There's Something You Must Know (Loki)

Evan smiled at him.

"I can't really blame you. I never could. You didn't ask to be "rescued" by Odin and raised as an Asgardian and lied to for years about your heritage. Although I'm not sure if your life would have been any better in Joutenheim. Father probably would have treated you just as bad as he did to me. Maybe worse since you're the eldest." said Evan.

He paused at Loki's words as he went up and hugged him again.

"Don't blame yourself Loki. We can't change our past our make up for it. But you're here now. And the means a lot. That you care. You could have thrown me back in the dungeon or killed me thinking I was a threat to your throne. I wouldn't have blamed you then. We didn't grow up together after all. Heck you've made Thor a slave and you grew up with him. But you chose to treat with kindness, love, and respect. Treat me like I mattered. You're the second person I remember who did that. My ex-best friend was the only happy time there but father ruined that. And he just let my father break up our friendship. I guess it would have happened but I always resented my former friend for not trying harder." said Evan.

Evan paused stepping back a little as he listened.

"Wow. I'm the future ruler if something happened to you or your heirs. Alright. I'll do it." said Evan.

He paused as Loki spoke about Joutenheim.

"Perhaps we could join the kingdoms into one. I mean we're both Frost Giants and heirs to the throne. Since you rule Asgard now perhaps we could claim Jouteinheim as part of this kingdom. Or would that be counted as war?" said Evan.

Evan grinned listening to him.

"I guess I never really had parents. My mother died when I was too young and my father wasn't much of a father to me. But I have a brother. And that's good enough." said Evan.

Evan smiled hugging Loki again. Evan nodded listening to him.

"Well if I had to I'd go back to Joutenheim and rule there to keep the peace. To make the people happy. Even though I don't know want to. Maybe I'm not just meant to be happy." said Evan.

He blushed at Loki's praise before shaking his head.

"I abandoned my people and fled to Earth. I'm not a prince. I'm just a coward. Maybe they'd be better off with a new ruler." said Evan.

Evan paused with a frown.

'Odin took you from our family and then he hurt you. So I guess he his my enemy. I don't mind seeing him. Besides you won't be able to go all the time and you don't want to alert anyone else about Odin still being here. The more people who know the harder it will be to keep it a secret." said Evan.

Evan grinned.

"Yes. I hope we can make up for lost time now." said Evan.

Evan paused listening to him.

"Your consort is Johnny Storm? The Human Torch? Wow. He's really hot." said Evan.

He blushed at the thought.

"You're a lucky man. But wait. You said heirs. And well he's a guy. Are you going to have a harem of men and women and the others will give you kids? Cause Johnny won't be able to give you kids." said Evan.

Evan grinned at him.

"So the rumors were true. He started out as a slave. But you've fallen in love with him. How sweet. Not the most romantic though. Well perhaps you should show him how much you care. You know take him on dates, shower him with gifts. Whatever it takes." said Evan.

[Loki]

"Perhaps he would have treated me worse. Perhaps our father would've treated us equally terrible. It matters not anymore. He is dead and he will never harm you again. I promise you this. I don't care how long it takes, I will be a better sibling" Loki insisted, not very sure of evan's response of the fact that he wasn't blaming him. However evan's hug caused him to willingly hug back, smiling that he had his little brother back after all these years and finally knew he had a little sibling. He then listened to all of Evan's words and was touched that evan defended him and said that he was the second person to ever be kind, supportive, respectful and loving to him, excluding a friend who allowed laufey to force their relationship off. Loki responded "Well father isn't here to ruin your friendships or relationships anymore. I promise I will never allow anything to come between us, I know it is hard to believe that but I will make sure I keep my promises to you and to other people. Despite it being in the past, I will make the present far better than ever for you. I really do care about you as my brother"

"Splendid. But I doubt I'm going anywhere anytime soon, so you have no need to worry yet" He chuckled softly. He was glad evan was willing to rise to the occasion but loki had this greed still to keep being a king for a while longer. Besides, loki intended on having offspring for himself in the future even if his consort was another man, he wanted to be a father too not only for family lines but to genuinely try to be much better than laufey and odin combined. He always had a goal to be a good parent. As well as a good king.

"No it wouldn't be counted as war but the people do not like the jotuns and vise-versa, but maybe this can be arranged. We will have to see. I can't do it now because the people will protest due to the prejudice they have" Loki said, firmly and with a hint of self-awareness. He didn't want to reject the idea but he didn't see that it would work. So he just gave a maybe to make evan still feel valid, because he was. He then smiled as evan said he might as well not have parents and at least have his brother, which to him was good enough "I am glad for that. I am pleased you willingly call me brother" He hugged evan once more as he said this

"Nonsense. If you do not wish to go, you do not have to. You do deserve happiness evan. I will make sure the chitauri keep the peace. I would rather have you here anyway" Loki admitted, looking down at the floor before hearing evan speak some more. He then raised a eyebrow as evan continued to talk "What you did was out of your own self-defense. I do not call it cowardly, I call it more courageous than ever. Our so-called sire is much more cowardly to abuse you then you to not take it anymore. You are a prince evan, take advantage of it"

"He can be your enemy if you wish it. He is more of my enemy since I knew him more. But if you do not feel comfortable to see him, I can always make a guard go and be assigned to odin only. And only he would know besides you and me. That is if you do not feel the need to go" Loki objected, making sure evan didn't have to do anything he didn't want to. Maybe loki was spoiling him by this point, maybe loki was being cautious with his kindness, maybe it was both.

Loki smiled and nodded as evan said they would make up for lost time. The god smiled and then laughed a bit at his brother's reaction to johnny being his consort "I know. That is why I picked him out of all of them. I suppose I wanted him enough to just pick him before anyone else could" He chuckled, amused with himself but he then sighed realizing that he liked him more than just physically, he liked him for his stubbornness and wit and ability to be forgiving when he himself wasn't, as well as kind and charming. He turned to evan again who then brought up the "heirs" issue. He responded "He has a young friend named john who he wished for me to adopt. He is considered the first heir now. But as for my need to actually have more children, I am not having a harem. I might have to just take one person to be the surrogate mother or use magic of some kind to make biological children" He sighed unsure about how to go about it but so far those options seemed the best.

He then blushed slightly as Evan grinned all-knowingly as he admitted to falling in love with johnny. "Yes. The rumors are true. Yes it is unromantic but it just happened. He is impossible to resist, he makes me feel like I can be kind again, be loving to someone who I consider special again. I could not help myself" He then listened to Evan's advice and responded with a hint of excitement "Yes. Dates, gifts, perhaps I could take him someplace to make him happy. Perhaps I can..." He paced before widened his eyes "Perhaps I can take him out and release his collar as a means of love and trust. Then propose to him. Confess to him. Would that work?"

[Rowan/Evan Thompson]

Evan smiled at him.

"I guess we'll never know. You know what? Let's forget about Laufey. There's no need to mention him again. He clearly only cares about himself. I don't know if he cared about our mother but maybe she got off easy dying when she did." said Evan.

He smiled at Loki promised he'd be a better sibling.

"Thank you. As I said I'm willing to give you a chance. You're the only family I have left." said Evan.

Evan nodded.

"You had better not. We just found each other. And I'm not going to let anyone take you away from me again." said Evan.

He nodded glad it wouldn't be counted as war but it might still be a problem.

"Alright. Well I'm sure we can think of something to try to keep the peace." said Evan.

Evan smiled as Loki said he didn't have to go.

"Thank you. I don't really want to go back there and I'm glad I don't have to. Too many bad memories there." said Evan.

Evan grinned at as he called him courageous.

"I've never thought of myself as brave before. I thought all this years I fled like a coward. I wish I could see myself through your eyes." said Evan.

Evan nodded.

"I've never met Odin personally. I don't really care either way. I just wanted to help you out with Odin some. I don't mind if I see him. It's not like he can use his powers and nothing he says will affect me." said Evan..

Evan smiled listening to him.

"You're lucky you did get him to join you. But you need to let him know you care. I mean you did pretty much tell him you wanted him for sex basically. Not exactly romantic." said Evan.

He paused as Loki said John was his heir. So John would more likely inherit first than any of Loki's other children and then Evan. He looked at him with a grin.

"No harem huh. Well there's only a handful of women here. And they're all Earthlings I believe. Perhaps for your children's sake you should consider a human with powers of some kind. Just so your child will be able to protect themselves better." said Evan.

Evan grinned listening to him.

"Perhaps you should consider taking him down to Earth. I'm sure New York still has some places standing. Being in familiar setting might relax him and put him in a happier mood. You could always disguise both of you with magic so you wouldn't get attacked." said Evan.

Evan nodded.

"Yes. Removing the collar would be a good start. And confessing your love. Although proposing might be a bit sudden for the guy. I mean he's lost his freedom and then in a way became your consort so he has even less freedom. You would need to earn his trust and his love. Maybe wait a couple months at least to propose. Right now it sounds like mutual lust. And lust can lead to love but it doesn't always. He could fall in love with someone else if you're not careful. He might marry you if you asked him because he felt like had to as your consort. Not because he wanted to. And you don't want him to be with you because of that. That wouldn't be fair to either of you." said Evan.

Evan paused as an idea came to him.

"Loki. I want to take over the remaining slaves. The ones who have no masters. I wish to be their master. I've seen how the guards treated us. I know some of them might be your enemies but not all of them. They didn't fight you in New Mexico or New York. They're just humans you captured. I'll make sure they completely their duties. I just don't want to see them suffer. Laufey treated me like dirt and I ran away. But they don't have that option to run away. Please let me be in charge of the rest of the slaves." said Evan.

[Loki]

(OCC: Oh if only Loki and evan knew about the baby situation. Johnny, I feel, will surprise them VERY much XD)

"Yes, enough about our birth-sire. He is nothing to us as he clearly did not really care about anyone but himself. Perhaps our mother did get off easy, but her death is still rather unfortunate" Loki responded, confirming he wished to end the conversation about Laufey. Loki frankly hated it anyway. He couldn't stand the thought of Evan suffering the tortures he did. He then smiled softly as Evan said that Loki was the only family he had and he was happy to give him a chance. That also Loki was someone he just found and he wouldn't lose him again "You will not evan. Nothing is going to happen to me"

"We will. It will just take time. And patience" Loki responded as the discussion of the jotuhiem-asgard alliance was coming to a end. He then nodded as Evan thanked him for allowing him to not go to Jotunhiem due to bad memories "It is no trouble, Evan. You should not have to go to a place that gives you too many memories that are unpleasant" He then smiled as Evan said that he wished to see himself the way loki saw him "Perhaps you will someday" He responded assuringly

"Very well, that is your decision. I thank you for being so willing to assist me with this issue" Loki smiled as Evan said he was fine going to see odin once they took care of him. He confirmed a silent end to that conversation by changing the subject, and luckily it was a subject he took seriously. He nodded, some guilt evident in his features "You are right. I did. Not a good way to start things out obviously. I did not think this through at first" He sighed, rubbing his face before continuing about the possibilities of children "Yes. I will have to find women with powers so the children I have will protect themselves in case I cannot be there. You are right about that"

"That is a very good idea. I could definitely find places in new york that are still functional" Loki agreed about the dating situation. He then nodded in understanding as Evan explained while confessing seemed good, proposing didn't. Seeing Johnny could always do it out of pressure and most likely fall for someone else if he forced marriage too early. That it wouldn't be fair to both of them. "You are right. I am thinking too much ahead. I think confessing love is the best way to go and proving that first before anything first, then we can get to proposing. This is a nicer tactic"

Loki then listened as Evan offered to take over the remaining slaves, the ones with no master, that it would give the slaves far less abuse from the guards. That some were innocent and not all were enemies. That evan felt mercy and didn't want to have others feel the same way he felt when he was abused. Seeing no problem with allowing his prince brother to be in control, Loki pondered before nodding "Very well Evan. You have my blessing. Feel free to take custody of those who do not have masters. I see no reason not to, after all, what better ruler than a prince?"

[Rowan/Evan Thompson]

Evan nodded.

"That man isn't fit to raise a country let alone children. I never want to think about that bastard again. I'm glad he's dead." said Evan.

He nodded.

"Yeah it was. I wish she'd lived long enough for me to have any memories of her. I'd be happy to have just one. So please let me know if you find a way to see her. There has to be a way to view the past somehow. Maybe a vision quest or something." said Evan.

He smiled at Loki's words.

"Thank you. I might be a bit clingy and needy for awhile. It make take me awhile to really trust you and I feel guilty about that. Everyone I've trusted that I've loved has hurt me or left me. Or both. But you're my brother. This should be easy and it's not. I'm sorry I'm such as screw up." said Evan.

He nodded.

"I hope we can find a way to make this work. I don't want another war. I hated my father but I never hated them. They are our people. You may have grown up here but I grew up there. At least for awhile. I want to save them. Maybe we should consider helping them rebuild. The last few attacks from you and Thor wiped out much of the army and damaged the kingdom. Showing them we're sorry for what happened that we want peace it would be a start. An olive branch so to speak." said Evan.

Evan smiled at him.

"Thanks again. It was bad enough just reliving those memories today. If I had to go back there I'd see them everywhere. I don't think I could live with constant reminders of that. It's why I went to Earth. I got tired of it. I was grateful the mystic's potion that turned me into a human also blocked Laufey from tracking me. I never really had a family until now and I'm not going to let you go." said Evan.

Evan smiled sadly at Loki's words.

"I hope so. I want to one day look in the mirror and smile. To not think I'm worthless." said Evan.

Evan nodded listening to his brother.

"I will help you anyway you'll let me my brother. My brother. It feels good to say that." said Evan.

Evan paused nodding at him.

"Well short of turning Johnny into a girl I don't think he'd care kids for you. And I don't think he'd appreciate it if you did that. Although the problem of using someone else's kids is a concern. They'd be your kids. Not Johnny's. And well he might reject them. Maybe even resent them. I mean your relationship's still new. He doesn't even know you really feel. Even if he falls in love with you could he really accept children that weren't his own? Knowing you slept with someone else to get them?" said Evan.

He paused at his words.

"I'm glad you're agreeing to wait. If you propose to him too soon he may doubt your feelings and just think you want to make sure he'd never leave you. I mean he agreed to be your consort. But I assume anytime he wanted he could returned to being a slave right. Marriage might feel like a trap to him if you don't wait until you're sure he would want it." said Evan.

Evan grinned at Loki's words.

"Thank you. I want you to help me prepare a room for me and adjoining rooms for them. I will not have the guards touch them ever again. I guess it make take a few days to prepare but those old quarters are awful. I know they're slaves but now that they're my property I want them to live a bit better than that. The more food, sleep, and exercise they better they'll be at chores and things." said Evan.

(ooc: now if you want a character to end up as a slave to someone else could say loki already agreed to give someone away before this deal. xd)

[Loki]

(OCC: Sure. I'll roll with that)

"As am I. Let us not talk about our sire any longer. He is dead and that is that. As for our mother, once I find a way to reach her with a certain spell, you will certainly hear of it" Loki responded calmly. Not really caring about their father, but he did feel a concern for his birth mother, and more about other issues. Like the jotuheim-asgard alliance and of Evan's certain self-esteem issues.

"It is alright evan. It is hard for you to give trust so easily. It is perfectly understandable. It is admittedly hard for me also. But I do trust you because you are my brother. One day you will learn to trust me and other people. Just not now. You are not a screw up for having issues with trust. It has nothing to do with who you are" Loki said, the more he spoke with his younger brother the more he realized about his relationships in general. He realized his family did mean a lot to him after all. Odin was out but Thor and Frigga were still family and even though his real mother was dead, she too was important. Loki realized he had to make amends with thor since he was here and make sure that frigga was safe. He realized that even though it would take time, he would set things right.

"We will make this work evan. With your advice and my power, the people of jotuheim will realize that we, as brothers, mean no harm. We will bring peace to these two realms and set things right" Loki assured, trying to be as assuring as he could be. It wasn't hard now but he didn't know if Evan was still convinced. Evan was definitely convinced Loki was going to do something to make peace but wasn't sure of the methods and it seemed evan was stopping the conversation but loki wanted to end it on a good note.

"It is my pleasure evan. You will not have to set foot ever again to that realm. What happened to you will not happen again. I will make sure of it. Even if I have to go there and make sure of that" Loki said, still as sincere as he was through this whole discussion. He breathed softly as he listened to Evan wish to feel as confident in himself as Loki was. "Well you do not need a mirror. You have me. I will annoy you with the fact you are not worthless if needed be" He softly smiled, trying to make light of the situation

"It feels good to hear it. My brother" Loki smiled affectionately before continuing more conversations. He then listened to more of Evan's advice and nodded sadly "I know. I could never ask Johnny to force himself to become a woman. Nor would I force him to love children that is not his own. I do not know. I don't want a harem and I really do love johnny. I do not want to harm him more than I have. I do want to have children with him but if I cannot, or should I say will not, do it then maybe a spell can work this out? Not one that will force johnny to do anything he doesn't feel too comfortable with but something that will make him and I have children together. I do not know yet Evan. I am thinking all aloud. I just know that I see myself with children and Johnny. I wish I did this better" He sighed, rubbing his eyes, seemingly frustrated. He wasn't frustrated with the biological situation, he was just pissed he was so lustful and stupid previously.

"I understand. Waiting is better. I do not want to make johnny any more unhappy. I want to do this right this time. Simply confessing to him and proving it before proposing does make more sense. I want him to trust me before anything" Loki softly responded about Johnny's situation. He really did love him. It did come off suddenly but he wanted to make it right. And thanks to Evan's wonderful advice, it seemed he would be able to. He then pondered about the slaves that evan wanted to care for "Yes. You are free to do what you will with the slaves now. With your help maybe they will be better with work. Your treatment will most likely be better than the guards. I see your side to the story and now I wish to help you assist the slaves. I will prepare a room for you to be near the slaves and have adjoining rooms for them immediately"

[Rowan/Evan Thompson]

Evan nodded glad the topic of Laufey was dropped. He was no father and certainly no king of his. The only king he respected was Loki. He smiled at Loki.

"Thank you for being understanding. I want to trust you. I do. I'm just afraid. I've had that trust and my heart broken so many times. I know it'll take time but I'm sure we'll be close one day. As we should have been all along." said Evan.

Evan nodded.

"Good. I hope we fix this. We're both Frost Giants and rightful rulers of Joutenheim. So hopefully we'll get this fixed." said Evan.

Evan smiled as Loki confirmed he never had to go there.

"Thank you. I know it was Laufey who treated me badly. I think anyone else might have been afraid to speak up like my friend. Or didn't know what was going on. Sometimes I wish I could make myself forget." said Evan.

Evan smiled as Loki spoke

"Thank you. I'm lucky to have a brother like you. I don't know what I'd do without you." said Evan.

Evan grinned as the subject shifted to Johnny and having children.

"A spell could work. But men can't give birth right? I mean it would probably end up turning him into a woman at least to give birth. Unless magic can make men give birth. I don't know much about magic aside from my own powers so I could be wrong about that." said Evan.

Evan grinned.

"I think if you show him you really love him, open up to him like you're doing now he will feel the same way. I mean right now he just thinks you just in lust with him. Once he knows you really love him I think you two could be very happy together." said Evan.

Evan grinned at his words.

"Thank you. I want to keep them all safe. I know you mean well but some of the others here can be very cruel. And the slaves were taken from their lives and dropped here. Most of them aren't even superheroes." said Evan.

[Loki]

"It is no trouble evan. Take your time, and your trust will come over to me naturally. I want you to be close to be naturally" Loki responded with a assuring grin. He knew his brother has been harmed far too much in the past. Now that he and evan were bonding, loki saw to make sure he would never allow his younger brother to be harmed any longer. Anyone who harmed him would face serious penalties.

"We can. Just have faith, brother. Our work together will make a alliance soon enough" Loki promised, smiling still, seeing evan be less frightened was a huge load-off for the king. He then listened to Evan comment about jotunheim and his memories and that he wished he could forget some of his pain. Loki pondered before looking seriously at evan's face, staring into his eyes "Perhaps you can. I have magic. Perhaps I can use it to make you forget extremely painful memories. But it is your choice and magic may not work all the time, so I am only suggesting it because your memories are filled with hurt"

"You survived far before you met me. Do not doubt your strength, evan" Loki replied, his tone surprisingly humble despite his social stature. In a sense he was much more powerful than evan but his brother and close loved ones saw loki's sensitive/loving side that not a lot of people dared to see. His vulnerability came back as the conversation of johnny and the chance of children returning "Magic is indeed quite complex. It is a theory but perhaps magic can help men have children. It could be wrong but perhaps it could be right also"

He then smiled as evan kindly suggested to be as open as he was now and show his love, that maybe Johnny would fall for him in return if he did so. That once he knows that loki really loved him, the two would be incredibly happy together. Loki nodded "You are right. If I do what I am doing now perhaps I can make Johnny happy and love me in return. Thank you evan. I really do care for him and wish to prove to him that it isn't lust"

"I understand. Your concern for the slaves is in the right place. I do not know entirely which of my guards are kind or not to them and the slaves deserve at least some sort of respect. You are free to have them. I trust you far more than strangers" Loki responded calmly

[Rowan/Evan Thompson]

Evan nodded.

"It will take time but I want to trust you. To care about you. I always wanted a brother and now I have one." said Evan.

Evan nodded again.

"I hope so. I wouldn't want to start a war with the Jotuns. You have enough to deal with." said Evan.

Evan looked at him and frowned.

"But then again most of my life is painful memories. I don't know if you could wipe years of my life and not have it affect me. I wouldn't want to become a vegetable or have no memories at all. Maybe I should just stay like this. My memories may be mostly painful but they are mine." said Evan.

Evan smiled at him weakly. He didn't believe he was strong. If he was he would have fought Laufey, Jack, and others harder. And not gotten involved in so many doomed relationships. Evan nodded as the topic shifted back to Johnny.

"It's worth looking into. You could also just adopt more kids like you're doing with John." said Evan.

Evan smiled at him glad they were both in better moods.

"Yes. You may have to earn his trust before his love. Try to show him you do care. Maybe talk with him more. Get to know him." said Evan.

Evan smiled again glad Loki agreed about the slaves.

"Thank you. There was one slave I heard you gave to The Other. I'd ask for him but I know you wouldn't go back on your word like that. So could at least make sure he's safe? I wouldn't want him to end up severely hurt or killed. The Chitauri aren't known for their mercy." said Evan.

[Loki]

"I understand completely. I am patient. Take as much time as needed" Loki said assuringly. He didn't want to pressure his new-found brother so he understood what Evan needed. He would wait for him. After all he did for many years and didn't even know about it. He continued the other conversations though, specifically about the Jotuns "Neither do I. I have other responsibilities. Regardless of my power, I do not believe the people will not take kindly to a war"

"No you do not have to deal with all your memories. Magic isn't so one dimensional. I can study into this and maybe not only get rid of memories, but give you more pleasant ones" Loki suggested before sighing "I do not think it is fair for you. You suffered enough. You should not be forced to remember all of it. Something pleasant at least should happen to you" He then saw Evan's smile and he could tell the younger man didn't believe his sayings that Evan was strong. Loki couldn't help but pity his brother. He felt the need to find his now dead sire and rekill him just for these crimes.

"Yes. I am planning to do all options. Including the ones you suggested. Adoption or magic, either way it is something I myself must look into. I appreciate your help" Loki said sincerely. He then nodded at Evan's advice on how to make johnny love him, by being more open and trusting johnny and allowing johnny to try and trust him. Trust, apparently, was the first step to a relationship. "You are right Evan. I will take your advice. Thank you. I do want to try and allow johnny to decide also"

"Ah yes. His name is apparently Flash. He had spats with me and I acted out of anger" Loki said, somewhat less regretful but hearing Evan's plea caused him to cave and nod "Yes. I will make the other go easier on the boy. I can't bring him to you because if I go back on my word, some of the people here will think I am vunerable by kindness and attack me on that theory alone. But I will try to make sure Flash lives"

[Rowan/Evan Thompson]

Evan smiled.

"Good. I've wanted a family more than anything. But my mother died and Laufey was so cruel to me. I guess I never really had a family until now." said Evan.

He nodded.

"We are both technically Frost Giants. No matter how much we tried to change. So I hope that will be enough to make peace." said Evan.

He shrugged at that.

"I don't want to forget everything either. It's a part of me. I only had very few good memories. I wouldn't want to be a blank slate. Because then I'd flinch every time someone hugged me or touched me and I wouldn't know why. Knowing sometimes is painful. But not knowing could be worse." said Evan.

He smiled as Loki suggested pleasant ones.

"This is already one of my pleasant memories. A brother. I have a brother." said Evan.

He then hugged Loki very tightly.

"Thank you for pushing me to learn the truth. I lived without you for years. I wouldn't want to live another day without knowing you were my brother." said Evan.

He smiled at him fresh happy tears streaking down his face.

"Even if you turn on me one day." whispered Evan not realizing he said that out loud.

He smiled.

"Good. I think you'd be a great father Loki. We both didn't have good role models for fathers but that will only make you a better father. Because you know not what to do. Don't play favorites, ignore them, or hurt them. Odin and Laufey weren't fit to raise a goldfish let alone children." said Evan.

Evan's grin grew as Loki was actually taking his advice.

"No one's actually listened to me like this before. Taken my advice to heart. Your children. Johnny. I hope you follow through with this. If you want him to love you then you need to treat him with respect and with love. It doesn't have to be lavished with gifts or treated like royalty. He just needs to know how much you care." said Evan.

Evan sighed hearing Flash was the Other's slave now.

"Please try. No matter what he said to you he's no real threat to you. He's not even a superhero. Just a normal human." said Evan.

He nodded sadly.

"I understand. I wish you'd thought things through. In the future I request you not to punish anyone in anger. Not everyone deserves your full wrath. Take some time to think. If Flash had just had time in the dungeon he'd have learned his lesson. But now I just pity that boy. No one should have to suffer the full wrath of any of the Chitauri. Especially a powerless Midgardian like him."

[Loki]

"Well that's about to change" Loki assured as Evan told him he didn't really have a family. The brothers were together now. Loki then listened as Evan said hopefully the fact both of them were frost giants would give peace "I honestly hope so too. Peace is what we acquire now in order to have a good kingdom here"

"Very well, brother. The decision is yours. My offer is always open should you change your mind. I only wish to bring you comfort now" Loki responded, his tone soft and kind. He felt bad for his brother. Loki, compared to Evan, was must more fortunate in terms of affection and childhood memories. He then smiled as Evan hugged him and Loki hugged in return, glad that the two were happy with one another. "It is one of my most pleasant also. I am much happier with you in my life, Evan. Brother. I will enjoy spending more time with you" He meant that too. Having his biological younger brother with him gave him a sense of belonging. Then he heard Even murmur something and although he said it out loud, Loki didn't really quite get it. So he didn't really make too much of it.

"Yes. My parenting will be the exact opposite of Laufey and Odin. I will not favor my children and certainly not expect too much from them. I intend to be the most loving I possibly can" Loki replied with a grin. He then nodded as Evan gave him more advice, Evan was wise despite the other claiming he wasn't "I will most certainly listen to your advice for it is most helpful. I will take all of what you said and take it to action. I will make sure Johnny trusts me and loves me by his own choice"

"You are right. He is not a threat and I will try to find a way to help him. But I still, unfortunately, cannot go back on my word" Loki said, regret evident in his tone. He then nodded as Evan gently pointed out that maybe he should watch his temper "You're right. I was not thinking. I was being angry. I must learn to control myself when it comes to my wrath"

[Rowan/Evan Thompson]

Evan smiled at his brother.

"I hope so." said Evan.

Evan nodded.

"You know maybe we could offer a compromise. I doubt there are many Jotuns left after the assaults you, Thor and others placed on their kingdom. Why don't we offer to turn them all human? Tell them they'll be my personal guard or something. If there's anything left of Joutenheim I doubt they could live there for long. And then we build a new city outside of this one. It'd take some time but the Jotuns could have a new city we could be proud of. And the Asgardians would be less likely to riot knowing the Joutns were at peace but close enough so they could keep an eye on them. And hopefully in time the two races can coexist peacefully." sid Evan.

He paused looking at Loki curiously.

"I suppose using magic to create the city would take too much out of us. Unless there's other sorcerers here we could use to pool magic. Or objects that could help."said Evan.

Evan nodded.

"Thank you for the offer but what little good memories I have might end up erased with my bad ones. I wouldn't want to lose a single good memory I have including meeting you. That's my favorite memory so far." said Evan.

Evan smiled as Loki returned his hug as they talked.

"I dont know if there are lessons or something like that. It's been awhile since I received lessons so I might need a refresher course. But I want to help you out as a prince here as soon as I can."said Evan.

Evan nodded.

"Well you couldn't do any worse than those two. They didn't deserve any children. It's a shame Frigga and Thor still love that fool Odin. There's an idea. Turn Frigga and Thor against Odin. It might take some work but it could bring you close with your other family and punish Odin even further. Which is a bonus."said Evan.

Evan grinned as Loki complimented his advice.

"Good I hope it works out for you both." said Evan.

"Perhaps issue some kind of challenge. Like some or even all slaves could earn their freedom and become members of the court if they complete tasks. Nothing fatal as if they lose they'd still remain slaves. This way you give Thor a chance without appearing soft. And this also helps out other slaves you might consider worthy of your court one day." said Evan.

Evan nodded.

"Good. Perhaps next time don't issue punishments right away. Give time to think. Say you want to be sure you give the best punishment. Then talk to me or Johnny about it and we could help you. That way you don't act too rashly on something you can't take back later." said Evan.
