would swear to me, what does that mean for the one eyed king? I am curious. Do not be afraid, be honest with me"
"We did. Trigger insisted to talk about you. He saw one of my guards abuse you. Which lead to us giving ideas on how to keep our slaves but give them more rights. Then he started to say that you were of no threat and if anything, I would find extreme loyalty in you more than any of my people. That he was afraid for your safety" Loki replied, giving a smile "I saw in Trigger's eyes this spark. There was passionate fire in his eyes. I think he fancies you... But I take it you know this already. Considering I see the same fire in your eyes"
"Yes let us go" He then nodded softly as he was told to lead the way. He took a long walk, listening to Hogun's directions to get there. Eventually they made it to the old room. It had not been used yet. Due to Loki's uncertainity to enslave Hogun in the first place, anger filling his mind rather than logic, he left the room untouched until further notice. Now that Hogun was on the path to freedom, this old room would be his once again. He opened the door to the room then was lead to a closet. He swallowed nervously "I am sorry, Hogun. I am a king and need to not be so vulnerable but... I cannot open the door. Can you?"

Hogun nodded. "Well they're alive I hope. It would take a lot to take any of them out." said Hogun. Hogun grinned. "I had to surprise you back somehow." teased Hogun. Hogun nodded again. "I had hoped. I knew I could never forgot. Even when I thought you hated me our time together would always be special to me my friend." said Hogun. Hogun looked at him and sighed. "I didn't always agree with his decisions just like I disagreed with some of yours. But the way he treated you and Thor was wrong. At times he didn't seem like a good father, or a good king. I often considered him more of a tyrant at times. He seemed to care for the queen but that was it. I never said anything not wanting to get into trouble and hoping Odin would change." said Hogun. Hogun paused listening to him and blushed a little realizing Trigger had shared their adventures and spoke up for him. "Trigger's good for me. He did help me when I needed it. Without a weapon I was nearly defensless against the guard. And he had no knowledge of my past." said Hogun. Hogun smiled. "You're right. I never thought anyone would want me before him. It was also Thor or you or Fandrall or Volstagg. I suppose it's selfish to not want to let him go but I'm glad he wants me. I only wish I could retur his voice. He was hurt on Earth before coming here and I just wish I could help him as much as he's helped me." said Hogun. Hogun led Loki to his room and the sthrine. He nodded opening the closet revealing several things of Loki's. Daggers, old clothes, potion bottles and there was even a small portrait of Loki. "It was a surprise for the queen. My final addition to the shrine. It wasn't like having you here but it was the closest thing I had." said Hogun. Loki

"Indeed it would be" Loki nodded. It'd definitely be difficult to kill or imprison them all. Which was why some would be given the opportunity for freedom. At least ones that knew family members of his. The rest were not really any of his concern. Plus he needed more slaves. Since he was planning to release Hogun and maybe Thor. He then gave a soft chuckle as Hogun replied that he had to surprise him somehow. "Those memories were always important to me Hogun. You have been important to me and you always have been, even in my anger" Loki replied softly, looking down sadly, feeling a bit more regret.
Loki nodded, listening as Hogun replied that he did have loyalty to Odin. But he didn't approve of many of his decisions. Such as his favoritism between him and Thor. Going so far as to say he felt Odin was more of a tyrant who only cared about his power and wife. But Hogun wanted to be humble so he didn't say this to anyone. Hoping for a change in the king. Loki shook his head, giving off a sad tone "That old fool will never change. It's too late for him. Far too late. I shall be a better king than him, mark my words" He then smiled to hogun "I am glad for your sincerity hogun, thank you"
"Well, that won't happen again. Anyone who disrespects slaves in the highest regard shall be punished, unless said slave is a war captive or captured criminal" Loki replied before sighing "I am trying to change the rules for slavery. Make it more like servantude I suppose" He then listened as Hogun talked more about Trigger and his friends. Although he felt selfish, he was delighted to have Trigger as his love. That he felt bad that the man suffered being mute. Loki gave a hum "Perhaps I can offer something to him"
Loki held his breath as he witnessed the touching shrine. There was a portrait of himself when he was a bit younger, seemingly twenty one in human years, beaming with pride and excitement. It was Loki's first royal portrait ever and Loki remembered being so excited that he couldn't stop smiling. He had his horned helmet on, which was glowing bright. Loki nearly teared up, wishing that he was as innocent now as he was then. Then he saw the daggers, all carrying memories within. One of them was the one he took when Thor wished to confront Laufey, the night which ruined everything. Some old clothes and potion bottles, all of which were his. Hogun really did care. Really did miss him.
After realizing all this, he came back to the present to realize Hogun did this not only because he missed him, but to also comfort his mother. Loki couldn't help himself, tears streamed down his face. Realizing what he did to Hogun was true and utter betrayal. How could hogun even stand the sight of him? Loki turned to hogun and gave him a huge hug "Hogun, I cannot believe what I have put you through. I beg your forgiveness"

Hogun nodded. "I'm glad to hear that. Part of me was afraid you'd tried to forget or truly hated me. I wish I could take away all of your pain even if I had to put in on myself. You went through too much and you no longer had me to lean on." said Hogun. Hogun sighed. "Perhaps you are right. And I have faith in you. Just like I always have. Even when I didn't show it." said Hogun. Hogun shrugged. "I hope you can find a balance. Slaves aren't toys you can break or toss away when you get bored with them. Or for your own amusement. They should have rights even if it's limited rights." said Hogun. He was quiet as Loki looked at the shrine and then Loki hugged him. "It is nothing. I hurt you far worse. But if you wish forgiveness from me you have it. I never blamed you for any of this. Only myself. I hope you can forgive me in time. So we could be the friends we once were. Or better." said Hogun. "I could never hate you Hogun. I don't think it'd be possible for me to do such a thing for you" Loki replied softly. He smiled sadly as his friend confessed that he felt guilt for not supporting him when needed. Loki shrugged sadly "It isn't your curse to bear. I never told you what I learned about myself. I never really explained my issues. It didn't help that Sif tended to drive me away" He sighed angrily. Sif and him never got along, even as young children. Sif always preferred Thor over him and tended to look down on Loki.
"Your faith in me is deeply appreciated. Truly" Loki replied with a grateful tone. He smiled, patting the former guard's shoulder in gratitude. The more they talked, the more Loki was believing Hogun should've been set free. He then nodded about Hogun's patient advice about treating slaves differently or at least give them more rights. He nodded calmly "I concur with your statements Hogun, something must be changed in the laws for servitude and slavery"
Loki then listened to Hogun's words about that Loki would recieve his forgiveness. And that he wished for Loki's eventually. That they could be the friends they once were. Loki stopped hugging Hogun and wiped some of the leftover tears on his face. He smiled sadly "Hogun, you truly are without a doubt the most loyal person I ever had the pleasure of knowing. We can definitely be what we once were again. But first..." He then snapped his fingers and in a instant Hogun's collar was pulled right off. Loki grabbed the collar and replied "As of today, you are freed and will resume your position as high royal guard. You are in charge of the guardsmen in this kingdom and will be equal partners with your former master. As for Trigger, he will also be promoted to humanitarian member of the council. So he can address the slavery problem" Loki replied with a soft smile "I have been wanting to set you free for a while. Especially after realizing our history. I hope this can start my earning of your forgiveness despite you giving it to me"

Hogun smiled at him. "You really don't hate me?" asked Hogun, in shock. Hogun chuckled. "It's not your falt the others never gave you a chance. Thor was the only other one. And despite what he wanted you two started to drift apart and so did the two of us. I know Thor regrets it too. I hope I don't have to lose him. I don't think Volstagg, Fandral, Sif, Soga, or Soma will understand. But Thor and the queen will. They know my loyalty and devotion to you. There was even a time I even had feelings for you." said Hogun. He blushed at the admission. "But we both ended up with our the ones met for us. Our soulmates." said Hogun. He grinned glad Loki was taking his words to heart a bout the slavery. He nodded. "I would like that very much Loki." said Hogun. He gasped as the collar fell off him and Loki grabbed it. "You're giving me my old job back and giving Trigger a promotion?" asked Hogun. He smiled and hugged Loki tightly. He then let go with a chuckle. "I'm glad you waited till now. If you'd done it too soon I may not have gotten as close to Trigger as I have now." said Hogun.

Loki shook his head at Hogun "No. Nor will I ever hate you. I can't. You've been too good to me in the past and in the present" Hogun then turned to hogun, listening to him as he assured him. Listening to hogun admit that it wasn't his fault was comforting. It was healing for both of them. A way to move on and grow as adults at last. He then chuckled a bit as Hogun admitted to having feelings for him before nodding at being with their soulmates now. He responded "You flatter me, my friend. But yes, we are with the ones we belong with now so it all comes together"
He then smiled and nodded calmly as Hogun asked if he was truly serious about freeing him and giving Trigger a promotion. He hugged Hogun back and laughed a little about Hogun's admission that he timed the freedom well, that if not now then he wouldn't have gotten closer to Trigger. He replied "There is no one more suited for a humanitarian's job than your former master Trigger. As for you, you are best suited for your old job, there is no one else better at it than you" He then responded "And as for the timing, I truly am glad you are happy with Trigger. He does seem like a fine man"

Hogun smiled at him. "It all worked out in the end." said Hogun. He grinned as Loki hugged him back. "You'd make me captain of the guards again?" asked Hogun, grinning. Hogun smiled. "He is." said Hogun. His smile faded as he thought of how Trigger was treated. "I hate how Earth treated him. He was treated almost as badly as Prince Evan. In some ways even more. If he didn't have his telepathy he couldn't even communicate. I just wish I could do more for him." said Hogun.

Loki smiled and nodded before replying to hogun's comment "Yes I would and I am for sure giving you back your old title. It is the least I can do" He then listened as hogun made a case for trigger. Loki nodded sympathetically "Perhaps I will speak with him and give him options. He can have a option where he can control a voice at will. That way if he genuinely does not wish to talk and would prefer sign language and the like he can always turn it off. Or if he does not want a voice at all to give him a different ability to help him more" He then replied to hogun sympathetically "If trigger was as badly treated as he was, he might not be open for help. He may feel guilty in asking for it. And it might make him feel like he is a burden to us. But rest assured I will try to speak to him"

Hogun smiled. "Captain Hogun." said Hogun, feeling kind of nostalgic. It hadn't been too long and yet felt like it had. "Thank you." said Hogun. He nodded. "At least try to convince him when you can. Please. I want him to be happy. Those monsters took his voice and hurt him. Just like they hurt Prince Evan. You're helping the prince but Trigger needs help too. Even if he doesn't know it." said Hogun. He sighed. "If he says no I don't want to force him. I won't' be like those monsters on Earth but let him know it's a standing offer if he changes his mind later." said Hogun. Hogun nodded. "I know but that's why I have to ask for him. He may never ask for himself because he's ashamed, or afraid. But he deserves better. I want to help him however I can." said Hogun.

Loki smiled at hogun's reaction and gratitude, despite the fact it was he who should've been grateful it was hogun who was humble here. It made him feel inwardly worse of how he treated him but he vowed to continue on this path of righteous behavior. He then listened to hogun plead for loki to speak with trigger about his voice and options to help him. Loki nodded "I completely understand and will do my best to convince him that a voice might help him. But I warn you hogun, he might believe he is happy without one"
Loki then nodded "There will be no force involved hogun. He will make a choice but I will show him that a voice can be useful and can make him happier. I will do my best to let him know my services" He understood where hogun was coming from. He did. He felt the same for johnny. He would do anything to make the other happy. But sometimes what you thought made the other happy might not make the other feel happy. He needed to be careful but he also felt it was best to try and reason for trigger. Especially for hogun's sake. Since the captain wanted trigger to feel rewarded for his good behavior.
"While I will talk to him about my options to give him a voice, you being there for him by spending time with him seems to make him happy. He talks about how much he appreciates your company. Perhaps doing that might also help him" Loki only suggested this from what he witnessed from trigger. The man was a open book when he loved someone. It was no different from a high school sweetheart romance. Or a happily married couple. The thought made loki smile. He nodded giving a sad look "Trigger might have been told for quite a long time that he deserves to be treated unhappily. It might not be about fear. It might be genuinely because he feels it is not what he needs or deserves"

Hogun nodded. "If he won't take a voice then maybe offer to help him other ways. Help him train those powers of his. His training could be iucomplete. He might be even stronger with your help. I just want to help him however I can. But I have no powers of my own. I'd search the archives if it'd help but you probably could help him faster than I could." said Hogun. He smiled. "So you two have spoken a lot I see. I'm glad. It would make him happy if you approve of him." said Hogun, nervously. Hogun sighed. "Then I will show him he deserves it. Even it takes the rest of my life to do it. I just wish I could take away some of his pain." said Hogun.
