Reason of Choice(Why did you pick this character?): Because he's adorable, funny, cute and like a medival version of Santa. Love this character.

Personality: Volstagg is pretty much a big old pooh bear. He's cuddly, kid-friendly, loving, usually hungry and always friendly. However he does have that warrior streak in him combined with his friendly personality. He also is usually one to be a great story-teller and jokester, he always wishes to fool around and make people laugh. He's loyal to his friends and always backs them up when he is needed. He's usually open-minded and determined, always seeing the grey area in things that are taken as black and white. Volstagg is not afraid to have fun even in the roughest of times but knows when to be serious, despite this battles normally make him enjoy it and have a great time.
History: Volstagg was born around the same time as Fandral and Hogun and grew up with the other boys during his life-time eventually making the warrior's three and becoming friends with Lady Sif and the princes of asgard not long after. Years have passed and the warriors three have joined in their adventures as well as make up their own during their life-time. Thor's coronation was supposed to be fun but frost giants interupted resulting in the angry prince going out to punish them, and the majority of them followed despite not feeling up to it. The result was him and fandral being injured and thor being banished for his rash actions. However, due to some mishap with everything, Loki took odin's throne due to odin falling into odinsleep. Loki refused to bring thor back and volstagg with the others went to successfully find thor. The rest was loki and thor battling, leading everyone to believe Loki did not survive. However he did and tried to take over Migard or Earth which leaved a majority of the people stunned due to the prince normally being so quiet and soft-spoken. Volstagg once he saw the return saw nothing of the loki he knew and instead a shadow of it but knew loki would suffer proper punishment. That is until he escaped, banished frigga, imprisoned Odin and brainwashed both hogun and thor. Quickly, Sif, he and Fandral ran off but got seperated from sif leaving only him and Fandral. They left to Vanaheim and joined the rebellion determined to get Hogun and Thor back to their regular selves.
