Reason of Choice(Why did you pick this character?): one of my favorite and another mutant for pyro to hang out with. plus thought it'd be fun for cyclops to be cured by loki in a way. something humans could never do. allow him to see.

Personality
He's grateful for his glasses and visor that allow him to see. As he'd be basically blind without them. He's an expert hand to hand combatant which has helped him out on missions. As well as training other X-men. He's also an expert pilot often flying the Blackbird on missions. He's very diligent as a leader and member of the X-men. He can be funny and sarcastic when he wants to be. He's even polite to Wolverine when they first meet trying to befriend him. But soon a rivalry develops between them.
He has close friendships with many of the X-men especially Xavier. He views Xavier like a father/mentor figure in his life. He fell in love with Jean Grey and they became soon started dating. They were in love. He was annoyed and jealous of Wolverine's feelings for her and told him off to back off his girl. He loves riding his motorcycle and doesn't let anyone else use it. When Wolverine stole it a couple times Scott got annoyed but let it pass as Wolverine just didn't seem to listen to him. He loves teaching the other students and being a leader. He knows many of the others look up to him and it does add pressure to stay at his best. But he doesn't let it get to him. Having friends and a girlfriend like Jean does help him de-stress a lot. As well as sessions in the Danger Room.
Getting separated from his team and failing the world made Scott felt like he failed as a leader. He finds Pyro as the adopted son of Loki and will be cured by Loki and appointed John's bodyguard. Feeling grateful for Loki's kindness and wanting to make it up to Pyro for failing to protect him he agreed. he will try to get colossus on loki's army and keep storm there but fail on both counts.
History:
Scott grew up in Anchorage, Alaska with his father Christopher, his mother Katherine and his brother Alex. He grew up relatively normal. For the first few years of his life his power was dormant and hadn't activated yet. During a routine family vacation their plane was shut down. Katherine pushed Scott & Alex together tied together to the only parachute. Scott and Alex survived but their parents did not. Scott was hurt and was knocked unconscious. His brother Alex was put up for adoption while Scott remained in a coma for a year.
After he woke up he was taken to an orphanage. And then was taken into the foster care of the mutant criminal Jack Winters also known as Jack O'Diamonds. After Scott started getting headaches he was sent to a specialist that gave him lenses of ruby quartz corrected the problem. His power manifested at a construction site as he demolished a crane causing it to drop its payload towards a nearby crowd. Scott destroyed it with another blast but people thought he planned to kill them. And angry mob formed and Scott was forced to flee. Later Jack tried to get him to commit crimes and at first beat him after Scott refused. Scott was rescued by Professor Xavier and and FBI agent as Scott was taken to Xavier's school and became the first X-man.
He became the leader of the field team, but was second in command to Xavier. Over the years they gained and lost many X-men including his girlfriend Jean Grey. Others decided to pursue goals and dreams of their own and left to accomplish them. He also became better leader and better skilled with his powers. Soon regular students began attending the school who didn't join the X-men. Just young mutants who wanted to learn to control their powers in a safe environment.
One day they went to retrieve their latest mutants Rogue and Wolverine. But the Brotherhood had attacked them first. Everyone mistakenly believed they were after Wolverine but they wanted Rogue. Wolverine and Scott get off to a rocky start as Scott can tell Logan's interested in Jean. And soon they just grow to barely tolerate each other. After several kidnapping attempts where Scott, and the others end up fighting the Brotherhood Rogue is kidnapped and taken to the Statue of Liberty. Scott leads the group there where they are split up and end up fighting Toad and Mystique. He is trapped by Toad and Storm defeats Toad before Scott can get free. He uses his power to destroy the slime covering Jean's face and they reunite with Wolverine who'd beaten Mystique. But Magneto holds them in place so he can transfer his power to Rogue so she can use a machine to turn humans into mutants. But the process would eventually kill humans like its first test subject Senator Kelly. The process starts but the X-men break free and stop Magneto. Wolverine gives his power to Rogue letting her absorb it to heal herself so she won't die from using the machine. They head for home. Logan eventually leaves stealing Scott's motorcycle to Scott's annoyance. Magneto is arrested while Mystique, Toad and Sabretooth get away.
However things didn't go back to normal. As soon the world was attacked and they were forced to go into hiding. He was separated from his girlfriend and his team. One night while scavenging for food and things he was abducted and brought to the palace. To Loki. He has no idea what is going to happen and fears for his life. But Loki heals his eyes allowing him to see, tells him Pyro is there and appoints him Pyro's bodyguard. Cyclops agrees and then learns Storm and Colossus are alive. Storm is a prisoner here while Colossus is still in the rebellion. He's eager to see Storm and Pyro again and hopes to bring Colossus here too.
