Rough Patches

[Loki]

(OCC: Tempted to do a thread with hogun, loki and trigger so we can commence the plot where trigger gets a temporary voice)

"I understand, hogun. However, it seems if he can spend so much time with communicating his thoughts with his magical abilities he might just genuinely not be interested. Something tells me if he wanted to talk, he would. Something other than ability is preventing him from wanting to talk. I might have to inspect his reasoning if I have a word with him" Loki wasn't too sure or comfortable with forcing trigger to do anything. He was already gaining a reputation to be forceful as is. He didn't want to fuel any fires. He wanted the people's loyalty, and that including trigger. If anyone were to backstab him, it would make him less respectful as a king. But he didn't feel comfortable telling hogun these things.

"Well yes. Mostly because he asked to talk with me. Trigger is a gentle man. He means well. And promoting him as humanitarian of asgard will only further assist him in assisting this kingdom" Loki said with a gentle smile. He did like trigger. He was a kind man and he meant business. Two things loki felt he needed to be a good king. Loki turned to smile at hogun and replied "Well I have to approve of him. He is courting you, my dear friend, after all"

He then sighed nodding as hogun wished he could get rid of trigger's pain. Loki looked down at the floor at that, thinking similarly to his brother evan and his son john "I too know what it is like to wish your family didn't have to suffer so much. But there is a saying that pain can make you strong. It is a rather cruel saying but a saying nonetheless" He turned to hogun and replied "Trigger from what I understand has come from a place of serious trauma. What it is I do not know but whoever was cruel to him must've did it for long enough to frighten him into silence. But regardless, perhaps you and I can work something out together" Then loki snapped his fingers, his eyes bright as he had a idea "Hogun. I think I have something that might help him"

[Hogun]

(ooc: To Hogun talking is overrated. Trigger lost the ability to speak while hogun rarely spoke before. He'd give his own voice to Trigger if he could. Or share it somehow. One got it at daytime and one at night or something like that. xD)

Hogun sighed.

"Maybe you're right. I just know he was hurt just as bad as Evan. Maybe worse in other ways. Part of me wishes I could heal his pain. I'd give my own voice to him if I had magic of my own." said Hogun.

Hogun smiled.

"Yes, he is. A humanitarian? That sounds like a good idea." said Hogun.

Hogun grinned sheepishly at his words but pleased at the same time. He then paused in alarm.

"You didn't threaten him did you?" asked Hogun, nervously.

Hogun smiled.

"I hope so. I just wish I could help him more. Somehow." said Hogun.

When Loki spoke again Hogun was curious.

"What do you have in mind?" asked Hogun.

(OCC: Yeah I was thinking something along the lines that hogun and trigger could share a voice now. But like hogun will still sound like him but trigger could sound different because he's a different person. And they can have it for a certain period of time. Hogun is a soilder and will need it for battle so he can have it during the day and trigger can have it at night. I'll make the thread for the three of them so trigger's voice plot can start. Now that you gave me that kind of sweet idea I am for it to be a permanent solution lol)

Loki nodded understandingly but his eyes widened with a good idea to make trigger and hogun be somewhat satisfied with the idea of trigger speaking. He smiled to hogun, aware of his concern for trigger "Perhaps you can. I have a idea that could help with this dilemna" He then smiled more as hogun praised the idea of trigger being a humanitarian. It seemed right for trigger to have this position. Why not? He cared about the people, why not work to help the people in a official title? It made sense and felt right. He nodded to hogun "Trust me. It will work for him to be humanitarian. It gives him enough power to help the slaves become more comfortable"

Loki then couldn't help but laugh a bit as hogun worriedly asked if loki threatened trigger. Loki replied "No no. There's no point in threatening him. I simply told him that you are a good friend and deserve the utmost respect. We simply talked. I simply asked what his intentions were and he replied that his only intention was to make you happy. He is a nice man" It was true. Out of all of loki's subjects, trigger was indeed one of the most polite. There was great power to him but trigger kept in under control. He seemed to be a bit of a pacifist but only fought when needed. He then listened as hogun insisted he wished to help trigger and then came his idea. He replied "I have a voice spell that could satisfy him enough to agree but also give him a voice. It's a spell that will make you both share the concept of a voice. You and him will have a certain timeframe with a voice, as in you will have it for a period of time then he will have it for a period of time. That way trigger can still use telepathy but also be able to speak. The spell will make you sound like you while make him sound like him. Your sound will be different but both of you will share the ability to speak"

[Hogun]

Hogun paused at his words.

"An idea?" asked Hogun.

He smiled.

"I know it would. He'd be good at it." said Hogun.

Hogun sighed a little in relief. He knew Loki would mean well if he did but he knew Trigger had been through enough. He didn't want him any more pain. Not if Hogun could stop it.

"I'm glad you like him and that you didn't threaten him." said Hogun.

He paused at Loki's words.

"A voice spell that we share a voice. I think he might agree to it. I'd give him my voice but I think he'd feel guilty. So sharing it would be a good compromise." said Hogun.

He pulled Loki into a hug so excited about the idea.

"Thank you Loki." said Hogun.

(OCC: Tempted to end this along with "Make Yourself At Home" So we can make new threads like a new romance thread for hogun/trigger and a thread where thor gets his titles back/bro time with loki)

Loki nodded as hogun asked politely about his idea. He also nodded some more as hogun seemed happy with his idea of promoting trigger to a new position. He then chuckled a bit as hogun expressed relief that loki didn't threaten him "It would be a disservice to threaten him. He hasn't been unkind to me thus far. And he treats you well, that is the most important thing" He may have not been hogun's father or family, but he did indeed value hogun as a friend and as such, felt protective of the man. He then listened as hogun seemed that sharing a voice was the best option anyway "Then it is settled. We shall make a meeting with him to discuss this dilemma more. And give him this option. It is what he deserves for his kindness after all"

He then was shocked a bit as hogun hugged him. He hugged him in return despite his shock though. He then replied "Tis no trouble hogun. I think that is the least I can do for you both. After all, you have been loyal beyond reproach it is only fair I extend myself to help trigger and you" He then replied with a smile "You are my friend. I do not deserve your thanks"
