Reason of Choice(Why did you pick this character?): So Thor would have a familar face. And think Loki would use him easily as a soldier knowing his skills and to break up the warriors three knowing how powerful they are.

Personality: A very serious warrior with a pessimistic outlook on things. He never smiles and often predicts unfavorable outcomes for battles and situations. He very intelligent and rarely speaks. So when he does people take notice. He was fiercely loyal to Thor, Sif, Fandral, Volstagg, and Odin & Frigga even saving Sif's life in the battle with the Frost Giants. He went agianst Loki's orders with the others especially after learning Loki had planned everything and helped out Thor protect a town from Loki and the Destroyer. When Loki captured him and brainwashed him his loylaty was now only to loki the new king of asgard.
History:
Hogun is from the planet Vanaheim and not a naticve Asgardian. He was given the chance to move to Asgard and serve the Asgard court which he did without question. He met Fandral, Thor, Loki, Sif, and Volstagg as the six quickly became good friends. When Fendral was captured by the Dark Elves Hogun went with Thor, Loki. Volstagg and Siff rescued him.
A few months later he was with the others at the ceremony proclaiming Thor as the heir of Asguard. But the Frost Giants attacked interrupting the ceremony. Hogun went with the others defeating the Frost Giants who left. He later followed Thor and the others to their kingdom in retribution killing many of the Frost Giants. He saved Sif during the fight and Fandral was hurt pretty badly. When Odin came to save them he helped carry Fandral back to the palace. He was saddened to learn Thor's punishment and knew not to speak against his king's wishes as Thor was stripped of his godhood and powers and sent to Earth with the small hope of regaining his powers if he picked up the hammer. But the catch was he had to be worthy of the power.
Holgud working with the others learned it was all part of Loki's plot. He was heartbroken at Loki's betrayal viewing him as a good friend but like always kept his emotions to himself. He used the Bifrost with the others to come to Earth and warn Thor. Thor had already made some human friends including his girlfriend Jane Foster. Holgud helped the others protect the town from the Destroyer and Loki. But only watched in horror as Thor was killed by the Destroyer. Thor was revived by the hammer who deemed him worthy of its power once more and Thor destroyed the destroyer and weakened Loki. Loki fled back to Asgard with Thor and the others in pursuit while Thor said goodbye to Jane and his other friends on Earth promising to return. Thor dealt with Loki but unfortunatley had to destroy the bifrost trapping them all on in Asgard. Holgud reunited with Thor and the others at a banquet celebrating their victory. When Loki returned he was with Thor when Loki attacked. He tried to help Thor and was knocked out. Rather than killin him Loki had brainwashed Hogun and Thor to be his slaves. Hogun now serves Loki willingly as one of his soldiers.
