I'd love for Atlanteans to show up. comic or oc.
Marvel:
characters probably would stay in the Jotun loyal to their king, even if he's a slave which make them slaves to the Jotuns. They don't like it but they're too loyal to their king to try to force him to leave.
DC:
Aqualad and other characters from DC universes where Aquaman was king. They would stay in the rebellion to help Aquaman protect what was left of the oceans on Earth and help win this war.
OCs:

or other worlds that had Atlantis.
although for drama they could be in the wrong army like other characters.
