A Little Help (Loki)

Johnny made it to the lake grinning as he was only in a swimsuit. Susan had helped him with maternity clothes and making his clothes not only fireproof but stretchy like Reed's clothes had been. And Evan and Loki had helped make his clothes magic proof. Before Loki ahd poofed. He hadn't realized just how busy a king could be. Loki had promised to be there for him and had practically disappeared. So Johhny was left with his own insecurities. And rather than talking to Sue about it, which might have been the smart thing. He'd fled to the woods for a swim in the lake. He was wearing a pair of red swim trunks only. He smiled enjoying the swim and occasionally putting his hand on his pregnant belly. He was starting to show a little. To people unaware he would look a little fat. As he kept swimming he felt something grab his feet tugging him under the water to a meroctopus. He'd had Johnny wrapped around the rope. Johnny tried to flame on before remembering he was underwater. So he tried tapping into his baby's powers but the tentacles just bound his hands tighter stopping him from trying anything.

"So beautiful. No wonder the king wanted you." said the octopus.

He grinned then pulled him into a kiss. He gasped pulling back as Johnny had bit his tongue.

"Such fire within you. Even now. Your powers don't work underwater and you are at my mercy. And stil you fight. I wish I could play with you handsome. Someone wants to speak with you and he's paid quite a lot of money." said the meroctopus.

Johnny struggled in horror realizing he might never see John, Sue, or John again. And his babies might never see them either.

"Please. Let me go." gasped Johnny.

He only hoped Loki had gotten his note in the palace.

(ooc: couldn't resist a little drama. a male oc based on Ursula & Morgana from the little mermaid. a bounty hunter hired by the jotuns to grab johnny. but feel free to fish fry him.. eventually. xd)

(OCC: I guess this thread is just Loki and Johnny only, unless later we include more lol. I know this is a foreshadowing to Laufey but just curious)

"Something is here. I need to find it. I need to go, Johnny"

He was aware that Johnny was someone who needed support. Johnny had always supported him, even from the very beginning when he was filled with doubt. Johnny, despite insecurities, was his biggest supporter and strongest confidante. He felt seriously awful for randomly leaving but there was news of spies and assassins. He never wanted to stress Johnny. Especially now that he was getting increasingly closer to giving birth. Sure, it had some time but doctors had told him that asgardian blood, and magical pregnancy, caused sooner pregnancy. But regardless of this, Loki had caused Johnny a lot of stress in the past and the king would rather suffer stress alone. Sue and Evan had told him countlessly to just be honest. That secrecy would only cause turmoil. But Loki didn't want to trouble his partner. Sue had called him out on this, saying if he was truly a partner, he'd respect Johnny and tell him. So, he decided to be more forthcoming. Especially since his guards now informed him that Johnny was missing.

Worried, Loki declared people to search for him. Loki went to the woods, knowing Johnny sometimes liked to go there. It was there he saw Johnny struggling underwater. With a rare creature Loki didn't see before. Loki shouted "Johnny! Johnathan!" He raced into the water, grabbing his dagger and stabbing the creature in the back. Maybe it wouldn't kill him but it would at least let Johnny go. Loki grabbed the creature by the throat, using his telepathy to communicate with Johnny Johnny. Johnny, you must flee! Run and don't look back! Go to the castle! I'll protect you! He insisted worriedly Don't worry about me. Just run!

(ooc: well we could include others later. maybe loki brought back up but went in first? I would like it to be just them for a little bit.)

Johnny shook his head. He couldn't flame on underwater but he threw blasts of fire and electricity at the creature. He was tapping into his baby's powers. He shouldn't be able to do either especially not without electrifying them but it was a magical ability. Johnny just grabbed Loki and swam to the surface managing to breathe in some air.

"Come on. We got to get to shore. That thing's hurt but not out yet. And if you think I'm leaving you alone with that think you're wrong. Seems you passed on some magic abilities to me. And for all we know he's not alone. You send me off and I fall into another trap." said Johnny.

Johnny fired a couple more magical blasts this time ice and lightning but they missed and hit a rock next to the octopus instead.

"Damn. My aim isn't good yet." replied Johnny.

Johnny looked up in astonishment as Jotuns began to appear.

"I thought they were all wiped out in a battle months ago." replied Johnny.

He paused using fire at the ground causing steam which dried his clothes quickly.

"Flame on!" replied Johnny.

He rose into the air and began firing blasts at the Jotuns.

"Guess you'll deal with the octopus. I'll handle the Jotuns." said Johnny.

The octopus was shocked as both Loki and Johnny attacked him as he was now free.

"Well, well. I didn't expect that. I was told you just had fire powers not magic." said the octopus.

He groaned at the attacks and lunged but was knocked back by Johnny. He swam after them as they came to the surface.

"You'll pay for that. I was supposed to bring him back alive but perhaps his corpse will do nicely." said the octopus.

The octopus chucked.

"Still a novice at that I see? And you were right about one thing. I'm not alone." said the octopus.

He smirked snapping his fingers to see several Jotun warriors.
