Strangers Like Me (Open)

[Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier]

(ooc: January 23rd. Early morning.)

Winter made his way into the house sure it was empty. Or at least everyone was asleep. He thought he could just sneak in and grab some food. Maybe some other things like clothes and no one would be the wiser. His old clothes were starting to rip a bit. And he probably needed a bath. He snuck in deciding on a bird bath shredding his clothes and tossing them in the trash and "borrowing" some clothes from someone that fit him. And the smell felt oddly familiar. He grabbed some clothes stuffing them in a bug as he headed into the kitchen.

He began raiding the fridge looking for something to eat. When he heard someone come in he hid then grabbed them disarming them of his bow and arrow and making sure he had no other weapons. Before the boy could cry for help he covered his mouth with his right hand while having his left arm wrapped around his chest. Then his legs were wrapped around his so he couldn't get away.

"You going to be good? Or do I need to knock you out? I just need some food." said Winter.

When another came he lunged forward he grabbed the other man now having one pinned to the ground with his legs wrapped around them and the other carried under his arm like a rag doll.

"Any more of you?" asked Bucky.

Connor was making his way inside. It was late and he was shirtless. He'd spent a few hours training his archery and lost track of time. He headed inside and sniffed.

"Ugh. I reek. Guess I better go take a shower." said Connor.

As he headed into the kitchen he was grabbed from behind as he dropped his bow to the ground as his quiver of arrows was flung to the ground and the man held him while searching him making sure he had no other weapons.

"He-"

He gasped as a hand covered his face preventing him from calling out. He then nodded at the man's threats to keep quiet. Without his bow and arrow or any weapon he was defenseless and this guy seemed really strong. So he decided to play along for now. He saw Jack come in only to get caught as well as he sighed.

"Yeah. But you might want to get what you want and go." said Connor.

Jack walked in intending to get a midnight snack. When he saw someone grabbing Connor he rushed forward only to get snagged by Bucky and end up in his arms while Connor was know wrapped in his legs.

"Whoa. You're strongh." said Jack.

He nodded weakly.

"Yeah. There are others here. Like Connor said if you just want food then you're welcome to stay. But if you want to go then go. We can get more food." said Jack.

[Steve Rogers(Captain America)]

(OCC: Please forgive Casey, he is a well-intentioned idiot. Feel free for Bucky to attack. Will bring more people later)

Casey and Mikey both yawned, starving and unable to sleep. The two had met last night and gotten to know each other well. Mikey even liked this version of Casey as like a little brother. He knew Casey through their alternate father and Mikey felt a kinship with this Casey. This was why he agreed to keep the young boy company. But Mikey wasn't happy about being awoken by the teen human. Mikey was annoyed which made Casey apologize "Sorry Mikey, I can't sleep. Not when there's this war going on"

Mikey rubbed his eyes "I can. Believe me, you don't want Crabby Mikey. Crabby Mikey makes everyone unhappy"
Casey asked, curious "Don't you want some action to happen? Like real, honest to god, action?"
Mikey yawned "Ask me that again when breakfast is ready"

Casey loved hanging with the alternate Mikey and Leo. He enjoyed his version of Splinter but Casey was far more hyper than the rat was. Splinter was like a cool, collected uncle. Casey wanted to protect the people he had in his life but felt like he was being held back. Mikey was very similar but also very different. While Mikey wanted to protect his family, he was not above relaxation and laziness. In fact, he was far more relaxed thanks to having Leo around. Casey was ruining his vibe due to being far more energetic, impulsive and impatient. Suddenly, the two heard noise and slight arguing. Casey rushed out, replying "Who's that? Who's out there?" Casey then noticed Winter grabbing Connor and Jack hostage. Casey immediately grinned ear to ear "An intruder?! Casey Jones is on it!" Casey put on his hockey mask and aimed his stick right at Winter "Hey buster, why don't you do yourself a favor and let my friends go? Otherwise you'll have a date with Destiny!" He spun his stuck and aimed it right at Winter's face "Destiny is my stick, she doesn't like punks like you very much"

He then saw Winter hold onto the two tighter and this motivated Casey to strike. Casey sneered "Huh, not gonna drop them huh? Well let's see what Destiny has to say about that!" With that, Casey aimed to hit the stick right at Winter's face.

Mikey though was far more panicked, noticing Connor and Jack were hostages. He replied to Winter and Casey "Wait, wait, wait! Hold on! What the shell is happening?" He turned to see Winter demand for food from Connor and Mikey replied "Listen dude, let my friends go. Please, this is a misunderstanding" Mikey then widened his eyes as Casey charged at Winter. Mikey snapped "Casey! Wait! Hold on, man!" Mikey realized a fight was going to start and called for help "Hey! Somebody! There's a new guy here!"

Steve was just waking up when he heard a commotion and Mikey's voice. He got into his civilian clothes, grabbed a walkie-talkie to get backup and went out. He noticed immediately that some of his backup clothes were gone. But that wasn't the hugest surprise. The biggest surprise was undoubtedly the fact his best friend was right in front of him. His best friend. Who he thought was dead. Steve felt the world spin and his entire life change once again. Steve was so stunned he couldn't help but say "Bucky?" Seeing Winter's eyes firmly confirmed that it was indeed Bucky. So many questions came up but the main one on his mind was: What happened to him? Because so much clearly had happened to his friend that he didn't know where to start. But he did know that Bucky was not an enemy. At least not on purpose. Steve then noticed Casey trying to attack Bucky and he replied firmly "Jones! Wait a minute! Hold on!"

Winter paused and raised an eyebrow seeing a turtle and a guy in a hockey mask charge at him. Winter smirked pinning Connor and Jack under his arms in a choke hold while grabbing the stick with one hand and Casey by the waist with the other.

"I did let them go. Just like you said. Of course, I just grabbed them again. Maybe we can see if you can fly." replied Winter.

He then tossed Casey back at Mikey to stop the turtle from attacking.

"No one better come in here. Or else." replied Winter.

He blinked seeing another stranger.

"Why do you people have no sense of self preservation? I said stay back!" mentioned Winter.

He paused at the stranger who looked familiar but didn't at the same time.

"You look familiar. Maybe you were one of my targets. Well before HYDRA collapsed when the world ended." said Bucky.

Conner was stunned as he finally let go to breathe again but ended up stuck under the attack's right arm as he saw Casey get tossed like a ragdoll and his hockey stick in another.

"Great. This guy's super strong." replied Connor.

Jack gasped for air as he too was let go and trapped under Bucky's left arm. He watched Casey try to help them and get tossed back at Mikey. He then saw Steve arrive.

"Captain help us!" replied Jack.
