Reason of Choice(Why did you pick this character?): Because it's Couslon. he's one of my favorites from the avengers universe. and wanted to play him.

Personality:
He's an ordinary man who likes history and enjoys antique items. He even owns several classic cars and antique items. He's a big fan of Captain America and even hs a trading card set of him. He's not a strong fighter or a genius. He's just an agent doing his job. He;s keeps his temper in check and keeps a friendly attitude. He generally looks neutral with an occasional joke here and there. he does have a good sense of humor but knows when to joke and when to be serious. His brief death has shaken him up a bit but he doesn't let on at first.
History:
Coulson's life before joining Shield was pretty routine. He grew up with a loving family and in a small town. Upon joining shield he rose through the ranks and became one of their best agents pretty quickly. After hulk's rampage Fury told him to not worry about it as it was General Ross's problem.
Coulson tried repeatedly to set up meetings with Stark regarding his abduction and rescue but Stark refused. Pepper Potts and Obadiah Stane sent him information instead about it. Coulson got some informaton from Stane. Stane believed Howard Stark was a fool to give the company to a minor. Even though Tony has done quite well and surprised everyone with how good he's done over the years. Fury thinks Tony could be dangerous and sends Coulson back. Coulson is sent the conference where Tony Stark staes he is no longer producing weapons. Coulson and Fury learn Tony is now making the Iron man suits and tried to spy on him. But Tony detected the hack and destroyed the satelitte they were using to spy on him.
Coulson and some agents tried to stop Stane but were stopped thanks to his Iron Monger armor. After Coulson found Tony after Stane was killed he and Pepper got Tony to safety. Coulson tried to recruit Stark to Avengers taking him and Rhodey to the SHIELD headquarters. He gives him a script with a cover story hoping Tony sticks with it. Tony refused the offer and instead he outed himself as Iron Man and while watching Fury revealed Tony had passed the test as the cover story was a ruse to test Tony.
Fury then told Coulson to ask Natasha to help recruit Tony to their team. He also tried to recruit Mr. Hendricks to shield but that also failed. He was assigned as Tony's bodyguard for awhile and found a prototype of Captain America's shield in Howard Stark's casket in Tony's workship. Steve used the shield's plans to balance a machein he was building. Coulson was then assigned a different mission as he headed to New Mexico. On the way there he stopped at gas station that was being held up by two robbers. He handed them his car keys but then pulled out a gun and when the robbers got scared Coulson quickly knocked them out. He then grabbed his keys, paid for his snacks, amd told the clerk to keep the change and left. Once in new Mexico he was joined by Hawkeye and other shield agents to keep an eye on the enchanted hammr Mjolnir.
Coulson and his agents gathered all the data and equipment from Jane Foster, Darcy Lewis and Erik Selvig. Erik talked Darcy and Jane into letting them do it. It was here Erik revealed he was friends with Bruce Banner and Hank Pym and was sending copies of their work to Hank. Thor showed up to claim his weapon and Hawkeye was ready to take him out. He fought through several agents knocking them out or out of the way to claim the hammer. But when Thor couldn't remove the hammer Shield agents arrested him on Coulson's orders. Coulson interrogated him but Thor refused to answer any questions. Jane and Erik created a false identity for Thor called Donald Blake and freed him from Coulson. Coulson assigned agents to follow them not completely believing their story.
Coulson went with the group to another crater site and it was the Destroyer. The Destroyer killed or injured many of the agents and Coulson survived the attack. He met Thor who had regained his powers and had destroyed the Destroyer. Coulson offered his assistance. Thor agreed as long as he returned Jane's research and equipment which Coulson did. He watched Thor fly away with Jane for a private goodbye and later learned Thor had returned to Asgard to take out Loki. The remains of the Destroyer were then t aken to Roswell. Coulson later ordered a shield scientist to make weapons out of the armor. He then learned Steve Rogers had been found.
He met with Jasper and after talking Coulson learned General Ross wanted to free Emil Blonksy and call him a hero for fighting off the Hulk. But they agreed to send in Tony Stark to talk Ross out of it and Tony eventually did. Coulson then acted as Black Widow's boss in a mission in moscow to interrogate Fjodorov. After Fjodrov was killed Coulson aided Widow and helped her take down Richard Frampton a member of the Teng Rings group.
Coulson later was on the hellcarier with the assembled avengers. Thor, Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, and Bruce Banner. They learned Erik Selvig and Hawkeye had been brainwashed by Loki to seve him and Loki now had the teseract. Loki was captured but it was just a ruse to have some fun and set them against each other. Hawkeye arrived with backup and freed Loki and damaged the ship. Coulson used some weapons to injure Loki but Loki just killed him while an imprisoned Thor could only watch.
Working quickly they hired the scientist Hank Pym and with his help and parts from the Destroyer and Stark technology they created a new android body Vision. They were planning on it being a robotic member of the team but with Coulson's death Fury ordered Coulson to be implanted into it. And they also made Coulson look like his old self. He is currently unaware he's a robot now. SHIELD wanted to keep in the dark to hopefully use him as a weapon one day. But Fury and the others weren't sure of the effect it would have on Coulson and kept quiet. With the war and most of the world in ruins and SHIELD disbanded its agents scattered or dead Coulson sought out the avengers finding Tony Stark and the rebellion.
