Reason of Choice(Why did you pick this character?): Just one of my favorite film franchises. I'm play three characters from it. xD He's just really fun character.

Personality: He's a good hearted person usually putting the needs of others before his own. He's a loyal friend ready to help out his friends. While he does have a good sense of humor he hates Johnny's pranks and showboating. He is smart but not as smart as Reed or Doom. He hates his monstrous form and longs for the day he can be human.

History:
He's a former Navy seal. He also used to work for NASA and Johnny was his subordinate there. They didn't really have a good working relationship as Ben didn't really like Johnny. He's Reed's best friend and his assistant when he started going into more of his experiments. He's still good friends with Sue despite Sue and Richard's breakup. When Sue began dating Victor it made things awkward when they needed to ask Victor to help them with Reed's project on studying cosmic energy. They brought Johnny along and Ben didn't like that. He and Johnny just hadn't really gotten along before and being on this space station wasn't going to help much either.
But during the storm Ben went to try to fix a part and was hit. Reed, Johnny, and Sue went to try to get him out and were also hit by the storm. Dr. Doom was safely inside the cockpit of the space station but he was also hit just not as strongly as the others. Victor blamed Reed for this and eventually so did Ben hating the way he looked. At least Johnny wasn't stuck as the Human Torch all the time. He helps save some lives on the bridge but his fiancee sees his new form and can't take it. She leaves the ring on bridge saying it's over. Ben can't pick the ring up but Reed hands it to him and promises to help change him back.
Ben is tricked by Dr. Doom into believed Reed is spending too much time with Sue and not on the cure and with Dr. Doom's help he's finally cured. But then realizes Doom is after Reed and he needed the Thing out of the way and he knocks Ben out. When Ben wakes up he realizes they need him and reenters the machine becoming the Thing again to help the others stop Dr. Doom. He rejoined the group as Johnny and Reed had death traps for them while Sue had been left alone as Victor still cared about her. But she helped free Reed and together reunited they stopped Dr. Doom for good sealing him away in stone prison.
Ben meanwhile had found a new girlfriend a blind woman named Alicia and he loved her very much. Doom later escaped thanks to Silver Surfer's cosmic energy and in a later fight regained his human appearance. Doom teamed up with the Fantastic Four and the military to stop the Surfer. But it was all a plot to steal the surfer's surfboard. During this time they learned they could accidentally swap powers as Ben briefly became the Human Torch and Johnny became the Thing. Together they reunited and defeated Doom as Ben used a crane to send him into the see after Johnny temporarily absorbed all their powers to seperate Doom from the board.
Ben's powers were restored returning him to the Thing shortly afterwards and they watched the Silver Surfer take out but he was presumed dead in the struggle. He reunited with Alicia happy and watched as Sue and Reed got married. But then Loki attacked with a revived Dr. Doom. Alicia, Sue,and Reed weren't seen making it out only he and Johnny were. Johnny was taken prisoner by Loki and Ben vowed revenge for his dead girlfriend and dead friends and to free Johnny from Loki's control. He later joined the rebellion hoping to stop Loki once and for all.
