A Way In(Open)

[Jack Morrigan]

(OCC: January 20th. This is to introduce jack and to get the conversation for him being a spy started. Then by very early February he is officially their spy. But for now he needs to introduce him. Will introduce more of my characters next post. But here is jack)

Fear was a emotion jack did not like to express often. But to put it lightly he was terrified. He just arrived a couple days ago and was in inspection offices for both of them. Constantly questioned and wondered as a intruder. Jack did not want to die or be killed so he said everything and anything to survive. He apparently did well because now he was here, in the throne room waiting for a man named Johnny to decide his fate. Would he be a prisoner? Would he be a solider? Would he be both? It was up to johnny now. He was scared. His life was in another's hands. It was out of his control. Jack did not like being not in control. As he stood, patiently and anxiously waiting, he hoped that his brother was away from here or at least not here in this place at all. The golden throne and the golden room was beautiful but in this state jack was terrified. He heard the doors open and a man announced boastfully and proudly

"His royal highness, King Johnny!"

Almost immediately Jack saw a figure approach him but he, out of respect, looked down as he bowed. Jack played the diplomat perfectly and he was going to use it to his advantage. Jack didn't know what to do other than bow and speak. And speak he did. He talked calmly and professionally, determined not to let the king see his fear "Your highness. It is a honor"

Johnny smiled as he approached him. He rolled his eyes as the formal introductions.

"Do we really have to be so formal?" asked Johnny.

He sighed knowing he'd likely not get an answer. At least not one he'd like. He didn't bother sitting down as he walked up to Jack who bowed before him.

"Rise Jack. You have no need to bow before me. I 'm a former super hero and former celebrity on Earth. I'm used to people getting excited to see me but the bowing and kneeling I don't like. You probably heard of me. I was the Human Torch from the Fantastic Four. I ended up a slave and eventually a consort to the king. I'm surprised people are calling me king though since we haven't actually married yet." said Johnny.

(OCC: I changed my mind. More characters from me come in later. Wanna have a couple posts or so with just jack. Also I hope I explained how johnny knows his name without jack introducing it well)

The guard johnny spoke to only gave a mere shrug, unsure how to answer. Meanwhile, Jack was actually very surprised that a king would be so casual with him. This actually made things far less predictable. Ergo, harder to butter someone up. He had to rely on just plain luck apparently. He rose, looking at the man with some caution as he listened. Johnny explained that he was not really a king yet, as he was not married to the king himself. But like johnny, he supposed that because of his privilege of being a consort to the king just entitled him to that title. Jack then listened as johnny explained he was the human torch, a superhero that was well-known and apparently well-liked. Jack nodded and replied "Well. Um. That's interesting to know. Wish I knew you before cause I just got here" Jack then coughed suddenly, feeling a bit awkward now that johnny just completely threw him off by being so casual and humble. He knew how to play the diplomat and even the casual street-wise, but when he was prepared. Jack was not prepared. But he tried anyway. He was about to say his name when he widened his eyes with shock "Wait. How do you know my name?"

"King Loki was informed of your presence. He shall come shortly. He and johnny insisted on seeing you because of your claims" The guard said then, his attitude far colder than johnny's

Jack smiled then, ah the opportunity to save his own ass. He turned back to johnny, offering his hand to shake, hoping THAT would get johnny to accept him as peaceful. Again, he would not and he did not show any sign of nervousness or fear. He only turned to johnny with a calm expression and replied "Yeah about that. My claims are basically this: Listen I'm not from your earth or from asgard but I'm not here to hurt anyone. If anything I wanna help. I told your guards I can help fight this war going on. I could do anything. I'm a magician and scientist. One of the best. I can prove it to you if you'd like"

[Johnny Storm/Loga/Human Torch]

Johnny smiled.

"You just got here? So you must be new. Welcome." said Johnny.

Johnny grinned.

"My fiance usually tries to be prepared." said Johnny, at Jack's curiosity.

Johnny was confused.

Wait. You're from another Earth? That's possible?" asked Johny.

He glanced at the guard.

"I knew there were other realms but I thought there was only one Earth. Or Midgard as it's known here." said Johnny.

He turned back to Jack.

"You could help. Well, we have magicians. Not sure about scientists though. I doubt we have a lab here. But not sure how you could prove it." said Johnny.

Jack smiled as Johnny welcomed him. Maybe this would work out in his favor after all. He then listened as johnny explained loki was someone who tended to be prepared. He then waited as johnny asked if he was from another earth. Jack at that responded "Well um, no. I'm just from another universe entirely. My planet is kind of like earth but it goes by a different name. It's called Rakdan. It's a world like earth where there are humans but magic and science are crucial and many, many people rely on both to survive" He then listened as johnny said that there were many magicians that they have but they didn't have many scientists. And that they didn't really have something like a lab.

"Just give me a room and I'll make it into a personal lab. Well where I come from science and magic are kind of like how you do it here. Where magic and science is together as one. I can show you" Jack then released a spell where he unleashed lightening from his hands and he chanted a little bit and as he chanted a beautiful crown came into view before then turning into a snake then turning into a bouquet of flowers. He then bowed giving it to johnny "A gift of gratitude for you, Johnny. Take it as a token of my loyalty to you" He then replied, smirking amusedly "I'm also a very, very skilled warrior. I have been in war most of my life anyway. I can probably do a lot of things, like fight into battle or probably sneak into enemy bases to get information"

"There are all types of realms and all types of people my lord. At this point anything is possible" The guard politely replied. He then turned to see the door and replied "Loki shall be here shortly. Fear not um, jack, he will discuss how you can help"

[Johnny Storm/Loga/Human Torch]

Johnny raised an eyebrow.

"You're from another universe and another planet. Wow. What's it like there? I've been on Earth and Asgard." said Johnny.

He paused at his words.

"You'll get your room. Once you prove your trustworthiness. If it was up to me I'd give you a chance. But well we were already too trusting. There have been several attacks on me, my adopted son and my brother-in-law Evan. That nearly got two of us killed and my son nearly married to a creep who wanted to kill us and force him to give birth to his heir. If the bastard was still alive I'd kill him right now." said Johnny.

As he spoke his entire body ignited in flames. He paused realizing he got angry and the flames went away as he blushed. He was grateful for the fireproof clothing he'd gotten so he wasn't completely naked. Although he was sure Loki found it amusing when he accidentally burned his clothes before in previous transformations. He paused as Jack showed lightning in his hands and summoned a crown before turning it into flowers.

"Very impressive. These are lovely." said Johnny.

He took the flowers setting them next to his throne on a table.

"A warrior? That could be useful. We need all the warriors we can get." said Johnny.

He paused as the guard said Loki would be here shortly.

"Do not worry Jack. I won't let him harm you. You've made your case to me. I will ask my husband to give you a chance. However, if this is a trick and you're trying to betray us my husband's wrath will pale in comparison to mine. I will not let my family or friends suffer. Not while I can stop it. Is that clear?" said Johnny.

(OCC: Alright. Here's loki, feel free to have others you want as well if you'd like)

"Well. Other than the constant war, having a asshole try to hunt you down like a caged animal, it's pretty lit. I got a lot of good friends and my brother that help me out on the bad days so that's nice" Jack replied humorously. He tried his absolute best to get on johnny's good side. With that, he decided to use his sarcastic and humor oriented self out of the way and into the conversation. He then was told he was going to get a room once he was proven trustworthy. Johnny then explained that traitors and spies were all around asgard, and many tried to take his life, loki's life and his family's life. Jack was about to make a light hearted comment but then johnny unleashed his powers, and this made jack VERY aware of who he was dealing with. Instead of being humorous now, he was on defense mode and replied, as empathetically as possible as to pacify johnny "That bastard is rotting in hell for what he did to your son, don't worry. What you would do doesn't compare to the wrath he's facing down in the underworld. Trust me"

"I'd be paranoid too if I was you. No wonder y'all are edgy. Tell me how to prove myself and I'll do it" He then pondered and replied "Perhaps I can be given a test of some kind? Like a fight or a character study or something?" He then smiled as johnny was impressed by his magic. He then bowed "Glad you like it. You won't need to go to the florist anymore if you want more" His tone was once again lighthearted. He then listened as Johnny threatened him. He nodded, his face as serious as it could be "Crystal, your majesty. As of now, I only serve you and your fiancé"

He then heard the guard introduce Loki to him. Immediately, like he did with johnny, he bowed. He knew johnny was humbler but he didn't really know if Loki would be the same. And it turned out he wasn't. He then listened as Loki replied to him and jack responded with a smile "Your majesty it is a immense honor to meet you"

Loki had heard of the man named Jack. Who was a magician and scientist of some kind. But Loki was pretty antsy ever since Lord Jacob. So he was untrusting and didn't exactly want any chances. If this man who randomly appeared on asgard wanted to serve him, loki wanted to see him for himself. He was held back thanks to a meeting but johnny volunteered to see him and check too. Loki had no problem, johnny was soon to be his husband after all. He was planning the wedding quite soon in fact. He then walked and heard the guard say his name "His royal majesty, Loki" He then walked in and gave johnny a slight kiss on the lips, not noticing jack bow before him because he wished to greet johnny first "Hello johnny, I see you acquainted yourself with our new guest"

He then turned to see jack and nodded approvingly "You may rise Jack. It is good to see people with manners" He then nodded as jack continued to politely greet him. He nodded to jack replying "Well. I have heard your claims and wished to see you myself to see if you are worthy of my trust" He turned to johnny and replied "Well johnny. What do you think? I want to hear your opinion on this gentleman before I decide anything"

Johnny frowned.

"I'm sorry you've had to go that. But you're safe here." said Johnny.

He smiled at Jack's words.

"You're right. He is suffering wherever he is and not able to harm anyone here." said Johnny.

He paused at the word.

"I'm sure my fiance will have the right test for you." said Johnny.

He grinned.

"I suppose not. These smell as if they'd been picked from a garden. Impressive." said Johnny.

He grinned seeing Loki arrive.

"It's good to see you Loki." said Johny.

He smiled.

"He seems like a trustworthy sort. And eager to go through a test. Perhaps something you could give him. With your magic you'd probably know if he was going to pull something. And then we have telepaths here that could also read his mind if necessary." said Johnny, thinking of Trigger.

[Alex Gold]

(OCC: Okay screw it. I'm bringing in more people now haha. Starting with Alex)

Jack smiled, pleased Johnny was welcoming him. It seemed he was earning Johnny's trust slowly. Jack smiled as he replied that Loki would give him a good test "I'm sure. I'll prove to you my loyalty" Jack then chuckled as Johnny joked back. Jack paid full attention as Loki replied that he was indeed welcome. Jack stiffened nervously as Loki stared at him. Jack nodded profusely "Yes, your highness, I am willing and able to do any test you ask" Jack smiled even more, pleased Loki was willing to give him a shot. Suddenly the guard arrived with a friend he remembered. A friend he thought he would never see again.

Jack widened his eyes, stunned "ALEX?!" Jack beamed bright, racing over "Alex! Holy shit! You made it here too?!" Jack nodded, pulling Alex close "Yeah man I'm okay. They just wanted to be sure I didn't have funny tricks" He turned to Loki, nodding as he asked him about Alex. He wrapped a arm around Alex, replying happily "He's my friend. He's one of my best friends" Jack turned to Johnny and Loki "Your majesties, this is Alex Gold. He's one of the best trackers I know. Any person you want to find, he'll find them. He's like a bloodhound"

Loki smiled fondly to Johnny before nodding at what he had to say about Jack. Loki pondered for a small while before turning to Jack. He got closer to Jack, staring at him. He then asked "Are you truly willing to be tested if I decide you must take one?" Loki nodded approvingly when Jack confirmed that he was. Loki hummed, nodding "Well, I am good at sensing deception and I can see you are being honest" Loki put his finger up "You will have a quick visit with our best telepath to see your deception. But other than that, I see your potential. Therefore I think it would be best to welcome you" Loki then turned to see the guard arrive. Loki replied calmly "Guard, I understand some people wish to enter but we are in a meeting" Loki widened his eyes as the guard explained about Alex. Loki widened his eyes as Jack confirmed Alex "Oh, you know this person?" Loki hummed as Jack explained Alex's situation. Loki sighed "Well I suppose our new volunteers can't be put off forever" He turned to the guard "I told you to organize this better please"

Alex was pleased he was being given a chance to a audience. The guard thankfully believed his story, especially when Alex showed the paper of volunteer fighters. Alex had witnessed Jack being taken away and panicked, rushing after him. He explained by the door that Jack was no enemy and that he, along with Jack, only wished to join forces with Asgard. Alex rushed after the guard, listening as the guard bowed and explained "Forgive me for intruding your highness, but many volunteers have arrived. I have kept most of them outside to wait. But this person insisted as he was a friend of this Morrigan fellow"

Alex immediately rushed over "Your majesties, don't arrest him please! This was a huge misunderstanding. Jack wouldn't backstab a king, he only hurts people who deserve it" Alex sighed relief at the sight of Jack "Oh thank god, Jack! I got scared shitless when they took you. I was about to shout for you but they were racing off before I could" He hugged Jack, replying playfully "You always find trouble even when you didn't even do anything, you dumbass" Alex then smiled brightly as Jack introduced him. Alex bowed politely, replying "Your majesties, I'm sorry for intruding, I just didn't want any misunderstandings. I wish to serve you if you give me the chance"

Johnny watched the reunion and smiled. He then turned to Loki whispering to him so the others wouldn't hear.

"They could be spying for the other army. Or another Lord Jacob or Doctor Doom in the making. Anyone could potentially turn on us. I think we may need to start considering some truth or allegiance spells. So they won't turn on us. I mean if they choose to join the rebellion I suppose we couldn't stop them. But we need to make sure we trust everyone here. Especially with our kids. I'm going to have our children in a few weeks Loki. If just one person here is a future threat to them they need to deal with now." whispered Johnny.

Johnny was sure Jack might be trustworthy but he hadn't spoken with Alex yet. And they both could be good actors. He addressed both of them.

"No one is under arrest yet. But that may change in the future. If you fail this test or something or someone comes forward to incriminate either of you. Or another member of this army. We've already had two traitors that were dealt with. One is dead and the other may be wishing he was dead but is now a slave." said Johnny.
