History:
Dick's grew up in the circus but his parents were killed by mobsters who had been trying to force the circus to pay out protection money. And when they refused the Grayson's were killed in an "accident" with the trapese bars. Dick was left an orphan. The criminals were brought to justice and taken out of Gotham City to another jail. Dick was adopted by Bruce Wayne and as he grew up he learned Bruce was Batman and trained to fight as Robin by his side.
Together they fought off many criminals and gained allies in Alfred, Gordon, O'Hara and even eventually Batgirl herself. They fought off the villains attempts separately or even when they teamed up occasionally like when they tried to take over the world by kidnapping the united nation ambassadors. But all their plans failed. One day after crime fighting he removed his mask and was about switch out of his costume into regular clothes before a strange portal appeared and pulled him inside and he passed out. He awoke in a strange place and with his identity exposed to boot. He learned he wasn't in his world but another universe so at least his identity was secret in his world. But people would soon learn Dick Grayson and Robin both went missing so Batman would probably have to recruit another Robin and probably send Dick on an extended holiday. He decided to accept this new world as Loki had told him he didn't know of a way to send him back.
