Make Yourself At Home (Trigger)

[Hogun]

(ooc: January 4th. Afternoon.)

Hogun sighed as he left the slave quarters. He'd said goodbye to Donald, Jane, and the others. Someone had claimed him as his solo master which meant he could no longer sleep with the others. He would move in with his master and be given a separate bed if he was lucky or the floor if he wasn't. His soldier attire had been taken from him and he was now just wearing a black tanktop and jeans as he could hear the guards chuckle and make comments. He heard one say maybe he'd become a consort like Johnny did and that he certainly was attractive enough to be one. At this Hogun blushed not have gotten this kind of attention before. Soon they were at his new quarters as the door opened as the guards escorted him in.

"Your new master will be along shortly. You are not to leave this room without his permission. Is that clear?" said the first guard.

Hogun meekly nodded.

"You see he's already the obedient type. He'd be a great consort to this guy." said the second guard.

The two walked away laughing and cracking jokes closing the door behind them. Hogun shuddered. He wasn't sure if what they were saying was true or not. He just had to be ready. He paused deciding to take a seat on the floor afraid of going near the bed. He already missed Donald, Jane, and the others and hoped they were ok. He wasn't sure how long he was sitting there alone in his thoughts when the door opened again as he stood up ready to greet his new master.

[Trigger]

Trigger was very unhappy with the way the deal played out for him. He tried reasoning that all the slaves would be more agreeable without being forced or wearing collars or anything of that kind, but the king would have none of that. Trigger wasn't stupid to forget his place so he begged for at least one of them which was Hogun. Trigger cared about a lot of them but out of all of them, Hogun was the one the mute telepath was especially concerned about. Loki respected his wishes, due to his power and respectful convincing, and allowed Hogun to be given to him as his personal slave. As he left to return to his own personal chambers, he sensed a man was already in there and could tell that it was hogun. Trigger didn't want to be assumed as a cruel master, he would never be so hypocritical as to be cruel. He suffered cruelty before, the last thing he wanted was to do that to another. Especially one so quiet as Hogun.

When he opened the door he saw Hogun immediately stand up. Trigger gave a very kind smile, to give Hogun a sense of safety and security. Trigger came closer to him he saw that he didn't even touch the bed. That made Trigger frown, hurt that hogun was nervous of him. Trigger touched his shoulder kindly and responded with a grin and said telepathetically You need not be fearful of me. I am sorry I forced you away from your friends. I could not bear to see you the way you were down there. If you wish you will be entirely free to visit your friends. I can allow this because of the king allowing me to do what I wish with you He then realized how he said that and frowned shocked before responding quickly in sign language and in telepathy Oh do forgive me! I did not mean it that way! I mean you may be personal to me but you are no need to be doing chores or anything! I wish not to be cruel to you! God this would be easier to explain if I knew what to say He facepalmed, rubbing his face in shame.

He looked over to Hogun to hear what he wanted to say. His facial features showed guilt, concern, shame and more importantly kindness. He wanted to let hogun trust him. If not be friends, then at least they would be allies. Trigger had no ill intentions with hogun at all. In fact he wasn't really aware of what the guards joked about or told deliberately to hogun.

[Hogun]

Hogun paused as Hogun walked in speaking to him telepathically. Hogun was a bit startled at that.

"Sorry. I forgot you were a telepath." whispered Hogun.

He listened in amazement and shock as Trigger said he tried to free the remainder of the slaves but Loki had only give him Hogun as a slave. And he was still free to visit his friends.

"Thank you sir." said Hogun.

He looked in astonishment as Trigger asked for forgiveness that he didn't need chores or anything. He looked in confusion.

"But I'm a slave. The guards who brought me here said you were going to make me a consort like Loki did to Johnny." said Hogun.

He blushed at the implication. Loki was a good friend once and while a part of him didn't approve of this he couldn't help but feel grateful Loki had kept him alive. Maybe there was still a good part of Loki after all. Maybe Thor, Frigga, and Odin weren't wrong to still care about Loki. He paused glancing at Trigger before speaking again.

"Won't Loki take me away if he sees me not working? I don't want to get you in trouble. I don't mind helping. You're probably the nicest master I'd have gotten here." said Hogun.

He paused as he walked over and hugged Trigger.

"Thank you. I would like us to be friends. But you're my master. I can't just say we're roommates. Everyone knows what we are. I have to help clean and do whatever you want me to. Or they'd probably take me away from you." said Hogun.

He didn't mind doing chores, or cleaning up the room and other things. Trigger had probably gone through a lot to get him as his personal slave. The least he could do was go along with it so Trigger wouldn't get in trouble.

[Trigger]

Many people tend to due to me not even thinking so much. They always assume me as mute and simple Trigger said, a cheerful grin once more on his face. He chuckled, which sounded like a light raspy huff, but he shook his head as if amused with this situation. Here he was, acting nervous, for someone he just met. He only gave a kind nod when Hogun thanked him for allowing him to be free to see his friends and whatnot. Trigger had no intentions other than pleasing his new friend.

Suddenly Trigger's eyes widened with shock. The guards told Hogun that he was going to be a consort for Trigger? He blushed much more than Hogun did. Trigger had no intentions of that kind but now that it was brought up, it made Trigger's feelings to twist. He liked hogun but he didn't want to do anything as quick and personal as that. He was a bit annoyed that the guards would make jokes as perverted as that. Not to mention put Hogun in a weird/awkward situation with him. Trigger wanted things to happen naturally. If a relationship happened then it happened but Trigger knew that was too much to think about now. The guards were incorrect. I had no intentions to make anyone a consort! I wanted to set you free to because I was concerned. I refuse to see anyone like you be brought up so cruelly. It makes me sick to see you act like a slave. I cannot change Loki or the fact he has them but if I can save one person, one that I want to be friends with, then so be it. Those guards are perverted. I had no ill will towards you. I apoligize for their actions, I do not want you to mistrust me or my intentions

With me, you are no slave. You are my ally and friend, if you wish it. I may be a master but you will do what you can as a colleague, not a slave. If I require you to assist me with anything, yes including chores, you will be asked instead of forced. With respect to the king himself, I have been told that what I wish for you to do is my business. Yes you are mine but I want you to be of your free will. This may be the best way to do so. If you wish to help though and prevent trouble, so be it. I only ask that you tell me how you feel and trust me Trigger responded patiently, a calm look across his features. Yes he feared Loki but he cared about Hogun more. He felt protective of the man. He was rather over-protective one could argue, due to the fact he and hogun were strangers, but Trigger could care less what others thought.

He then was shocked to see Hogun come forward and hug him, feeling hogun wouldn't want him to do that but Trigger grinned happily and hugged the man right back. He then sighed realizing that Hogun had a point. Trigger was still his master and that hogun was still, in a way, under slavery. He didn't like it and he said so but Hogun had to keep cover or maybe loki would take him away from trigger. Like I said, you will be asked to do things instead of forced. Yes we are master and slave but I hate that. I prefer us being called allies and friends. If we need to clean or do anything I need to do, then I will treat you respectfully and then you shall do it. You do have a point though. Now that I have you, I do not want to lose you

[Hogun]

Hogun paused shaking his head.

"Well I suppose that makes us simpler. Before Loki's take over I rarely talked. I just found no reason to. When I did it was to tell warn people or just say something bad was going to happen to us. But I do like talking to you." said Hogun.

He paused blushing again when Trigger said it was incorrect and Hogun was surprised he found himself a bit disappointed at the news. Did he want to be with Trigger? He smiled at him glad he had such a concerned friend.

"Well thank you. I wish you could have saved more of the others. But at least you tried to help and I appreciate that. I know the others do too." said Hogun.

He paused as he said they could be friends and Hogun nodded pleased at the idea.

"I would like us to be friends. You're my master only and in public. But when we're alone we're just friends. I really would prefer to do something here like clean perhaps. I used to be a soldier here in Asgard. I was always doing something so I probably would go crazy if I just sat here and did nothing." said Hogun.

He paused as Hogun hugged him back and he grinned.

"Sounds like a plan to me. Would you prefer if I just call you Master Trigger? I sound more like a butler and less of a slave that way. And if anyone asks you could just say you prefer I say your name after Master." said Hogun.

He looked at him in surprise at his last words and blushed.

"Well thank you again. You've been so kind. I think I'll start by sweeping the floor." said Hogun.

He paused as he went to look for a broom.

[Trigger]

Trigger gave a mild-mannered shrug in response to Hogun's comment that he too was not a man who normally liked to chatter. That he normally spoke for important reasons, yet the man liked speaking with Trigger. Well I thank you for liking to speak to me. I quite like speaking to you myself Trigger smiled fondly at his new friend, very pleased that this arrangement was working out for them both. He wanted nothing more than to be friendly to Loki's people, especially ones forced to servitude. He knew, deep in his heart, that loki was not giving a majority of them any choice. He fortunately was blessed to be opinionated but then again Trigger was not around loki during his rebellion, so the physic was more interested in surviving with the law and making things happen the right way for people closest to him such as Hogun.

He stopped blushing after hogun thanked him for assisting him out of his imprisonment into something easier, and that Trigger's actions were sure to be appreciated by the others. Yet Trigger felt out of all the people he could've chosen he chose hogun best and the more interesting part was trigger knew why he did. He liked hogun better than the rest, the quiet, reserved, calm, mild-mannered and good-looking hogun caught his interest since day one. He obviously wasn't planning anything yet but Trigger would definitely not object to the idea, in fact he found that a possibility. He snapped out of his thoughts though as his new friend talked that they would indeed be friends. That he would only be master in public only which was something Trigger had absolutely no problem with. He also had no problem with Hogun truly wanting to do more than just lay about, that because he was a warrior he did plenty of work. He even grinned widely at that Sounds perfectly reasonable. If you wish to truly clean and do work of any kind that plenty of workers do I do not see why there is a issue. In public we can claim you are slave and I master but I will consistently call you friend otherwise. It sounds fine to me, hogun He then hugged hogun for a little while longer before pulling back and looking at the other man kindly. He was truly glad to actually have a true friend here.

Master Trigger actually has a nice ring to it Trigger thought before giggling, which sounded higher than his chuckle but was still raspy and rough. Yes. That sounds fine. If the king or anyone else asks you this, send them to me. I will tell them it is because I, well, wanted it to be as such He didn't want to say the words "demand" or "command" because those set wrong to the new master of hogun. Trigger did not like it at all. Any cruelty or force of labor sounded disgusting to him. For anyone. Including Hogun, maybe even especially hogun.

As Trigger saw Hogun get ready to get a broom. There was something in trigger that didn't want him to work quite yet. He wanted to continue talking to hogun first. Trigger went over and held hogun's arm gently Wait. Before you work I suggest we start our friendship by getting to know each other! Perfect idea to get his new friend talking. It seemed like a good idea now anyway. You said you were a soldier before your current state. Tell me more of that, yes?

[Hogun]

Hogun smiled at him.

"Your welcome. You're just different than the others. Like I think we could have been friends even if Loki hadn't taken over." said Hogun.

He smiled glad things were ok. He was still confused. He was relieved the guards were wrong and sad at the same time. Perhaps he had feelings for Trigger after all. Sure he'd seen him around before but not very often. Well if something happened he definitely wouldn't say no to it.

"Thank you. I don't want to cause you any problems or worse end up with a worse master than you. Like that Doom fellow. How he talked about Johnny like he was Loki's pet instead of Loki's consort was insulting to Loki and Johnny. I'm surprised Loki didn't punish him right there for it." said Hogun.

He smiled as they hugged a bit longer before they both pulled back. He nods as Trigger agreed with him about calling him Master Trigger and anyone else would have to keep it up with Hogun.

"Alright. I will." said Hogun.

He picked up the broom but stopped as Trigger said he didn't want him to work yet. Hogun set the broom down and walked back to him.

"Alright. Sharing stories sounds like fun." said Hogun.

When Trigger asked about his life as a soldier Hogun nodded.

"Well unlike the others I'm not originally from Asgard. I'm from Vanaheim. Another realm. Just like you're from Earth. I was sent here to serve the Asgardian court. Which at the moment is Loki." said Hogun.

He paused in realization. He'd been feeling guilty about this but he was following his orders. Frigga and Odin were no longer ruling Asgard. Loki was. He had to serve Loki as the treaty between their two realms stated. Loki had agreed to spare his realm his wrath as Loki's attack had only been on Earth at the moment. Loki hadn't attacked any of the other realms yet but Hogun would have to appeal to him to spare Vanaheim.

"I met Fandral and Volstagg and we formed the Warriors Three. I became good friends with them as well as Sif, Thor, and Loki. Together the six of us were unstoppable. Even with just Fandral and Volstagg we were a great team. And now the team is broken up. Fandral and Volstagg are with the rebellion. Sif is missing and Thor and I are slaves. And Loki is our new king. I do miss the old Loki. We were good friends. Perhaps it's naive of me to think this. But I hope one day we could be friends again." said Hogun.

[Trigger]

Quite. Perhaps. I certainly wish I met you previously. I could've used a friend like you Trigger responded, his thoughts sounding quite kind and sincere. He smiled, glad that he and hogun were now pretty much friends. He felt a bit conflicted in denying Hogun to be his consort but felt that as some sort of embarrassment given to him by the question. Yet he felt connection to the oppotunity because Trigger hadn't had a relationship in a while and Trigger felt he should try the idea. For now though Trigger was going to keep this simple and not complicated, because his attractions to Hogun were not the main reason for trigger's want to release him, though it just motivated him a bit more than normal.

As am I. I recall Loki speaking very highly of Johnny storm to me previously. That said I will make sure that never happens to you. You are safe here Hogun. I will do everything in my power to keep you here Trigger persisted gently as Hogun expressed that he didn't want to leave trigger nor get Trigger in trouble with the king. Honestly neither did Trigger but if hogun's happiness meant doing persistant things to keep it from happening, Trigger was more than happy to do so. He sighed slightly, feeling bad that hogun was afraid for him as well as afraid for himself. It must've been pretty bad here before Trigger was resorted to such demands. He didn't completely hate the king but some of loki's acts were ones he strongly disagreed with.

Splendid! Trigger said, a smile of cheer once more on his face. He listened to Hogun's story of his time as a warrior and learned that Hogun was a man who grew up on Vanaheim but was sent to Asgard to serve for the court of Asgard, meaning he was a servant to anyone who was king which of course meant loki too. He then met Fandral and Volstagg forming the warriors three before meeting a woman named Sif, and of course the two brothers known as Thor and Loki. The six were unbeatable and even then he with fandral and volstagg were great as a team. Unfortunately due to recent events, he and the other two men were seperated since fandral and volstagg were in the rebellion, Sif was missing and thor was enslaved alongside Hogun. He nodded sympathetically and responded I pray for your two friends, I pray they still are alright back at the rebellion. Also for Sif, I wish she still lives away from here He couldn't help but shrug at that. As loyal as he was to the cause, he prefered to wish his friend's allies safety. He nodded again in understanding, seeing hogun felt regretful his friend Loki was once his friend now enemy. It was rather sad for Hogun to be forced to slavery by his old friend yet hogun wishing to be friends with him once more. It is not naive. It is hopeful. I fear the king may be less hopeful but you never know. I feel maybe he will be yet his cravings for control are at a all high sort of desire

He walked over to his bed and sat on it, patting the other side as if to imply Hogun was permitted/invited to sit with him. Your life was quite an adventure. Is quite a adventure still. I suppose you wouldn't mind if you wished me to tell you about myself He then got serious and pointed a finger to Hogun in some sort of anxiousness and defensive technque If you do wish to know, I need you to promise me this one thing. To never tell anyone these things. They are important to me and if anyone dares to know, I fear that people will take advantage of me. I trust you. I do not trust the king or even some of my other allies

[Hogun]

Hogun smiled at him.

"Well we know each other now so there's no point in playing the what if game. I look forward to getting to know you. I know Johnny and John are sticking close to Loki's room. Do you think I'd be allowed to see them? And the other slaves? I mean am I supposed to stick with you or in this room? Do I need an escort now to go anywhere? I just don't want to get you in trouble." said Hogun.

He paused as Loki spoke aout Johnny and that he was safe here.

"Thank you. I feel like I don't deserve this. That you should have taken Renee or Jane. I just don't want anyone taking them away without a choice like you did with me." said Hogun.

He paused realizing that sounded insulting.

"Sorry. I don't mean to sound ungrateful. I'm just not used to not having a choice. First Loki made me a slave then you took me away from my friends to here. I'm just going to miss them. And I'm not phrasing this right. Sorry." said Hogun.

He blushed a little flustered and embarrassed. He was more of a thinker than a talker so he was screwing up already here. He smiled glad when the topic shifted to his story as Trigger listened to Hogun speak. He smiled at Trigger's words.

"I hope so. Fandral and Volstagg aren't just friends. I was closer with the two of them and Loki more than the others. The two of them were like my brothers and Loki. Loki was my best friend. No one knew how close Loki and I were. And no one knew about my life in Vanaheim." said Hogun.

Hogun smiled hoping Sif was with them in the rebellion or at least safe. He heard Trigger's words and smiled.

"Thanks. I miss him. I knew Loki was upset feeling Odin favored Thor more than him. I just didn't realize how upset he was. I should have been there for him. Talked more. I guess I was a terrible friend." said Hogun.

Hogun smiled as he sat on the bed next to him.

"I would like to hear some about your life. But that is up to you. I know not everyone's had a good life. I wouldn't want to you to relive memories you want to forget. Especially painful or sad ones." said Hogun.

Hogun paused.

"I don't know why you trust me this much. We barely know each other. I would never tell anyone what you tell me. At least not willingly. With powerful sorcerers like Loki if he wanted to I'm sure he can make either of us tell him whatever he wanted." said Hogun.

[Trigger]

As do I. I think you and I will be good friends now Trigger replied with a smile gracing on his features. He pondered about Hogun's questions of how exactly was he going to meet his friends. He then gave a patient, calm and pleasant look as he replied once more. How you will be able to meet Johnny and John I do not know. But rest assured I will personally find a way to allow you passage to meet your friends alone. You need no consort but if it is possible, perhaps I can join you and meet your friends. Whenever you want me too that is. The point of the matter is I am sure that I will not get in trouble or you will, especially since I'm pretty much in control of this now. I have a good feeling the king will allow you to visit john and johnny without a consort. You obviously do need to stay with me and whatnot but there's no harshness in wanting to be with friends too. I think you don't need to follow my every whim

Trigger then paused to listen to Hogun say that he was grateful and that he didn't deserve this. That rene and jane should've been free with him instead but that hogun didn't want them to be forced like he was. Hogun was obviously hinting that being not able to control his own life was something he didn't like and the fact trigger forced him here was just not really something he was used to. Trigger's face showed complete hurt. That was the last thing trigger wanted to do. He never wanted hogun to not be happy, he was simply trying to help. Forgive me Hogun. If it were up to me I would've released your friends also but the king told me no. He only allowed me one person to have as a personal friend or someone of free will to me. I picked you because I.... He sighed, rubbing his face, as if trying to put words together Because I feel that no-one should deserve treatment that makes them feel they have to have force be upon them. If I can save one person than I have done a good deed. But you are more than someone who deserves to be given the right treatment, I wish to make a friend. I am a lonely man His face was showing signs of hurt, with a bitten lower lip and eyes slightly glassy. Then he saw Hogun express that he didn't mean to be ungrateful but being forced things was not his best forte No. Do not apoligize. You are right. I forced you to come here without consulting you. But I was fearful if I didn't act quickly the king might reconsider my offer and not let me help you. I'll do anything in my power to make you happy. If you wish to go see them tomorrow or something feel free to do so He tried his best to smile but despite hogun's nervous efforts in trying to be respectful and not insulting, Trigger felt a tiny bit hurt. He didn't want to be hurt over such understandable feelings but he was. He shook his head, deliberately trying not to act this way. He knew this was so selfish to be hurt by honest words but he was hurt and he knew he needed to stop that.

So naturally he did his best to smile as he and hogun tried to change the subject. Ah. I see. Well I wish them nothing more than the best anyway. I sorry your friendship with loki was so close to end this way. The king, I feel, is a good man deep down and that he cares about you and others but it's hard to feel that way because of his own self-pity and bitterness. I know how he is, he'll come around. Trust me. I too have been in his way of thinking at a young age. That is a story that I am willing to tell you, and you alone. As for your life in vanahiem, maybe one day you can see it again, which I wish for also. Noone should leave their homeland unattended He patted hogun's shoulder kindly as Hogun willingly took a seat next to him on the bed. Trigger knew this was a sign of trust, immediate trust, which was good.

No. Terrible friends do not act the way you are acting. You feel remorse, regret and hope for the king. That is a wonderful friend in my eyes. A friend is someone, regardless of the relationship, still cares for the other friend. At least that's what I think. Do not push yourself when the king cannot see how kind you are. As for his issues with Odin, I cannot relate to the king but I can understand the feeling of envy and bitterness Trigger narrowed his gaze as he said this before closing his eyes, taking a deep breath, and looking back at Hogun with a fond look/expression.

I... I believe the best way to make our friendship well is to give trust to one another. Yes the king has great powers that not even I can combat but I still wish to only let you know my past. Unless the king does indeed force me to tell him, which I doubt honestly, I only will tell you Trigger responded and his thoughts sounded a bit determined but his gaze was wise and simple. He listened as Hogun told him he was more than happy to hear Trigger's story but did not want to have trigger relive memories that he himself couldn't bear to hear. Trigger hummed in a raspy tone, as if thinking about it before turning to Hogun Yes. I will tell you a majority of my life. I will leave little details out. That said, one of the many reasons of why I brought you here must come to light. It IS hard but I will tell you anyway Of course it wouldn't be all of it but it would definitely be a big chunk of it. Not the really bad things but some of the bad stuff trigger endured would indeed come to pass

Trigger patted Hogun's hand before thinking out loud Years ago, I was raised in the country of england. A orphan to be precise. My parents were of little money, I do not know where they are or how they live their lives, but I was raised by the orphanage. They were very good to me and taught me right from wrong at a young age, however I grew very sick and it nearly cost me my life if not for the miraculous surgery near the nearest hospital in the village. Unfortunately it cost me my voice He tapped his throat to empathize his point before continuing However that did not ruin my education and life. In fact the leaders of my group taught me sign language to help myself and even though I was mute, I gained many possibilities thanks to it and I still had the ability to see and hear but I was so quiet it must of enhanced those abilities naturally. Many years passed and I grew a bit arrogant, wanting to have my voice and a life of my own, so I left to find better opportunities. I travelled before I met... Her

His gaze grew extremely angry after that, his teeth started to come out and his hands turned into fists. He quickly calmed down to continue regardless She was at first glance a old woman gyspy who was down on her luck. She and I hit off well at first, and we chatted about my life and hers. She proved herself to be a telepath with the power of illusions and shapeshifting. I agreed to be a servant to her, due to pity of her old age and waning abilities, in exchange for her teachings of these abilities and a voice. She gave me both of those things.... However as time quickly went on, I realized she was far more harsh and cruel than I assumed. She was not dainty in the slightest, eventually I learned she tricked me to being her servant due to the previous one according to her "ran out on her". She was very nasty to people who came to her for guidence and refused to pay and only spoke kindly to those who gave her money. She especially treated me terribly His gaze started to go wide as he started to remember those horrible times, accidently he opened the wound he thought was long healed. She spoke no good will toward me. If I behaved she would beat me regardless and swear at me, if I misbehaved the punishments were far, far worse. Again I won't tell you what she did but it is best you know that there is such a thing as wishing for death He rubbed his arms and shuddered Fortunately, after some years, I finally planned a escape. I tricked her into making a smoke spell, used that to escape the house where she could close me in, I ran outside and used all my powers on her, especially the ones she taught me so she knew who I was. She aimed to kill me but the only major injury was my voice. She took that from me and I escaped uninjured with my new powers, the woman DID threaten to find me but she never did. I didn't believe her, I knew that her age would eventually run on her. Last time I checked, she was indeed dead by people I met during my travels telling me this due to them also meeting her He smiled softly I never wish people death but I am content that she is no longer alive to haunt me He rubbed his arms again in nervousness

Well. I have learned and realized that I needed to be more aware for myself and aware of others. I needed to be less arrogant and more generous. So after my escape I just simply travelled to find a specific purpose for the greater good. I punished the evil and rewarded the good, I helped the needy and did my good samaritan work and yes my powers also helped me out. Well anyway, my country was one of the only things loki was generous enough to spare. The rest you know, I am now here with you, chatting about myself. The king himself, loki, is honestly the first person I ever met who was both good and evil. I serve him but don't always agree with him. Yet you, Hogun, are the very first friend I have had in years Trigger said with a calm, simple, mild-mannered smile, crossing his arms in a proud manner.

[Hogun]

Hogun smiled glad they were getting along so well.

"Thanks. You're a good friend." said Hogun.

He smiled.

"Perhaps you could ask Loki for me. He's more likely to talk to you than me." said Hougn.

He smiled at him.

"Well at least I can still see Thor, Jane, and the others. Perhaps you could leave me there for a bit in the evening. Say you don't need me for awhile and wanted to be alone or something like that. Then I could still visit my friends for awhile. It probably wouldn't be as long as I'd like but at least I'd still be able to see them." said Hogun.

Hogun paused seeing Trigger's face and he immediately felt bad.

"I am sorry. I did not mean to hurt you. You were just trying to be kind. I don't like not being asked before but you had no choice. Please forgive my outburst. I'm grateful you brought me here. I'm glad it was you and not of the others. Some of them give me the creeps. I wouldn't want to be working for any of them."said Hogun.

Hogun paused hugging Trigger.

"I understand. I overreacted. I've just been used to making my own choices aside from following my king and queen's laws. But now all my choices are taken away. I was made a slave then practically given to you without even a warning. I don't blame you for any of this. I blame Loki." said Hogun.

Hogun paused as Trigger said he only wanted to make him happy.

"And you have. Out of everyone here I would prefer you to be my master. So it worked out in the end. Thank you for caring about us. I wish more of the others could be here but there's nothing we can do about that." said Hogun.

Hogun nodded as they talked about his friendship with Loki.

"Yes. I was always close with the others but Loki's my best friend. Or he was my best friend. Our time as friends may not have been as long as I wished but I'll always treasure those memories. I blame myself for what happened. I should have seen the signs, noticed something. But I didn't. He was in pain and angry and he lashed out and everyone. He's taken over the universe now. I should have been the friend he deserved. He helped me more than I helped him." said Hogun.

He stood up angrily and slammed a fist into the wall annoyed. Tears were streaking down his face. Not from his wound but from Loki.

"I failed him as a friend. Thor and I are slaves. Volstagg, Fandral, and Sif are out there somewhere and I don't even know if they're alive. The king and queen are missing too. I failed as a friend, and as a soldier of Asgard. I'm no good to anyone." said Hogun.

He dropped onto the bed again and sighed. He wiped the tears from his face as he listened to Trigger speak.

"You're right. So far you've proven trustworthy. I mean you could have made me a consort. You could have put me in chains or done whatever you wanted. But you've treated me with kindness and respect. So I trust you completely." said Hogun.

Hogun paused listening to Trigger's story. He was shocked to hear the story. He grew up in an orphanage. And a surgery cost him his voice.

"Perhaps Loki could help with that. He has magic. He could restore your voice with his magic. I'm sure of it." said Hogun.

He paused listening to him as he said he learned sign language but his other senses were enhanced some cause of the lost of his voice. Hearing the story of meeting the gypsy. How the gypsy taught him telepathy and other abilities. He even got his voice back. But she was a wicked gypsy and tried to enslave him. He eventually escaped but she removed his voice again.

"If she wasn't dead I'd run her through myself. You've been through so much. I admire how strong, confidant and handsome you are." said Hogun.

He paused blushing realizing he'd let that slip.

"I mean generous." said Hogun.

He paused as Trigger finished the story.

"I'm grateful he spared your home. Or we might not be talking together. I'm glad to be your friend." said Hogun.

[Trigger]

Trigger was beaming when Hogun called him a good friend. He was glad with that and humbly nodded his thanks in return to Hogun's response to him. He then pondered about Hogun asking him to possibly talk it out with Loki as well as mention Thor, Jane and the chance to just visit them He does seem to enjoy my company, mostly because that I do not talk as much as the rest. I suppose I can try to do that. As for you to go by yourself by me saying I prefer to be alone sounds perfectly reasonable. Whenever you wish to see them alone, I can find a way as you said, to prefer to be alone and let you spend time with the others. If it is possible, eventually, could I possibly meet your friends too every once and a while? I wish to know them myself He didn't want to push but if he wanted to be good friends with hogun, he at least had to know the others too. He then gave a soft look As I said though, the previous request of meeting your friends is your choice to say yes or no too. I want you to make decisions also as much as me

He then felt less guilty as Hogun apoligized for unintentionally hurting his feelings, that he was extremely grateful for Trigger being his master, that he prefered him over others because of their tendency to be frightening and that Trigger was kind where the others weren't. He was about to say there was no need for apoligy but Hogun's hug caused him to forget what he was saying and he just accepted the hug with a soft smile. I hold no anger towards you. You need not apoligize. Your feelings are understandable just as much as mine are. The king's forcing of you to be a slave is not fair to you at all. The fact you are forced to do things against your will is something I will do everything in my power to prevent. I know what it is like to be in this position He nodded in relief that hogun didn't blame him and only blamed loki, because trigger as much as he did want hogun to feel true to himself, would've felt terrible if he was a cause for Hogun's unhappiness.

He grinned widely as Hogun replied that he was indeed making him happy and that he prefered Trigger above all masters. He nodded though as Hogun wished that the others were freed too but that couldn't be done and there was nothing they could do. I'm afraid there isn't. We can only hope for their safety and I only arrange for you to see them. I am glad I am making you happy. That's all I want

Trigger then saw Hogun respond that Loki was his best friend or one of them and that he treasured the memories they shared. The other man saw Hogun get angrier and angrier at himself, ranting about he could never forgive himself for the king's pain and sufferings, that he should've noticed something but didn't, that loki helped him out more, resulting in the man punching the wall and tears streaming down his face. Trigger frowned immensely, as if extremely sad that Hogun was pushing himself like this. Trigger knew that in the end, what happened to loki happened and it wasn't hogun who was completely to blame. Maybe it was loki's own fault? Maybe it was someone else's like thor's? Someone was to blame but Trigger didn't want it to be hogun. He then felt even worse for hogun when the man said he failed as a friend, not just to loki but to all his friends and was a terrible soilder because he allowed loki to take down the king and queen of asgard. The man went up and gently hugged and tried his best to sooth the other. Please do not blame yourself. You cannot change what has now happened, I do not blame you and even though Loki seems to I feel it is someone else he is angry with. Maybe he is just hateful of himself and just wants to lash out on others. As for your time as a soilder, I doubt that it was your fault in that also, protecting the king and queen is a group effort, many soilders have to risk it all to save them, many have died from what I heard so many failed, if you are to blame so are they. But you're not, it was Loki's effort and he was possibly too strong for anyone to defeat. You are good. You are very good. If you weren't, the king would've rejected you from the start

He eventually let go of the hug and heard that Hogun trusted him completely thanks to Trigger's kindness and actions toward him thus far. That he could've done anything other than what he was doing now but instead was simply treating hogun as a person and not like a slave. That Hogun was feeling trigger was trustworthy so far. Trigger grinned with some sort of emotional pride and replied with a giddiness clear in his thoughts Well thank you! I am so pleased you trust me! I only wish that and your happiness. As friends

Trigger then grew pale at Hogun's suggestions of possibly asking loki to use magic to get his voice back. Trigger never wanted his voice back after all the suffering he had been through. It was like asking to sign a contract to the devil, filled with lies and false promises. Trigger at a earlier time wanted his voice but after suffering so much and nobody coming to rescue him thanks to the lack of hearing his pained screams, he changed his mind quite quickly. I... I don't think that's a good idea. It's not that loki isn't able to do it, I would prefer to use my sign language and magic. Fate often showed me I am not worthy of a voice through the sufferings I endured and fate told me I was destined to be a good man and that I can do that with or without a voice. I appreciate the idea, my friend, but I am afraid I will have to strongly decline Trigger's thoughts sounded fearful, firm and some sort of emotional uncertainty. He was sure loki could help him but at what cost? What price? And would Loki even bother to try to not hurt him? Trigger didn't want to think about it.

Trigger chuckled which had a rasp to it as it once did before but he then caught Hogun's slip and blushed insanely. Did hogun just call him handsome? He got the generous part that hogun deliberately said to correct himself and he nodded his thanks but his blush remained. He snapped out of it to realize Hogun called him strong, confident and generous. He nodded again, patting hogun's hand in thanks. He then nodded in agreement as Hogun said he was grateful Trigger was spared and that Hogun was glad to be friends. I too am grateful. There are many people in my home that he could've killed, the people there were very familiar to me and I was relieved to see them pretty much safe from Loki's wrath. I also enjoy speaking with you. You are a very good person to talk with

Hogun smiled as Trigger listened to him.

"You know it's funny. I talked more than I have in the past few days than I have in years. And most of that's been with you. Even if Loki doesn't like people talking much I hope you feel free tot alk to me as much as you like. Or think. Whatever it's called." said Hogun.

He paused and smiled hoping he could talk with Loki about it.

"If he says no at least you tried. And I'd love for you meet my friends. Although I suppose I can't let on that we're friends now. I know they wouldn't say anything on purpose but all it would take is guards or Loki or one of the others to overhear one conversation and it could put you in trouble. And I don't want that." said Hogun.

He didn't want to lie to his friends but he would if it meant keeping him and Trigger safe. He paused as Trigger hugged him back when Hogun apologized.

"I'm glad you're not mad. But I did need to apologize. You tried to keep me and my friends safe. I would have liked to be asked first but you really couldn't have. So I'm sorry for sounding ungrateful. You've done all this for me when you didn't have to. Thank you." said Hogun.

Hogun sighed as Trigger agreed there wasn't anything they could do about the others.

"Well I will make sure they're safe. Even if I have to make a jail break and free them. I'm sure they could be safe in Asgard. Or use the Bifrost to make it to Earth or another realm. Although that'd be risky and with no place to send them they might get punished if they were caught. And so would I. I guess I should forget that idea." said Hogun.

Hogun smiled as Trigger listened to him and he was siletn for a bit. He smiled as Trigger hugged him back and talked to him.

"I don't like Loki hates me. But I don't think he likes me either. Whatever friendship we had faded with time I guess. But I know one thing. He's the king of Asgard now. Unlike the last time I stood against him he wasn't formally crowned king. Which is why I could side with Thor to stop him. But now I can't. Perhaps I should talk to Loki and tell him that." said Hogun.

He smiled glad Trigger was happy and grateful that Hogun trusted him.

"Your welcome. You're my friend and you got me out of slavery. I mean I suppose technically you're my master but that's just for appearances now. I was beginning to think I'd be stuck as a slave forever until you came along. Thank you." said Hogun.

Hogun paused as Trigger said it wouldn't be a good idea.

"You're wrong. You're worthy of a voice. You're the most bravest, and kindnest man I know. You deserve to speak. I'd give you my voice if I could. I hardly use it much anyway." said Hogun.

He paused for a moment looking at him.

"You've already suffered enough. If you're worried about a price I'd gladly pay it. I owe you one after all." said Hogun.

He paused realizing Trigger had noticed his slip about calling him handsome. He'd tried to correct himself but he knew he was being too obvious. He blushed again realizing it was obvious. He might as well tell him.

"Alright I admit it. You're handsome. I'm attracted to you since the moment I first saw you in the throne room. But I didn't think I'd even get a chance with you. Even being your friend seemed impossible. Until now." said Hogun.

He blushed again as he stood up grabbing a duster as he dusted the place a little trying to keep himself busy. When he was nervous before he'd always train but well his armor and weapons had been taken away when he was captured. So all he could do now was clean. He paused turning back to Trigger hearing him speak again.

"I'm glad you're safe. To get the chance to know you and be your friend. I would be sad if I'd never met you. So I owe Loki one." said Hogun.

He grinned as he went back to dusting trying to distracting himself in case Trigger didn't feel the same way. He was flirting with the guy who saved him from slavery. What if he didn't feel that way? Hogun felt like an idiot hoping Trigger would just let him down gently and move on. It didn't even occur to him Trigger might feel the same way.

Trigger chuckled again as Hogun mentioned that most of the time he spoke to in a long time was with Trigger. And that Hogun wished to let Trigger know that even though the king was not much of a chit-chat person, Trigger was more than welcome to communicate with him. Well you can consider it talking if you wish! He responded with his thoughts and they sounded cheerful and continued to sound that way when trigger continued I will be more than happy to chat with you. You are without a doubt a interesting person to speak with, Hogun

Trigger then nodded with a hint of regret that if the king said no to Hogun being alone with his friends, that at least he tried. He was aware of the lack of privileges slaves had, so he knew he had to be aware of those said boundaries. He then beamed brightly as Hogun said he was welcome to meeting the others but that they needed to lay low when it came to their friendship for the moment. Which was something trigger completely understood. If loki found out what he and hogun planned, the result could be chaotic. Maybe even deadly. Yes. We will keep this between us for now. When the time becomes right, perhaps the king will know of how you and I are friends He then sighed sadly I am touched you are worried for me but you need not to. If anything happens to me, you must take care of yourself

He smiled brightly as Hogun apoligized. The physic knew that he wouldn't be able to convince the other man to not apoligize. So he embraced it humbly and allowed the other to speak It is alright. You are right, you should have a voice on the matter but I could not be able to allow you the privilege. I don't need to be thanked but I appreciate your thanks

Escape is high treason, hogun. We cannot think rashly about this. But yes, I am sure finding other ways to ensure the others safety can be a thing we can work together on Trigger replied within his thoughts and the tone sounded firm and cautious. He didn't want to take any chances. He feared Loki's power just as much as the rest of them did. The physic could not fight back godly power and he knew loki had ways of defeating trigger if it ever came to that conclusion.

I do not know whether the king dislikes you or only dislikes you to appear strong, but perhaps you should allow the king to present himself. Maybe Loki does not remember your friendship but there has been no proof of that yet, so give yourself some hope and give yourself a chance to speak with him. Maybe when loki is in a good mood you can approach him Trigger suggested as he and hogun continued to talk about the king. Trigger didn't want hogun to give up yet. The king did seem indifferent to hogun but trigger, since he knew of hogun's feelings, wanted to see if the two could become friends or allies again.

Yes the master and slave relationship is only for the public. I am only requiring of your friendship and trust and you gave me both. I should thank you for that. So I will He then held Hogun's hands gently and looked at them before looking up at Hogun again. He smiled as he said the last part Thank you, Hogun

Hogun's insistance on his voice gave Trigger a negative feeling. Trigger instantly got fearful and rubbed his arms as if he was cold but actually this was his way to calm down. He had bad memories when it came to his voice and the fact he no longer had one actually made Trigger feel his life was easier without one. His tone within his thoughts were persistant but fearful I appreciate your words of kindness towards me when it comes to my own person but despite that, I still feel no need for a actual voice. I fear no oath but that is definitely the possibility that can come up that I do not want to have and besides if there was a debt I will never ask you to pay for it. However the main reasons for this refusal is because I have used a voice thanks to the gypsy's gift but when I was suffering and begged for mercy, no-one heard my cries. What good is a voice when no-one will hear it nor be able to? I am perfectly fine as a mute He sighed again, starting to shiver more and he breathed heavily as if he was wanting this part of the conversation to stop.

Eventually it seemed it did and he was able to calm himself down quickly. However the conversation turned for something more personal to Trigger as Hogun admitted to being attracted to him. That the minute the two met there was a attraction the man felt for Trigger. Trigger's heart leaped with joy. So this man, who he felt extremely attracted to, felt the same way he did. It seemed though poor Hogun didn't think that as he quickly said he didn't feel he had a chance until they met in person and the other immediately went for something to do. Trigger pondered over everything hogun just told him and felt that perhaps that being more than just friends was something Trigger was more than happy to do. Trigger even thought that being friends as well as being romantically involved definitely worked too. He stood up and walked as Hogun continued dusting and said that he was glad Trigger was safe and that he'd be sad if he never met him, that he owed Loki a favor and that he was grateful for the chance to be friends.

It was at that moment that Trigger's heart pounded with the desire to tell Hogun how he felt. So he did, Trigger quickly went beside hogun and very patiently used his own hands to take away the duster from hogun's hands and replace them with trigger's hands. Trigger squeezed them gently before finally saying his thoughts Hogun. I fear there is something I've been wanting so badly to tell you but I couldn't find the appropriate time until now. Now before you say anything, again my need to rescue you was to simply do a good deed and help you from your bad situation. However I feel that my heart tells me that I wish to be not only your friend but a chance to be your other also. I want to let you know how I feel inside Trigger came closer to Hogun breathing a bit in nervousness I wanted this to be natural so if you do not feel ready for this at all, feel free to speak so now. Hogun grinned listening to him.

"Alright. Well it's only way we communicate. You know since you're a telepath you can read my thoughts right? I'd say we could talk like that in public only I think there's another telepath. And for all I know Loki could be a telepath now as well. I don't know all of his powers after all. So I guess to be safer we should talk like this when we're alone." said Hougn.

Hogun grinned as Trigger said he'd more than happy to chat with him.

"Thanks. I really enjoy talking with you. I guess after Loki and I grew apart I just stopped talking. I suppose I'll just stick to just talking with you. And my friends of course. And if someone asks me to speak I would of course." said Hogun.

Hogun smiled at him.

"I hope so. I hope he'll talk to you. I'm glad you want to be my friend at least. If I'm forbidden from talking or hanging out with my other friends at least I won't be alone. And you won't have to be either. You've suffered so much thanks to the cruelty of others. I wish I could take away your pain. No one should have to suffer like you have. Especially not someone as sweet as you." said Hogun.

Hogun paused at his words shaking his head.

"I won't let anything happen to you. If you died I'd probably be taken back to the other slaves. Or worse given a new master who would treat me no better than I was before you brought me here. Maybe even worse." said Hogun.

Hogun looked at him and sighed.

"I know. I overreacted though. You didn't have the option of telling me. I am sorry I hurt you even for a moment." said Hougn.

Hogun nodded and sighed.

"It's not like we have a much of a life here. If we left we could try to be happy. But I suppose you're right. I wouldn't want to leave without you or my other friends anyway." said Hogun.

Hogun sighed again listening to Trigger.

"I'm sure he remembers it. But it just matters if he cares about our friendship or me anymore. Maybe all he wants is power. And well Johnny." said Hogun.

He blushed at that last statement. He was slightly grateful Loki hadn't chosen him. While he viewed Loki as a friend he wasn't interested in him that way.

"Maybe. I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask him." said Hogun.

Hogun nodded as Trigger agreed to keep their friendship a secret for now.

"Perhaps one day Loki will consider making me a part of his court. If I can get his trust and friendship. Then you wouldn't need to be my master anymore to protect me." said Hogun.

Hogun smiled at him as Trigger took his hands. Hogun blushed a little not really used to such attention. He smiled as Trigger thanked him.

"Your welcome." said Hogun.

Hogun paused shaking his head.

"I know you had some bad experiences. But you can't refuse to never get a voice just because of that crazy woman and people not hearing you. Maybe the woman put a spell on you to make people not help you. Maybe they were afraid she would hurt them if they helped you. Maybe they were just bad people. But not all people are like that." said Hogun.

He sighed realizing Trigger started to shiver and breathe heavily as Hogun realized he might be having a panic attack. Hogun stopped talking as he hugged him trying to calm him down.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make you upset. I just wish you could speak. I'd would gladly pay any price. Even my own voice if necessary to make you happy. I don't use my voice much anyway. But I will respect your decision. I won't bring it up again." said Hogun.

Now he felt terrible. He'd made Trigger feel worse.

"I'm such an idiot. I was trying to make you feel better and I made you feel worse." said Hogun.

Seeing Trigger calm down Hogun relaxed a little. Although the guilt was still there. Trigger then took the duster away from him and he took Hogun's hands again and squeezed them. He gasped in shock as Trigger agreed he did want to help him. But then Trigger confessed he had feelings for him as well. But he didn't want to pressure him. Hogun reached forward pulling Trigger closer as he kissed him. He paused after awhile pulling back to breathe blushing slightly.

"I never thought you'd feel the same way. But now it's out there. Maybe we could tell people I'm your consort just so we wouldn't have to hide our relationship. Those guards thought we already were. We don't have to go further than kissing until we're ready of course. But at least people would not question how close we are. What do you think?" said Hogun.

[Trigger]

It probably is. Since we must be careful due to other psychics, I can always use sign-language for the public. Since a majority of the people can understand that, I suppose that can be my backup plan for communication. And yes, due to being a telepath, I can read your thoughts. But I will control my powers enough to keep your thoughts to yourself Trigger responded, glad to be thinking about plans to keep themselves safe. As much as he was loyal to loki's cause, he was in fear of the king too, yes he believed he was good within but trigger knew, just like the rest, that loki tended to act like a bad person. So it was better safe then sorry. He smiled widely as hogun was glad that he had trigger and he were chatting and although he would prefer to talk with trigger, he was fine with talking to other people when he was asked or required to. I can be perfectly fine with that. I am not much of a talker either obviously but I enjoy speaking to you too

I'm positive he will, considering I'm one of the people who seems to respect him the most, according to him Trigger said when the conversation lead to how to deal with loki but he then paused as Hogun continued on. Saying that he was glad that if he was forbidden or not allowed to talk to the other slaves, he at least had trigger and was glad trigger had him. That he didn't deserve the cruelty he was given, and someone as sweet as trigger didn't deserve to suffer. That hogun wished to take away his pain. Trigger smiled warmly, feeling incredibly touched You are very kind. I am grateful for your concern and support. You make me feel very happy this way. Your words mean so much more than you know Trigger looked hogun over before listening to Hogun's other statements. He paused in contemplation as Hogun promised he wouldn't allow trigger to get hurt and felt concerned that things would become worse for hogun too should trigger get hurt, he then replied sincerely That is why I want you to take care of yourself and protect yourself the way you know how if I should ever come to die. I would never be at peace if I knew I left you behind in this life. Regardless I will be careful for myself to protect you too. I would rather be enslaved than have you return to the position you were once in previous to my arrival

It is alright hogun. You are forgiven. Do not worry about it any longer Trigger said assuringly, smiling to show he had no hard feelings over what hogun said. Trigger paused with concern as hogun responded back about the chances of escape, his thoughts responded firmly but patiently I understand the chances of being happier with escape but the failure of accomplishing this task is too great. It can cost you your life. And it would not matter if you left me here, you would be forced to return due to people searching for you. Even with my protest, the king would have your head and I do not want to risk it He then listened as Hogun commented that loki could've still remembered and only just was consumed by lust for Johnny storm and power for his kingdom but then responded that it wouldn't hurt to ask, which trigger agreed Just try and see the results. The king could just be hiding his feelings to appear strong. I cannot tell you what to feel but maybe you should present yourself to him and see for yourself

He then beamed at the idea of Hogun no longer being a slave and instead be a member of court That would be a splendid thing! If you gain the king's friendship back, you and I can no longer hide this friendship. It would work out well for you this way He then listened as Hogun responded his response to his thanks but frowned deeply as Hogun tried to protest and object to Trigger's own objections. Trigger knew he meant well but he didn't want to hear it. Being mute benefited him, he saw no reason to change that. He shook his head harshly, giving many subtle clues to refusing the idea I know. I know I must understand the other sides to the story. But it still does not change the fact that I was suffering and nothing changed it despite my voice. It was frightening. I cannot do it. I will not do it Suddenly he was beginning to fear he was going to have a panic attack and it seemed hogun was feeling the same way, as a result of the other man hugging him tightly and instantly apologizing. I just panicked He heard Hogun comment that he tried to make him feel better but had the opposite effect, Trigger felt foolish to ever be so scared of something logical but it was done now and he couldn't take it back No. You did not make me feel worse. Eventually after he said all that he was fine and just was paying attention to other matters, and saw Hogun's hands once more after he finally confessed everything. He waited for Hogun's response and it felt as if time was flowing slowly. His heart pounded fast and he waited for the other to respond, his eyes looking both up at hogun's face to his hands. Trigger then saw Hogun come closer and pulled his face closer to hogun's and kissed him. Trigger's heart soared and trigger immediately was lost in the moment, feeling more blissful than he had in years. It felt like decades but eventually he was no longer kissing hogun but his blush was very evident and his breathing quick and light. He gave a very nervous smile but listened as best as he could to hogun. When Hogun asked for his opinion, Trigger nervously got closer and pulled hogun again for another kiss, this one slightly more passionate and fonder than the last time. He pulled back and put hogun's hand on trigger's chest and thought in return I think that is a perfect idea. I do not want to hide the fact that this heart belongs to you. Yes we will not go further until you and I are ready but allowing people to know that my heart is yours seems reasonable

Hogun listened to Trigger and frowned.

"But what if some of them know sign language? If even of them knows a deaf or mute person who speaks with it then we couldn't really speak privately. Maybe we should only talk here where we know we won't be interrupted or overheard." said Hogun.

He smiled as Hogun said he would control his powers to keep his thoughts to himself.

"Thank you. Although I don't mind if you read my thoughts. I don't want to keep anything secret from you." said Hogun.

Hogun nodded.

"Good. I'm not sure what it is about you but I like talking with you. I guess I wasn't a very social person before. And I do regret that. Hogun, Fandral, Loki, and Sif I didn't talk to much. You and Loki are probably the most I've talked to recently." said Hogun.

Hogun shrugged at his words.

"Maybe he will. Maybe he won't. At least he's not keeping me locked in the dungeon so hopefully he doesn't consider me an enemy at least anymore. And to tell you the truth I failed my people. When they heard I went against Loki to help Thor my people were furious. They said Loki was the king of Asgard at the time and my duty was to follow the king of Asgard. They put it to a vote to either replace me or give me another chance. They voted to give me another chance but said if I went against the current king's wishes again I would be summoned back to my realm and imprisoned for treason. I agreed not wanting to never see any of my friends again. And to make it up to my people." said Hogun.

Hogun smiled as Trigger seemed happy at his words.

"I'm glad I could help you in some way." said Hogun.

Hogun sighed.

"I'm a warrior Trigger. I've trained for centuries. I can take care of myself. It's just that my powers are blocked with this collar. And I can't carry weapons. Not even a knife. If something happens to you I'm back with the others. I'm as defenseless as the rest of the slaves." said Hogun.

Hogun paused hearing his statement.

"But if you were enslaved I'd be back where I started anyway. And you'd be right beside me. I don't want that to happen to you. You were already that witch's slave. You deserve your freedom and your happiness." said Hogun.

Hogun smiled as Trigger said he was forgiven and Hogun smiled.

"Thank you. I want things to be okay between us. I never wanted to make you upset or offend you. I know very little about Earth culture so I apologize in advance if I do something wrong. I was only on Earth once to help Thor fight off Loki and the Destroyer." said Hogun.

Hogun nodded.

"I know. Escape is a foolish move and would just risk death or a worse situation than I'm in now." said Hogun.

Hogun nodded.

"I guess it won't hurt to ask." said Hogu.

Hogun smiled.

"Yes it would. I hope I can. Like my people said my duty is to the current king of Asgard and that's Loki. He's my friend too and I turned my back on him. I knew we grew distant but he was still my friend. I should have tried to be there for him. Tried to talk him out of the attempts to take over. When he needed a friend I wasn't there. That's one of the reasons I don't really talk much anymore. I'm not sure when it happened but Loki stopped hanging with me. He stopped caring about me. And that hurt. After that I just stopped talking for the most part. I always felt I did something wrong. Please don't shut down on me like he did. I don't want to lose you too." said Hogun.

Hogun paused still feeling awful he'd triggered one of Trigger's attacks. He shook his head looking at the ground sadly.

"No. It is my fault. I pushed you too far and triggered that. I'm sorry. I'm a bad friend and a very bad boyfriend." said Hogun.

He paused hearing Trigger's words and shook his head.

"No you're just saying that. I did make you feel worse." said Hogun.

Hogun paused as he was lost in the moment as they kissed twice. The second one even better than the first.

"That was incredible." said Hogun.

He grinned as Trigger agreed to his idea.

"I'm glad. That means I don't have to hide my feelings for you either." said Hogun.

He paused pulling Trigger closer into another passionate kiss.

Very well. We will simply talk in private. You never know what these people will do if they ever listen to our conversations. Besides it is our business Trigger agreed as he and hogun continued to chat about how to communicate. He didn't like the secrecy but due to people being rather gossipy, Trigger wanted him and hogun to be comfortable with talking with each other, so the best way was private chats. He didn't mind though. He liked private chats.

But your business is your business. I will not read your thoughts unless I need to for specific purposes or communication Trigger responded, his thoughts sounded pleasant and kind. He saw no reason to not keep hogun's thoughts to himself. He didn't need to hear everything he thought about. He could keep privacy couldn't he? Of course he could.

Not everyone needs to be social. I did not have a lot of friends growing up. Only the supervisors at the orphanage He looked down sadly. He wasn't always very happy at the orphanage. Not because of abuse or anything like that, but because he was a outsider to the children. If you didn't talk, you couldn't play. Or better yet, if you couldn't do anything with talking, you weren't worth getting attention. He didn't care about it yet the child within him felt differently. He turned to Hogun with a smile to make sure that the other was aware he was ok.

I feel that you were trying to listen to your heart but the people were listening to the law but I do not want to offend you. Your people are important to you and I understand. We will have to see what happens. Do forgive me if I sound rude Trigger responded softly, his tone in his thoughts careful. He didn't want to accidentally offend him. He wanted to let Hogun know that this was understandable. He sounded soft and comforting in his thoughts

I know you are capable but as you said, you are defenseless thanks to that collar and the fact you have no weaponry. I must do my part to protect you anyway Trigger said assuringly, looking him over calmly. He hated this. Hated the fact that Hogun was in fact defenseless. It wasn't fair to Trigger. Not fair in the slightest. It just wasn't. I would rather be beside you than above you. But I do not want to think about possibilities. Let us stay safe please Trigger responded accordingly to Hogun's response, smiling though as hogun said he deserved freedom and happiness. He felt he was happy and free. Because hogun was here.

It is alright. I understand. You will not do anything wrong and even if you did, I would guide you. If you want that is Trigger offered as Hogun was glad this matter of forgiveness was resolved. He continued as Hogun talked about other subjects, he nodded about maybe asking loki about things but then his heart broke a little as Hogun made him promise to not shut down on him. That he didn't want to lose him. Trigger went closer to Hogun and gently assured him by holding his hands and squeezing them Never. You will never lose me. Whether be death or other people's annoying behavior, you will never lose me. I am here. Always. For you

He then gently hugged Hogun who said he was a bad friend and boyfriend, rubbing his back in assurance, trying to make hogun feel less anxious for him. No. No. It is not your fault. This has happened long before you came. It was so much worse previously. You are not at fault. You will always be a good friend. And a good boyfriend. You are very good. Do not be upset. I am not "just saying that" I am serious

He then was embraced by the beautiful feeling of kissing Hogun again, the passion behind it is was really sold it for him, and he meekly smiled as they let go. The second time was better. Though the first kiss was great, the second kiss just made it better. He then nodded happily as Hogun said that he didn't have to hide his feelings for him before pulling him in for the third time. He was now growing confident and he kissed Hogun passionately for the third time. He pulled Hogun closer, his arm wrapped around the other tightly as the two met passionately. Trigger's mind was just focused on kissing the other. Nothing else. He felt so peaceful. So complete. Hogun was someone he kept close to him. And he wanted to keep it that way. It definitely took a while and lasted forever, according to trigger, but eventually the two broke and with half-lidded eyes did Trigger look back. He put his forehead to hogun's in a affectionate response and only thought out one word Perfect

Hogun nodded glad they would agree to only talk in here.

"It's probably for the best. I wouldn't be surprised if Loki or even some of the others have cast spells to spy on each other. Especially in the main rooms." said Hogun.

Hogun grinned at his words.

"Alright. If you that's what you prefer. If it was anyone else I'd hate it but I wouldn't mind sharing my mind with you. We're going to be sharing everything else after all." said Hogun.

He paused as Trigger said that not everyone needed to be social. He paused wrapping Trigger into a hug and gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Your past may have had sadness in it but our future will be happy. Full of smiles and laughter. I'll make sure of that." said Hogun.

Hogun nodded.

"I don't completely agree with them but at the same time I feel guilty I deserted Loki. I suppose he deserted me first in a way but I still should have stayed by him. I hope I can make it up to him somehow." said Hogun.

Hogun nodded.

"Perhaps you could talk with Loki to at least getting me a knife. Maybe appoint me as your bodyguard or something. That way I could at least could protect myself and make sure no one hurts you as well." said Hogun.

Hogun grinned.

"I wouldn't want you as a slave. Because then they could sepsrate us. I'd rather be your slave for eternity than be forced to never see you again. I don't think I could handle that." said Hogun.

Hogun smiled as Trigger said he did nothing wrong. Then the topic shifted to how his friendship with Loki ended and how he didn't want Trigger to shut down on him. Trigger hugged him and Hogun hugged back. Hearing Trigger say he would never lose him was more comforting than he realized.

"Thank you. And you'll always have me." said Hogun.

Hogun paused at Trigger's words saying this happened long before the met and was much worse back then. It wasn't his fault.

"It is my fault. I triggered it. I know I did. You don't blame me but I still blame myself. I'm sorry. Maybe you could help me know what bothers you. I don't want to trigger another panic attack. I don't want to hurt you. I want to make you happy." said Hogun.

Hogun grinned as they kissed several times. He was just lost in the moments. When he heard Trigger speak again he grinned.

"Yes. Perfect." said Hogun.

I agree. Talking in our private chambers is best. Who knows to who's listening? Best we keep this to ourselves Trigger agreed. He didn't trust many people here. Some but not all. However hogun was on his list of people he completely and utterly trusted so sharing things with hogun were incredibly easy to do. However, people were not one to keep things to themselves, always wanting to see the next best scandal of some kind. Being safe with words was the best thing for them right now.

I am very glad you trust me, it is just I want to have your thoughts looked at only for emergencies and other special occasions. Not all the time. I want you to have privacy to some degree Trigger responded, his thoughts sounding explanatory and caring. He knew hogun was more than happy to allow trigger his thoughts but trigger was not one to overstep boundaries on those he cared about.

Trigger smiled and closed his eyes as he felt hogun kiss his cheek and hug him. Hogun's assuring him that he would be happy and have his life filled with laughter and enjoyment brought a bigger grin to trigger's face. He lovingly nuzzled hogun's neck and responded back You do not have to make sure of it. You already have given me happiness and contentment. By just being yourself and being beside me He then assuringly rubbed hogun's back as he responded about loki and hogun's relationship I am sure you will make it up to the king. Do not blame yourself though, I do not want you to be down on yourself. Things will heal overtime

I can talk to him. You have the right to defend yourself. I was just about to say I shall talk with loki about giving you some sort of knife. I too believe you should be able to protect yourself Trigger agreed. He saw no reason to not allow hogun some sort of weaponry. What if there was a fight and no-one was there for hogun? To be fair, trigger would be dead before allowing hogun to get hurt but hogun was right. Hogun could not be protected by people forever and he was a warrior, he had to have some sort of weaponry on him.

Yes. Being away from you is like losing the other part of me Trigger said, a regretful tone in his voice as he kept hogun closer to him I cannot lose you. I will not lose you. I do not want to lose you just as much as you do not want to lose me He then breathed contently as Hogun responded that he would always have him Yes. Always. I am yours and you are mine He sighed, feeling some sort of deep sense of peace and content.

I just do not want to bring up getting a voice back and through time, I can tell you all of my triggers just so we cannot let myself get into another panic attack. But please do not blame yourself, because it is not your fault I have this issue. You did not hurt me. You will never hurt me Trigger assured, coming closer to hogun and hugging the man, gently kissing his cheeks and making sure hogun was calm and aware that trigger was not angry. Trigger was hard to make angry. Unless provoked or threatened, trigger was more or less a peaceful man. He rarely got upset. Hogun especially could never make him so much as annoyed.

He loved every kissing moment he had with hogun, he loved hogun being here in general, he loved this. He felt so happy he felt his heart would burst. He let out raspy giggles and blushed redder than a beet as he heard hogun say perfect in return. He felt like a lovesick puppy now. He kept hogun close and just held him, in some peaceful silence. How can I deserve such perfection? He wondered, knowing hogun might hear his thoughts. He then stared into hogun's eyes and felt a nerve be exposed and he kissed hogun one last time, saying words he couldn't help but say I love you
