Personality:
Despite immense strength, Heimdall is a unquestionably noble, dedicated and obedient warrior. He has a strong sense of justice, righteous and honor, hence why he usually avoids disobediance. Although, if someone is too corrupt, evil or violent, Heimdall will take measures to find ways to fight against them. He is a calm, composed, patient and extremely wise figure. He has immense tolerance and has a mystical charming side. Due to his all-sight, he has a tendency to take it upon himself to be super prepared or at least super cautious. He has a dry sense of humor which is based on his reserved, calm nature. He has a warm, kind heart but he tries to focus on his duties, therefore can sometimes come across as cold. However, despite his calm nature, he is always determined to make sure honor and nobility prevail above everything else.
History:
Heimdall was born and raised in the villages of Asgard. He had been blessed with his father's powers but was trained to be Odin's right hand advisor. However, due to his mother, and mother's side, being originally from Midgard, he could not become a royal. Odin had since changed these laws, offering Heimdall the job, but Heimdall refused. He preferred to take his father's place as gatekeeper, being the protector of Asgard itself. Odin agreed and Heimdall had stuck to this job for years. He had known Thor and Loki since they were babies and had felt almost like a uncle to them, usually spoiling the two whenever he could. However, he was aware of Thor's arrogance, and tried to advise against Thor's demand to Jotunheim. Thor didn't listen and this resulted in his banishment. Not long after, Loki took over and Heimdall could tell Loki had also changed in ways he didn't like. After Loki fired him from his duty, he tried to fight against him as he had discovered Loki was responsible for the Jotun's attacking Asgard. He was frozen but he forced himself out of his icy chains, helping Thor and the Warrior's Three fight Loki. Thor returned to Asgard and Loki disappeared, never to be seen for a long time.
That is until one day, Loki banished his parents, imprisoned his brother and enslaved anyone who betrayed him. Horrified by Loki's actions, Heimdall knew he would be next. Desperate to protect Asgard, he fled to Midgard, realizing Midgard was also in danger. He learned Sif, Fandral, his queen and Volstagg were here and agreed to join the Rebellion. If only to restore Asgard to it's former glory.
