Personality: sarcastic, cynical, jaded, and protective of the jotuns. He pushes his men and his sons to be the best. Loki was stolen from him but he'd proud of how strong he'd become. And even in his betrayal and death made Loki a valuable son in his eyes. While his other son Rowan had been a disappointment. One he'd fled to Earth like a coward and took the name, Evan Thompson. A name Laufye took for himself so everyone would know he was Evan's father.
History:
Laufey was the king of the Frost Giants. They had a long war with Asgardians wanting to claim the entire planet and all the Nine Realms. Many died on both sides and eventually there was a truce. And Loki's son was stolen and his wife was killed in one of the attacks. To get himself another heir he kidnapped some people from several planets making them slaves for his army. He took himself a male Zen-Whoberis not wanting to take another female lover. Of course, he let everyone think his new lover died after the birth of his son. With the right glamor, his son looked like a Jotun and no one would know he was half Zen-Whoberis. He swore his men to secrecy pretending this was his lost son Loki but he'd renamed him to think it was his second son. And so the secret was kept. Evan never knew his mother was imprisoned in Laufey's room for years.
Laufey practically tortured Evan to make him stronger but being a half-breed he wasn't as strong as a Jotun. And eventually, he fled to Earth but not before Laufey turned Arion against Evan to be a loyal soldier. When Thor attacked the Jotuns and started a second way many Jotuns were killed. And Laufey was killed in a coup attempt by Loki to claim Asgard. The surviving Jotuns fled to Earth. And the slaves of fallen Jotuns including the king were given to the survivors as payment for their suffering in the new war. He fled to New Asgard escaping with the other surviving slaves and then fled into Asgard into hiding. Odin and Frigga sent them all back to their worlds but one stayed in Asgard using magic from Queen Frigga to disguise himself. To find his son. Laufey knew he was still on Asgard and planned to recapture his old slave but also his sons.
So he had a new plan and using one of his Jotun warriors he cursed his son Evan after Loki had enslaved the universe and nearly wiped out Earth. Some were brought to Asgard and others remained on Asgard starting a new war. Evan was supposed to kill himself and in the process, the ritual would activate and resurrect Laufey. It had failed but Evan had been injured in his attempt and was enough to complete the ritual. Laufey was returned and he assembled the few Jotuns that were left and moved to Vanaheim. And he enslaved the planet forcing them to obey him. He rebuilt a new palace in the icy mountains while the royal family of Vanaheim was enslaved and taken to his castle as prisoners. Laufey and his generals would impersonate the royal family when needed to avoid detection. And so far they were undetected. But soon he would begin making a move and start capturing people from Asgard and Earth again. He found Orichalchos stones that showed up day that granted him more power. He trusted them to his generals who wished to have it and to help make some of the slaves more obedient to him.
